Great restaurant with nice set up. I went 2 times and enjoyed both time. Nice for meeting and good lunch. We will go back

Quiet always empty but good Asian inspired cuisine in East Yonkers. Always empty because I almost always visit this spot for lunch after an intense workout. Very good for take-out and nice lunch box specials. Friendly staff with fair prices. Need to grab lunch of Yonkers Ave, this is a safe bet.

Never had take out from here but came here several times over past couple years. Both Chinese and Japanese are really good. Small casual place, friendly owners, above average food.

For good old fashioned Chinese food this is the place to go. It’s inexpensive and good quality. White meat chicken, not greasy, fresh. It’s our new go to for take out.

Worst experience I have ever had. The manager does not know what what proper customer service is. We were at party of four and they added 15% gratuity for no reason without warning. Gratuity is only added for a party of 6 and greater. DONOTGOHEREANDWASTEYOURMONEY!!!

Oh this place man… I loved this place when it was«Hunan village» some time ago tho hell Charlie Browns was still there! But anyway my husband and I used to come here for sushi and it was pretty good until I ordered the shrimp tempura as dinner and I bit into my shrimp to almost swallow a piece of plasm from a disposable fork… Like wtf kind of utensils do you use in the kitchen ?! Plastic?! Either way I’ve had enough so I asked for a check and low and behold the tempura was still on the check after complaining to the manger … It took him 20 mins to decide wether to take it off or not — I was just about to rip his head off when he said«ok all finished» and he took it off I was done after that

Amazing food, amazing customer service! The best Chinese here in Yonkers! The sesame chicken is out of this world and the sushi as well.

Great service! They have tasty sushi, great wonton soup and delicious fried/white rice. I love going to this place because with some chinese food restaurants certain dishes are a hit or miss. However, the tasty house is pretty spot on. Everything they offer is pretty good including the general tsu’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, boneless ribs, soup, egg rolls, and lobster sauce. Definitely order from them sometime :)

We go to this place at least twice a week. They have one of the best sushi in the area, always fresh and priced well. The service is very good and the place is nice and clean. The manager/owner is very accommodating. Their chinese is very good too. We tried their chechuan and curry dish, and both were delicious and spicy, just like we like. Really reccomend this place!

I also wanted to add that Tasty House has an ordering option online and you get a certain amount of points every time you purchase. Accumulate a certain amount and you get $ 5 off your next order. The disappointing thing about this is that you get your total with tax. So an example if my total were to be $ 19.75 with tax, the delivery guy comes and says that the total is $ 21.14!!! I don’t understand. What is the point of tipping the delivery guy? I feel like the delivery guys is jipping customers and not letting the restaurant in on it… either that or the restaurant allows for him to do this… That needs to change or I am done ordering from Tasty House as good as the food may more than not, be.

I used to love this place. I’m not sure what happened but the last two times I went I could barely eat it. Chicken and brocc tasted almost fake like the chicken was chewy and the brocc had no taste. Chicken and pork fried rice, wow I didn’t think you could mess up rice but its horrible. The sushi was horrible too, I’ve never tasted nasty sushi. Nope, I choose great wall now up the street.

The food was not good at all. Wee ordered orange chicken, general toas and chicken and broccoli. They all taste the same as every other Chinese spot, but the rice was horrible. Undercook and hard. Try a diff take out. We were disappointed

The BEST Asian delivery in Yonkers, hands down. Whether it’s Chinese cuisine, sushi and sashimi or even Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Very reasonably priced and it isn’t the usual low quality of Chinese takeout that is so common.

Tasty House has some of the best Asian fusion in our area. We’ve tried items off the Chinese, Japanese and Thai portions of the menu. Chinese is pretty standard but definitely better than some of the options available in Woodlawn. I’ve only ever tried the Chicken and Broccoli(which was very good) but I based off of my other experiences I bet some of the specialty items are great. The sushi is delicious and super fresh — won’t compare to Tomo though. Apples to oranges, ya’ know? The Thai is absolutely bangin’! Panang Chicken Curry has the right amount of spice and full of veggies(love!). Also tried the Wok Glazed Ginger with beef and it was off the charts. Sooo flavorful and really gingery! The portions are pretty big and the delivery people are always so friendly. Two thumbs up!

Delivery will take FOR-EV-ER. The American kids who answer the phone will not know any of the answers to the questions you ask. The delivery guys cop a ‘tude when you tip them $ 3. Is that really cheap? Well, the food is not. The sushi is eh(better at Tomo). Their crab rangoons are SO weird but kind of addictive but nothing like what you’re expecting. Like, there is mozzarella cheese in them or something. Why do I even order from here? Their curries are awesome(green, Malaysian red, and Thai basil specifically). Their pad Thai is pretty good. The general tso’s is the best in this area, especially when you get sauce on the side for delivery. I’ve eaten in the restaurant once and the portions were massive. The owners kids were there being distracting but I use this as a delivery spot, so it won’t retract from my review. When Asian joints put 2 sets of chopsticks and 2 fortune cookies in my delivery bag it makes me feel so fat. Like, just let me live. 3.5 stars.

Tasty House is the reason why I love Unilocal. If I wasn’t a member, I would never have known that this place existed so near to my home. I saw a check-in, checked out the other reviews, bookmarked it and made it a point to try them out before it became a distant memory. Very happy to have taken the few minutes to do so. Hubby and I took the ten minute drive to try them out. I had some Tom Yum soup with shrimp which was very soothing on the cold night we chose to dine here. Hubby had the White Meat Sesame Chicken for his main and I had the Pad Thai. Both were very good. They dining area is very intimate but worth staying to dine in. They have multiple delivery people which is just a great plus. I am kind of kicking myself in the bum for forgetting to ask if they deliver to my neck of the woods. I must call them. Soon.

This review is for takeout. I work in the area, and I’m typically hesitant to order from an Asian Delivery place without going there in person, but the reviews seemed favorable, so I took the chance. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp with white rice, and my DN ordered the pepper steak with onions with pork fried rice — both as lunch specials. As a side, I added the Tom Yum soup. I wasn’t expecting much, but I have to say that firstly the staff that took my order were pretty friendly and that the food arrived relatively quickly for lunch hour– in under 25 minutes. I assume my DM’s food was good because there was SILENCE the whole time he was munching, leaving behind only meager rice grains and dabs of sauce. The honey walnut was very good, the fried shrimp were nice and crispy and drenched in that tasty sauce. It also seems like they steam their rice as opposed to boiling it, it had a pretty good texture. The tom yum soup was FANTASTIC. Wonderfully seasoned and supremely spicy, with ample veggies and diced chicken. Will definitely be a regular lunch spot!
