The Ranch Enchilada is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great and the servers are really quick. I always get the burritos or the nachos. The prices are extremely reasonable as well!

Enjoying the basics of eating out to enjoy a meal. This is a good, family restaurant. Good food, friendly staff, and a clean restaurant. They are an ideal walking distance from my house, so I drop in when I can for dinner, and I have never been let down by a meal.

I’ve been here multiple times but all for lunch and every time it has been great! The service is quick and they do a great job of checking on us after getting our meals. The food always comes out fresh and HOT! I love it that way! I always tend to get the enchiladas with a side of rice and beans… so good! Love that they serve chips and salsa as soon as we are seated and we get cinnamon chips as dessert on the way out! I am definitely a fan of this place and will be returning!

Only thing I like about this place was the salsa and chips. Ordered taquitos dorados de pollo and got shredded beef. Ordered an horchata and got a glass of milk with polbo de canela. Might fool the people in this area but I’m from Los Angeles.

We love this place! Amazing food, amazing service. We are always treated like family. The staff takes time to learn our names and even what we like to order. We’ve been renovating our house and find ourselves coming here multiple times per week because it’s the next best thing to feeling like we are at home.

First, this is not an authentic mexican restaurant. Mexican-American at best. We used to eat here when it was Bobby D’s so we came back to try the new ownership. The place was clean and service was ok. It appeared that the owners were like helicopter owners buzzing around making sure the servers were doing their job right. It seemed very chaotic with some servers standing behind the bar chatting away while others going back and forth. I don’t like to see servers standing around. There wasn’t any warmth or happiness from any of the servers or owners. I was very uncomfortable the whole time we were there. Now as far as the food goes. We all ordered our food and it came out fairly quickly and was hot. I ordered the Macho burrito with steak, wife ordered the Suicide Burrito, oldest daughter ordered the bean and cheese burrito and the youngest ordered a plain steak and cheese burrito. Wife and oldest were very happy with their burritos. Myself and my youngest(12) were not happy with the quality of the steak. I found the meat to be dry and grisly. I had to pull several bites of meat out of my mouth, something i very rarely do. I also found the guacamole to be runny and not fresh. The youngest also complained about the meat in her burrito. The only thing i did like was the colorado sauce that topped the burrito. That made my burrito at least a bit bearable. Overall, I give the restaurant 2 out of 5 stars because my wife and oldest liked their meals. We probably won’t be coming back anytime soon. Servers and owners were just a bit creepy to me.

I want to like this place, I really do. We’ve tried it twice. Two things of happened both times… The service is slow and most importantly the food was just not that good. The food is just thrown together. Quite sloppy. Really really oily. Flavors are not there. I tried 2 different things on my visits so did my husband. With so many other Mexican restaurants in the area… We won’t be returning to this one.

The Ranch Enchilada checked all the boxes for me. Accessible(no wait, fast service), delicious, and affordable. I ordered the chicken and bean burrito and it was stuffed with shredded chicken breast and covered in enchilada sauce that tasted homemade. My husband got a steak quesadilla and it was super flavorful and not greasy. The whole menu looked great, so I can’t wait to come back and try more things!

We were there for early dinner, 4 pm ish, and by the time we left there were 6 other tables! Popular! We had the Tuesday special, the Chicken Chimichanga, with the verde sauce on the side. Delicious, stuffed with tender juicy chicken. My mom had the Chile Verde, which is her first choice at any Mexican restaurant, and said it was very good. I had the California Burrito, which comes with rice and is stuffed with egg, bacon, potato, beans, and chicken or steak, I chose steak. Tons of bacon, good steak, potatoes. Could have a little more egg, but overall a winner! Tip: if loud noises bother you, do not sit all the way in the back by the bar — the blender is loud, when it is on. This was our first time here and we will be back!

Pretty good food, a little bland though. The salsa was not spicy at all. The service was mostly good. It was hard to get a refill on our sodas and our bill came before we could order a fried ice cream.

