We came from San Jose california to visit family and decided to eat here. It is by far the best service we have received thus far in our stay at Yakima. The two female waitresses and the male waiter were all superb! The food was amazing as well and large portions are given. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was craving some Mexican food during one lunch break so came here while I was out on the road. Went to the drive thru(which had a broken system) so I ordered right at the window. Got the pollo asado salad since I know pollo at least meant chicken. When I got it, I got a bag of chips and salsa which I was not expecting(and found out a pleasant surprise!) As for the food itself, the tortilla chips were fresh made as was the salsa. Salsa had some nice kick, which I like, but if you’re looking for a «mild» one, this one ain’t it! The salad was pretty standard but there was broccoli in it? In a Mexican salad? Weird. but hey more nutrition never hurt anybody. The chicken was laid out on top of the salad with some cheese underneath. It was grilled nicely, had a good amount of spice(not too much) and could taste the citrus it was marinated in. There was enough food overall that I saved half of it for dinner(budget win!) It was more than solid so I’ll visit again and try some other things in the future.

Big portions that leave you satisfied! We ordered the mole burrito and arroz con pollo and enjoyed the full flavored plates we got. A bit pricier than what it was worth, but they try to make it up with the large serving sizes.

Had lunch here on my first visit and liked the way the place felt when I walked in. The salsa had a nice kick to it along with good flavor. The Camarones a la Diabla was very good with I believe 9 good sized prawns. The beans were good and really enjoyed the rice but wasn’t able to quite finish it all as the portions are pretty good sized. A lot of items on the menu, will definitely be back as I’ve found my place in Yakima for good Mexican at reasonable prices.

The previous reviewers were spot on about the excellent fajitas. I had the steak and chicken combo and it was delicious and huge. The tortillas taste homemade and the salsa is nice and peppery but not too hot. The service was outstanding. I love it when The server offers a refill before my cup is empty. Perfection all around. We will be back!

We visited on valentines, and although they were busy, the service was attentive and the food was great. Gigantic portions. We had the fajitas asadas and a combo plate with shredded beef tacos and enchiladas. The salsa was so fresh and delicious. The food was very flavorful and hit the spot. We’re from Texas, and we haven’t been able to find such good food this far north. All together, with two drinks and our entrees it was only 35 dollars! What a great deal.

Cold, grease fajitas. Took forever to get waited on and sat and waited for our ticket for 30 minutes. Finally went up front and asked if she wanted us to pay before we left…

The portions here are great and worth your money. I love the seasoning they used on the chicken & steak fajitas. Chips and salsa were fresh

Never going back. I went here with my wife, she ordered a dish without beans, it came with beans. I ordered Chile Colorado and unfortunately the meat had turned, it was old, the fat was rancid. They did apologize and take the item off our ticket but the damage had been done. There is no way that meat should have made it out of the kitchen, obviously no one is tasting the food. Overall, very disappointed.

We ordered a variety of items off the menu from the fajitas to the shrimp and asparagus quesadilla — everything was amazing! Menu is overwhelming with all of their choices — ICY cold mugs for your beers, would highly recommend. They have a pico de gallo with pineapple— almost like dessert yummy

Am still upset, 6 weeks later. Chips and Salsa first rate, we’re fired up. Then everything went poorly: the food served hot, the proper temperature and our hunger disguised how crazy greasy the meats were and then the fat congealed on the plates and we didn’t finish. We would’ve sent 1 – 2 plates back for sure but the waitress abandoned Ship and we didn’t see her until we walked to the counter to ask for the check and pay. Waitress rotely asked if everything was ok. My guest said, «NO! REALLYBAD!» The waitress glazed, nodded, smiled, and we were on our way. I had read the other reviews, and I believe them, however, on this Sunday, Aug. 25, the 3rd stringer non-cook should not have been allowed to cook without extreme supervision.

This is a really tasty Mexican food small-ish restaurant in Yakima with very decent prices. Their salsa is good. My wife and I would usually share Fajitas — either shrimp, pollo, or veggies. Delish!

Very good food. Several vegetarian options. I ordered the Orroz con Vegetables. It came with tortillas and an order of chips and salsa. I got my order to go. It was promptly made and packaged up. The package leaked somewhat but was contained by the plastic bag. It tasted super good and the portion was enough for 2. The noise level in the restaurant was pretty high but not offensive. I would eat here again gladly.

Not bad, not bad. I wouldn’t be sad to eat there again. Not necessarily the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the world, but they haven’t Americanized the menu so much as to remove ALL flavor. Lots of vegetarian options(thanks!) and super delicious salsas. Very kind wait staff which I appreciated deeply.

We go to the drive through here every now and then and it’s fantastic. The food is always so delicious. I recommend for sure the Tres Amigos(three enchiladas) and the Arroz con Pollo here is to DIEFOR!!! One of those is enough to easily feed 2 people, just order an extra side of rice and beans(because they’re really good) I’m from Texas where I was surrounded by authentic Mexican food and this is perfect!

For some reason I expected this place to be more of a takeout joint but it is a full service restaurant. The service was a little slow I think they might have forgotten about me. The prices were reasonable. I thought the salsa was pretty tasty. Lots of onion and not too much cilantro. The standard salsa they bring with the chips is lightly spicy. I asked for hotter salsa and they brought me some blistering hot stuff — it was actually too hot to eat on chips alone but perfect for enhancing my rice and beans. I ordered machitos and one taco. I love good tacos and wanted to compare to others I’ve had in Yakima. The taco was good but cost about $ 1 more than most taco stands and wasn’t necessarily any better; so if you’re in the mood for tacos I’d probably head elsewhere. Also the taco was missing the standard radish slices and I really missed them. The machitos were quite good and were served with some of the best rice and beans I’ve ever had. The rice was perfectly cooked and had some flavor and the beans weren’t overly heavy which is often the problem with rice and beans at lesser establishments. Portions were plenty large — I took most of my meal home with me, but remember I ordered an extra taco. Even so you won’t leave hungry, I’m sure of that. Overall I would definitely give this place a try. I will be going back for sure.

This is a decent little taqueria west of downtown Yakima. It’s housed within what I’m assuming is an old fast food joint, although it’s fast food past is not evident with all the funky dope Latin art and flavor adorning this joint. I grabbed a booth, and was welcomed by a very nice(& cute) server. She hooked me up with a menu, and yes, this place has a full bar. I first pounced on a margarita, BUUUUUT [i like BIG«buts”] I had to track my server down and change my drink to a sangria. How can you say no to sangria?! I chose wisely [I’m smart like that], because this was some potent homemade sangria! For food, their menu is fairly extensive and has some very authentic taco truck/taqueria(i.e. non-gringo) options. I go weak in the knees for al pastor(I love pineapple juices dripping over my meat — yeah, I’m insane). So I went with the Taquitos Al Pastor. This was a full meal with my taquitos served under broiled green onions = YUM(take a look at the photo I snapped). Now I stopped here before going to Yakima’s «Salsa En Calle» summer concert on the street. I was a bit lethargic when I showed up to salsa dance, but I was good to go after a few songs — I was fueled up on the best grub to hit the dancefloor/street with! All in all a decent little joint to pick up some authentic food in a pinch.
