We stopped here on the way to Maine, and thoroughly enjoyed it! We split an order of the crunchy french toast, which was higly praised by the waitress, and ‘The usual’(two eggs, ham, potatoes, toast). The french toast was decidant and delicious, we barely got through 1.5 pieces together. The eggs were cooked right, and the potatoes were tasty. It’s a tiny place, but luckily we came on a Wendesday morning around 9am, and didn’t have any issues getting a spot. By the time we left all the booths and counter seating was full though. Great prices, 20 bucks for 2 people to have breakfast is the right amount. We will definitely return if we’re passing through again.

There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be eating here. Rather it’s before work during the week, or after a weekend of heavy boozing, your food needs are met. It’s a Worcester original. Have patience and keep it alive… and order the crunchy french toast.

A real old fashioned diner. Counter with stools and some booths. Large portions of omelets. French Toast, pancakes.etc. I went at around noon on Saturday, everyone was still eating breakfast. It’s the best show in town sitting at the counter and watching the cook knock out all the orders.

This place is amazing. The portions are amazing and the breakfast is worth the wait. I highly recommend the stuffed french toast.

Its worth the wait on weekends, so don’t lose your place in line. The menu says«Eat Your Heart Out!» and its so true, the French toast gets its own page with many different delicious choices, its perfect for those who like sweet, indulgent dessert like foods for breakfast(anything made with Nutella, etc.). The homemade slices of bread really set this place apart from the rest, ask for some with your meal. Miss Worcester Diner needs to be on the Best Diners by state list.

Love supporting Diners. Great food welcomed with a smile. Hard working people. I had the meat lovers omelet with the raisin toast and my hubby had the Italian omelet. We shared the Crunchy French toast. It was all gone in seconds. We will be back :)

Decent roadside diner out in Worcester, it’s right across from the flea market which made it convenient. The breakfasts were standard diner fare and decent portions. Waitstaff was good and even though it was busy felt well attended to. I would go back if in the area but not out of my way to go here…

I came here with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We came in and the diner was packed so we waited. The place seems too small for its popularity especially during the winter when you can’t wait outside with a two year old. We ordered 4 adult meals and a kid’s meal. It seems like their are only 3 – 4 people working here but for that amount they work kinda fast. Each plate is about $ 10 but omg they are huge so you get your moneys worth. The reason for only a 4 stars is 1. The size of the place is too small especially for a place getting more popular 2. The people that come here are sontey middle age Caucasian couples. One lady kept telling everyone to close the door while they are coming in like if they will leave it open in the middle of January. They do not like kids and seemed annoyed. 3. A lot of college kids chit chatting in pairs of two sitting there for along time while people wait for a seat. Very inconsiderate. Overall the food and choices are wonderful and so are the staff. Bring cash but they have a ATM there. The girl kept coming to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Pretty amazing when she seems like the only waitress. We understood how hard they work so we left a great tip.

I came in first thing in the morning and the woman working was responsible for the grill and the serving. This remains to be the most badass(albeit slightly icky for sanitary reasons) thing I’ve seen all day. She barely spoke to the clients, she seemed to already know what they all wanted. It was only for an hour and fifteen(2nd staff rolled in at 7:15) but I still think she may moonlight as a superhero. Netflix may make a series about her… Whatever, I’d watch it. Hell, I’d write it. The diner is exactly what I like to see in our age of corporate, cookie cutter dining options. Cash only, good options and decorated by humanity, complete with pics and a sign that said«wicked big____fan». Sorry people, no partisan sports endorsements. After listening to the two women plan snacks for a get together I was charmed and not surprised when the younger one called out«mom, what’d she get» as she rang me up. Family run… Ballsy. Won the 5th star. I stared longingly at the selection of sweet French toasts. I literally would have eaten any one of them and loved it. Literally two pages of munchies-driven stoner worthy creations like Boston cream French toast and peanut butter and jelly French toast. I decided to be an adult and not start the day with a heaping pile of sugar. I opted for a hash and cheese omelet. It was homemade and meaty. It was very good but did not dethrone my reigning favorite corned beef. It was dark and flirting when I arrived. The parking was a little challenging but I’m not from around here. I wedged my car in a semi-legal spot and hoped it did not get ticketed or worse. I liked it.

Yummy all around. My daughter, a french toast fan, adores the separate menu devoted to every type imaginable. She especially enjoys the banana bread french toast. I like corned beef hash, but Miss Worcester’s is TODIEFOR!!! The corned beef is shredded and cooked to a delicious crispiness! Yesterday I had Irish Eggs Benedict which was served over the homemade hash! MMMMM!!! There is a wide range of tasty omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and more!