Came during lunch on a Friday. There was no wait to be seated and we were quickly accommodated. Since it was not busy the waiter was attentive and helpful with my group and their questions since we were first timers. He recommended variations to our orders to give us tastier options. We were given chips and salsa once we were seated. It was good, I enjoyed ho. The salsa was chunky with bigger pieces of onions. I ordered the suicide burrito and horchata. The burrito was well sized. The flavor of the red sauce was okay. A lot of tomato used in it so it wasn’t too flavorful. The beef in the burrito was good, it was moist for the most part. The guac was fresh, but it tasted like blended avocados, nothing added to it. The horchata had cinnamon added in it and topped with it. It was well made. $ 1 for a refill. For desert there was fresh tortilla chips seasoned with cinnamon. The prices for all their endless average around $ 10 but there are a some orders that go down to $ 8. For a Hispanic restaurant in the residential area of Yorba Linda this was not a bad spot. I did not expect amazing food, due to the record of other spots in the area so this place impressed.

Great service, but nothing authentic about this Mexican food. My husband and I decided to give this place a try based on all the positive Unilocal reviews and boy was I greatly disappointed. First of all, let me tell you about the positives. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive and thought the décor and even the menus(leather-like embossed front and back covers) were very fancy and top notch. And while I appreciate the expense paid to the décor, etc. and the nice staff, I would prefer that they focused more on the quality of their food instead. The chips are clearly store bought out of a bag, the salsa bland and out of a jar and their beans out of a can. The food was so bland that calling it «Authentic Mexican Food» was so far a stretch it compelled me to write this review. Not to offend anyone, but I would classify this food as «Gringo Mexican Food. If you really want to try«Real» Mexican food then I suggest you drive the extra 10 – 15 minutes to El Farolito in old town Placentia, it will change your life! Zesty, authentic and absolutely delicious, it is like night and day compared to this place-and did I mention cheaper on top of it? I don’t know what I was thinking coming here– sure it’s only 5 minutes from my house, but I guarantee you I will be driving the extra 10 to El Farolitio from now on. I’m giving it 2 stars based solely on the friendly staff.

MYFAVORITEMEXICANRESTAURANT. I have been going here since I was little. They moved locations, and even though they are not close to me. I still make the drive to them because of their amazing family owned service, food and great time. P. S. They have the best chips and salsa in the entire world!

The ranch enchilada is a delicious authentic mexican restaurant. My mom and I came for lunch greeted warmly by Jose. We started with their warm chips and tangy salsa! Delicious! Next we had agave margaritas– mango and original. Thought there wasn’t going to be too much of a buzz but boy were we suprised! For lunch we split the Suicide burrito which was massive! Jose bought it to us already split with rice and beans on the side. Their meat is seasoned juicy and lots of it! They definitely don’t skimp! The rice and beans were a perfect side without being over powering. All together? A great experience! We will be back for sure!

This place has really good authentic Mexican food. I got the side salad which is always good great assortment of mixed greens with Italian dressing. The fajitas come out sizzling with a wide variety of green peppers yellow peppers and red peppers so delicious chips and salsa are pretty good, seasoned just a right. The My boyfriends family introduce me to this place they come at least three times a month that.!:)

Great family style restaurant. The food was great. The fajita quesadilla was good. Needed a little salsa to spice it up. We sat on patio that was very nice and comfortable but as of right now due to city laws no margaritas or alcohol on the patio. Hope this changes soon for them.

Carne Asada Salad! The Ranch Enchilada! A newly opened eatery with a super fresh interior that I spacious and open. This is a super clean restaurant! We came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. ~Carne Asada Salad-4 Stars The salad is fresh and vibrant. It is full of flavor. A large dish is served with a gigantic bed of greens. It comes with fresh avocado and ample tasty carne Asada. There are other ingredients that just make this one flavorful dish, even though I had it with no dressing. ~Service– 4 Stars Service was just fine. Friendly and informative, our host was familiar with the entire menu, made suggestions and was overall pleasant to deal with. I am a fan. Super easy parking and very reasonably priced, I like this place and will be back. The Ranch Enchilada, Yorba Linda… another reason the OC is the best place to live!
