Great, professional and friendly service. This has been our go-​to place for glasses, contacts and eye exams for 15 years. Michael the owner and the other Michael, sales associate, are both friendly and down to earth. Prices are on par with Industry standard.

Had a very good experience there today, yes, with a Groupon. A $ 25 Groupon really isn’t going to get you free glasses folks, but it does get you $ 150 off of the total, prices were par for the course, turn around quite fast 24 – 48 hours, and service lovely. Selection was chic and trendy but not way out there. I’ll be back!

Bought a GroupOn to Plante Opticians with intentions of purchasing a pair of Oakley sunglasses since they advertised it 3 different times on the GroupOn. When my girlfriend and I showed up to look over the inventory, we were informed that all Oakley sunglasses were excluded from the deal; fine, I’ll move on and pick a different pair as it was late and I didn’t feel like arguing over $ 25. We both finally decide on a pair and inform the cashier that we are all set and will pay the difference (the GroupOn was $ 25 get you $ 150 for sunglasses or designer frameware) between the GroupOn value and the sunglasses value (this place is way overpriced too!). The cashier then let us know that we had to purchase lenses to go in the sunglasses as well and that price is not included in the GroupOn value. At this point both my girlfriend and I informed the woman that none of this was in the fine print and that we would be contacting customer service and demanding a refund; which a snide remark or 2 was uttered under her breathe. GroupOn did the right thing and refunded our money, but from my limited experience with customer service, selection and price, I will not be recommending Plante Opticians to any of my friends or family.