I love old diners so this was a nice treat before a Holy Cross football game. I had a great veggie omelet and the coffee kept coming. There are not many old diners I do not like, this was what you expect out of such a diner. The woman on the grill was one of the hardest working women I have seen in a restaurant before.

I was meeting a colleague in the city and confirmed to meet at a local diner. I was the first to arrive, there was one person inside. I suggested we find another and settled on the Miss W. The best breakfast I’ve had yet! Worth the trip from anywhere.

The best restaurant in Worcester!!! First the issues: it’s cash only, they close at 2pm Everything else is positive, I’ve been there double digit times and have been pleased every time whether breakfast or lunch. I recommend this place constantly! Some stand outs are: crunchy french toast, big boss breakfast, and Philly cheese steak

Not much too look at inside or out but looks aside the food and service was great. We ordered the famous French toast, a few different versions and the were all unique and delicious. Sides, ranging from hash, scrambles eggs, toast bacon etc… Were also good. Reasonably priced, good food, clean inside. Try this diner, you will be glad you did.

Best damn diner you can go to! I had the french toast filled with meat and cheese. And I’m a trooper cuz I ate the whole thing! Yup, I’m not proud. A hipster was cheffing up behind the counter and he chatted us up in a friendly way. He gave us the history and really loves his job. We went in there right when it opened during the middle of winter. He had homefries on the grill waiting for the first customers, ready to go. Everything was made right in front of us. Good stuff!

I had an appointment in the neighborhood in the morning and was craving breakfast foods like pancakes. I looked on Unilocal and found miss worcester diner. The extensive French toast menu looked amazing so I had to try it. We came around 10:30am and were able to get a table immediately. The restaurant is very small. I think it had maybe 5 booths and some bar stools. They had an open kitchen which I hate. When I see my food being cooked at restaurants I get grossed out so I sat with my back to it. The restaurant smelled terrible. It stunk of fried food. The way you order was kind of awkward. The waitress was behind the bar stools and people were just telling her their order without having her come to the table. It took me a little while to decide what to get. I debated between banana bread French toast, Boston cream French toast which was stuffed with pudding but finally settled on a half order of peanut butter, banana and fluff French toast. The bathroom was outside and you need a key to get into. This was inconvenient but the bathroom was clean. My order of French toast and a blueberry muffin arrived. The french toast had a nice presentation. I had to wipe off the whipped cream to save some calories. The star of the dish was the marshmallow fluff. It tasted delicious melted. I liked the bananas too. The dish was good but not worth the outrageous calories I’m sure I spent on it. The blueberry muffin was boring. The waitress said it came from Sams club. I’m sure it would’ve tasted better if it were homemade. My biggest issue was the smell of the restaurant. It isn’t unheard of in a diner but it was still bothersome enough that I couldn’t wait to leave. I would recommend this restaurant to one who likes different French toast varieties.

The best place for breakfast in Worcester! It’s delicious & cheap, can’t go wrong with that. Definitely busy on the weekends and a wait is almost inevitable but certainly worth it. The banana bread french toast & the stuffed blueberry ricotta are amazing, highly recommended. You may wait a little while for your food but it’s served hot, never had a bad plate there. I’ve been going pretty regularly. The staff is always fun and friendly, They work so hard in such a crazy busy environment! I can’t praise this place enough! A true Worcester staple.

If you are in worcester, you HAVE to check out Miss Worcester’s! Definitely in my top breakfast places of all time! Can’t beat the extensive breakfast and lunch menu AND a whole separate stuffed french toast menu. My favorite is the breakfast burrito but if you have a sweet tooth you need to try the incredible french toasts! From peaches and cream to banana and Nutella, they have it all! The staff is friendly and the diner is small but cozy. Coffee is always delicious too! I have no bad things to say about this place!

Small but vibrant diner in Worcester, MA. If you are in the area, you HAVETO go there for their famous french toast(I recommend«half» portion since they are HUGE!). I also had an interesting item called the Big Mac Omelette, which was basically, the Big Mac without the buns, but in an omelette form. What a creative menu… and yes, with the special Big Mac sauce and the lettuce on top, it was amazing!!! The french toast menu is super long, and each one so yummy, but very sweet, make sure you share with others!

Best diner I have ever been to thus far! I wish I could give it 5 stars because the food here is beyond amazing. I gave it 4 stars because its is such a tiny place. We were in a group of 6 and due to the lack of seating we had to wait for about 30−45mins to be seated. And when we were finally seated we were cramped into a booth. :/ But besides the seating arrangement, the food here is to die for! There is a variety to choose from. I had the meatlovers french toast and I will never get over the size of it. It was huge, I was not able to finish the entire thing. And it just tasted like heaven! I also tried some of my friends scrambled eggs with toast and it was delicious! The only thing I regret about this place, is not living close enough to visit frequently and enjoy their delish food!
