I have learned so much about wine here, despite all of the food and wine magazines I read. There are some impressive finds here, you would not expect it from the small looking exterior. You will find what you’re looking for, if not Jim may be able to order it.

Great small spot to pick up some craft brews. They have a decent bottle selection and they have recently introduced me to Lion Stout so I can make really great beer floats. It may sound crazy, but they’re delish!
They also have wine, it’s an OK selection. We bought some local whiskey for a friend that was barrel selected by the owner. Our friend raved about it!

Small in appearance from the outside, but packed with fine wines and great beers! Jim does a great job of rating individual wines, and is always willing to help you fine the perfect wine in any price range. The staff is wonderful, too!

here’s a warning… if you are a single woman do not walk into this liquor store alone… the owner will make you feel very uncomfortable… I will never go in again…

Much better than a ‘hole in the wall’, it’s just tightly quartered! Great selection of wine as well as beer, all top quality stuff. Well organized wine displays and seems quite strong in French ones. In addition to a big beer cooler, there’s a big rack of warm craft beers in bigger bottles.

Six stars… Honestly, I would have paid more for my house if I knew this place was within walking distance.
I’ve been a wine geek since my first job out of school, and this is without question the best wine store I have ever been to. They taste all of their wines and even age them before putting them up for sale if deemed necessary.
Every Friday, O’Haras has FREE wine tastings, and they don’t skimp on what they pour. There are typically around eight, carefully selected wines to taste, and the owner, Jim, knows his wine.
If you love wine, this place is heaven — the best kind of wine shop — small, unassuming, with the most eclectic selection of wine you will find anywhere.

Really great hole-​in-​the-​wall liquor store which because of their selection makes it feel very exclusive.
Probably the best selection of rare, artisanal craft brews in Worcester.
However great their craft brew selection is, they are more focused on fine wines with the obligatory 40oz and macro-​brew selection in the walk-​in cooler.
Before I forget they also carry a decent craft spirit line from Scotches to Tequilla and Vodka.
Tell your friends; they deserve to know.

There are a couple things every package store should have:
1. A walk-​in cooler
2. A good selection of beers in said cooler.
It is really that simple. O’hara’s has these two necessities locked down. Nowhere in town will you find a more diverse selection of cold frosty brews not to mention the resident craft brew guru obviously loves his job and will help you find anything you are looking for. A must stop for any beer guy.
