Went here on Halloween. The place was so packed you couldn’t walk anywhere or even find a place to stand without being pushed & shoved! The crowd was like 45yrs and older, and it smelled like ass in there! We had one drink and left, we won’t be going back there!

What the hell? Bikers, sexy older people, Latinos, crazy old black dude with a flashlight dancing by himself, just a unique assortment of folks, all doin their own thing. crazy cool mixes of songs. This place is like something from a sci-​fi movie. A good place for a small group.

I always have a great time here. I moved to Chicago Ridge recently from Texas and have found this place as one of my local favorites. Great staff, great music, reasonable prices and a good range of age groups. Met the owner and he is great and makes sure everyone is having a good time.

weird place! Grandmas get down with the get down in this establishment. Only way I’m going back is if it’s someone’s birthday and I have to.

My favorite bar on South Side so far. Hot, friendly, hard working bartenders, 13 TVs, good music, DJ booth & dance floor… Oh, the beer is ICE COLD

What a great place to meet friends & hang out. Go in hang out and hit the dance floor if you are feeling up to grove’n to some blast from the past.
This is a great local whole in the wall that’s not really a whole in the wall place. A current «Cheers» type of place where you can learn everyone’s name.
Met some old HS friends here for drinks and to play catch up. Bar tab was only $ 50 for several cokes, 3 mixed drinks & 4 shots! A great deal compared to what I’m use to paying in HTown.
FYI Go casual or dressy casual. Not a place I would wear club clothes, save those outfits for the swanky/​hipster places downtown.

It’s like being in someone’s basement — and I mean that in a good way! I’ve only ever been here on a Saturday night for dancing with a group. It’s always a good time.
The place is kind of a hole in the wall. Beer is $ 2 a bottle. Wine is $ 6 bucks for a goblet. You can’t beat the prices. The crowd can be a bit rough looking in general — so it makes for some great peopel watching! Really though, it is an over 35 crowd, casual atmosphere, and great for dancing.
The DJ plays 70’s to today’s music. They play the old-​school videos on the monitors. You can request songs and he’ll usually play them. You can call ahead and reserve a table if you are going to have a crowd. You can bring your own food in if you are celebrating something.
It’s always a good time. There really aren’t many places on the Southside to dance at — and to avoid the 20 year olds. This is the place. Don’t expect anything fancy inside — expect to have a good time!

Drinks are cheap:) Dance floor is large and always full, but not crowded.
Crowd: You will find anyone and everyone here. various ages, ethnicities, etc. Love the diversity here. It is a place where EVERYONE is welcomed!
Music: 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and some current too. Some line dancing, basically… here…anything goes.
Great place to celebrate birthdays. They have TV’s throughout in which they post special announcements such as birthdays and play retro music videos throughout the night.
Seating: There are a lot of tables, but they go quick so get there early.

Barcode attracts a very diverse crowd. It’s great for people watching. Drinks are cheap. $ 2 domestic beers, $ 3 for imports, $ 6 mixed drinks. It’s located in a strip mall which is kind of odd. Parking lot is small and street parking is tough when busy. About a quarter of the place is a dance floor. They have a DJ on weekends and play a nice mix of oldies and newer music. Servers are friendly and do a great job working the floor. There are also three bars so getting service is not a problem.
