It was a great place to stop for a nice brunch with my child. The servings were large, the service was great, and the food was delicious. The bathroom could have been just a tad cleaner though.

My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant. Services quick pleasant and is excellent. Menu is very diverse and have something to please everyone on it from pub fare to full course dinner. They will also prepare your food to go if you please. The best steak dinner in Yonkers!!!

Cute little house opposite Empire Casino. Serves mostly Irish comfort food along with delicious international cuisine. Great bar scene for small groups with screen TVs for sporting events. Voted best burgers in Yonkers by Yonkers Chamber of Commerce. Outdoor patio open in summer months. Katie’s is Westchester’s best kept secrets.

Typical Irish pup /restaurant. Parking available. Service is good, burgers are better… this is an ideal place to gain weight and harden your arteries. If that’s your goal, Katie’s has a burger and more for you.

Been wanting to try this place for quite a while. It’s a cute little spot on Central Ave, but with a name like Katie’s Cottage I was expecting more of a brunch type place than a bar/restaurant. I stopped in for lunch, and there was a sign that stated they won best burger last year. Challenge accepted. I got a cheese burger at the bar(I was the youngest person there by at least 25 years, but I liked that). The burger was actually really good. Best new burger I have had in a long time. It was juicy, tasty, a good amount of cheese. The fries were delicious. Overall it was a great lunch and the Magners hit the spot.

What a great surprise! I had passed this place for years and always wondered about it. Last night, driving down Central, we attempted to go to Salud but it apparently was closed. I remembered there being another spot down the street and suggested checking it out. First bonus– free parking! We walked in and the trivia night was just ending so some of the crowd was clearing out. Sat down at the bar and I was pleased with the selections on tap– namely my go-to beer Stella.(Yes, I am a shame to my countrymen but Guinness is not for me.) The bartender was sweet, efficient and had the right kind of brogue that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and proud to be Irish. He accommodated our requests to change the basketball game to the tv in front of us, which I appreciated also. Perfect pour on the Guinness(I may not have had some, but I know when its legit) and a perfect pour on my Stella too. After a few rounds, food was necessary. We kept things simple and went for mozzarella sticks which did not disappoint. My friend ordered the breaded mushrooms. I am adamantly anti-mushroom but these little fried bits were pretty awesome. Button mushrooms with some kind of cheese coated in a crispy batter that pretty much made me forget that I was eating the dreaded fungi. Best parts about this spot– the drink prices, the bartender and the lively, yet relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back, maybe even for some more mushrooms.

Consistently in the«Best burger in Westchester» debate and has been for many years. Best Guinness in any pub not owned by a guy named Rory and most importantly, pound for pound, the best bartending staff in the country. Their own free parking lot & live music all the time, too!

The Service was great but the food was overpriced and not so good.

I’ve passed this place for years while going into the city. I stopped once last summer and have been back a few times. The menu is a little eclectic for an Irish Pub — the usual Shepard’s Pie and such then there are Italian/American favorites, hamburgers, and daily specials. Since I drive down I can’t comment on the alcoholic beverages, although there’s the usual beer and mixed drinks. It’s the food that I go for; and there is plenty and for the price I couldn’t make it at home as economically.

This cute little place, located on Central Ave just across from the Raceway, is a bar/restaurant with an Irish spin. I REALLY suggest NOT going here if you’re on a diet or are watching your fat/cholesterol intake. That said, it’s a great place to go to get a beer, eat some fried food and chat with people at the table next to you.(If you’re into that) You will rarely spend more than $ 15-$ 20 per person and I GUARANTEE you will leave stuffed. Don’t expect fast service, cloth napkins or(sometimes) clean glasses. This restaurant snob had to get beyond that(and the huge group of rather masculine women playing darts) before settling in to an amazing sausage sandwich and huge plate of fries. Give it a shot and enjoy a greasy spoon!
