Best place to get your nails done especially for acrylics! Tammy is the best nail lady there!

I have been going to Bamboo Nails for about 10 years now. I am always satisfied with the way my nails look. Tammy always does such a nice job. I also like the cleanliness of the salon, wouldn’t go to any other salon.

Tried this nail place for the first time today. I had an appointment with Tammy. My co-​worker recommend this place and Tammy. I am so glad I decided to try out this place. My nails don’t grow and if they do, they break so easily. Tammy was so sweet and knowledgeable. I told her what I wanted and also told her that I wanted my nails short since I used contact lenses. I had pink and white acrylic nails with gel (full set). Everyone was so nice and friendly. Tammy did an excellent job. I absolutely love my nails. I highly recommend this place.

HAPPY CUSTOMER! I have been going to Tammy for years and have always been very happy with her customer service and talent as a manicurist. One day she even went above and beyond when she saw that I wasn’t feeling well as a result of a headache. She took me to a quiet room and massaged my head, neck and shoulders to relieve the pain out of the kindness of her heart. She is this type of person; friendly, caring, observant, and always takes an interest in my personal life. I actually have to drive 30 minutes to get to Tammy, but I do so with pleasure because of the consistency I receive from her, and I always leave a satisfied customer.

I’ve been coming to Tammy for over 7 years! My nails never lift or break, even with being a hairdresser and having my hands in water constantly. She mixes white and pink powder to give me a cloudy pink acrylic look with clear gel. I always get compliments on my nails!

I have been going here for years and everyone is so friendly and they all do amazing work! Everything is nice and clean and never ever dirty! I recommend this place to everyone :) u will leave with a good experience and be satisfied with your service. Come by and pamper yourself like I do and enjoy

I’ve been having my nails, pedicures and facials done with Tammy and her staff for approximately 22 years. They strive for perfection and pamper their clients… Their prices are very reasonable, the shop is always very clean, the staff is very attentive to the client’s needs and they deliver the excellent service. My husband also goes to Bamboo when he needs a pedicure and manicure. I strongly recommend them. Tammy does a top notch facial. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this place. So relaxing and comfortable here. I have been going here for years and just thought about Unilocal!I want to share with you my thoughts. I do my own nails and when I want to go get the done I want it done right. Everywhere else I have gone besides her have done horrible jobs. Tammy Nguyen is the best ! I drive 30 mins one way to go see her because she is that good! Now there are nail spas near my hose but no contest!
I highly recommend this place to you. Everyone here is nice and considerate. The salon is clean and Tammy even outs fresh flowers out.
I have only had great experiences here and that’s why I drive so far.

I’m here every two weeks for Tina to do my pink and white nails! She is amazing! I’ve also been getting regular pedis with Tracy who is also amazing!!! Here’s a pic of my toes (:

Tina did a great job for my coffin set. She’s super fast and professional. The store is clean and friendly environment. Down at garden grove where i live they done pretty fast too but not as precise and clean as this place. Tina clean up under my nails and double check if there’s anymore residues. They use mostly OPI stuffs so that I love.
In conclusion: super clean, super professional, super fast, and super careful

I used to live 3miles from this place and its right by sprouts so it was in my shopping route. But I used to dred coming.
First of all. I’m not one to complain at retails places. I worked customer service and I know the pains.
There’s a couple of techs that are decent. But usually they don’t get the entire nail so I have to ask for them to repaint. If I ask for a design I usually need to ask for them to fix it. The first nail will be fine. But they’ll start I rush when more customers come to the door. And when I ask for then to fix whatever it is they messed up on I basically get an earful.
They basically demanded a tip. And the last time I got really really bad service I didn’t tip and the attitude I got from the women was the moment I decided I’ll never go back.
Don’t waste your time.
Go anywhere else. Orange has some really great places and so does Fullerton.

I have been coming here with my mom and sisters over the past 5+ years, but It has been mostly just for special occasions. We have LOVED the service here and the ladies are always friendly and kind-​spirited. A few months ago, I decided to start regularly getting gel manicures, and this will be the only place I will go! Every time I have come, they have pampered my nails and made them look flawless! I rarely self-​indulge as my work schedule doesn’t allow for such things, but they really do a great job of having flexible hours and a ton of staff on hand to assist you. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes for a chair and they are always really good about getting you in and out while still providing you with a relaxing experience. Tonight I had Vanessa, who really took the time to make sure my nails looked perfect before she sent me home. I have also had pedicures, acrylics, eyebrow waxing, and regular manicures here as well, and I have never been disappointed.

I have been a customer of Bamboo Nails for almost 2 years… They are very professional and welcoming… I have never had a problem with having them do my nails or toes… the salon is very clean… I always call for an appointment because sometimes they can get pretty busy… there prices are tough to beat…

Don’t waste your money. This place is a meat market!!! Cut my wife’s fingers and toes and just laughed.

I came in for full arm, full legs and underarms, but couldn’t even finish because she was so bad. She used old waxing methods rather than modern, quick and simple to use techniques. She left patches of hair everywhere. Not only was she a terrible waxer but the service was horrendous. She would answer the phone every two to five minutes while leaving the wax to harden on my body.

I’ve been to my fair selection of nail salons — upscale and sketchy alike. Like many, I try to keep my errands to just a few stops close to home when I can and this one is not far from me. I’ve had one pedicure at this shop prior to the incidence below. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next nail experience.
It was approximately 2pm on Saturday, April 25, 2015 when I asked for the deluxe pedicure ($ 27). Things were going fine until she took a pick to my cuticles. Her deep digging made me nervous. She was nearly done with the second big toe when I jumped in pain, pulling my foot away from her. She apologized and quickly finished what she was doing. I knew skin had been broken because the alcohol she applied stung badly.
This is the first time I’ve ever been seriously worried for my health, as I now have an infection in the cut. Today I woke up with it oozing. I’m scrambling to make an appointment with my healthcare provider later in the day. I wore sandals to work (woefully inappropriate for my line of work) so I can watch it, and have rubbing alcohol here to clean it every so often.
This is terrible.

My toe nail is still tender a month later. While the wound has healed, the digging done in the same nail bed remains a problem. I continue to seek the help of my healthcare provider for this matter.

It took about two months for my toe to finally feel better. I tried a pedicure (elsewhere, of course), and that spot was very tender. I expect that I will always ask pedicurists to do nothing similar in the future. This was a scary issue for me.

This place needs to be inspected by the health department! You know how they file your nail with the sand paper that goes on the end of the filing machine. Well, she started using a used one at first. DISGUSTING! Also, I had three different girls ask me what color. Get it together people. The person who is doing your nails should ask only once. Then it’s the 20 questions game. For Christ’s sake can there be a relaxing clean nail salon in the area that makes you feel relaxed and satisfied? If so message me. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

I went to get my face waxed and left with skin removed from my brow, upper lip, and cheekbone. An older woman performed the procedure and left the wax on too long. The next day I returned with marks on my face. The woman who completed the procedure was present as I told her she burned my face in three places. She had the audacity to tell me she wasn’t familiar with my skin type. I told her she should not perform waxing on anyone if she is unfamiliar with any skin types. Fortunately, I received my money back including tip.

I’ve been to this location twice. Both times it’s been last minute (I live 2 minutes away) and I always call to make sure it’s okay. Yesterday I called to see what time they close (called at 4:00) they said they close at 5:00 but if it’s okay if I came in at 4:45 because at the moment they were extremely busy. I appreciate their honesty and for allowing me to come in so late. They are fast and their work is good for how fast their work is done. I’m the type of girl that likes to get in and out and not sit forever and wait!
