I recently attended a business function at the fairways. First, when entering the street from Yonkers Avenue, there is a small sign (not lit at night) to continue up a long steep hill. Many of us drove around and it was confusing. We were in the large room. The room is sparsely decorated (a typical catering hall room). We were served a small but tasty buffet dinner. When coffee/​tea were offered, we were told that there was no dessert. Can you believe a catering hall FORGOT to get the cookie trays? I could hardly believe that excuse, so our group did not get any dessert. They told us there was no dessert anywhere in the building. How stupid could the manager be not to have backup items for emergency needs. Needless to say our business group will not be returning to Fairways at Dunwoodie, yonkers ny

Had a family First Communion party for about 90 people at the Tibbetts Room @ Tibbetts Brook Park, and it was AMAZING. Meagan, the party coordinator, is so much more than that — she ensured our day was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to handle everything, and really helped me through the day (first time I threw a big party). The food is absolutely delicious, especially the mustard crusted salmon (big hit with everyone). I would throw another party here any time. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
