Michael’s Cigar is the spot. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They make you feel at home. Mark and Christian(I think that’s their names) are the managers and they always make sure me and the boys have our drinks and cigars within 30 seconds of sitting down. This is definitely my favorite bar not only in Worcester, but in Mass. Check it out!

I personally don’t love the smell of cigars, but it’s a nearby option to get a decent drink and if you(or someone you’re with) wants smoke a cigar or hookah.

Leather chairs and couches, exposed brick, and dark wood provide an upscale feel in downtown Worcester. Mixed drinks are on point, and the house — blend hookah is always a good bet. I’ve only been on weekdays, but apparently on weekends they feature live entetainment, otherwise they have a digital jukebox adjacent to the bar

Very fun place!!! One word COMFORTABLE! ! Relaxing with a variety of good live music. Very friendly staff and their filtration system is out of bounds. If you’re interested in music and want to relax with a cigar you couldn’t find a better place.

This place is awesome! I have not been here in 6+ months and the bartender remembered what me and my sister drank and smoked! I love this place!

My sister and i are here now. We haven’t been here in approximately 6 months and the bartender remembered us. Amazing. We love the atmosphere here. Comfy chairs, relaxing. Plus the ladies bathroom has mouthwash. A must if you’re having a cigar. The next time we go to the palladium or DCU we will be back.

Cool place, i don’t smoke so a little lost on me but fun nonetheless. The bartender was a little rude also. Drinks were fine. Seemed like the place to be in Warchester, everyone recommended it so gave it a try.

Michael’s Cigar Bar is by far the best bar in the Worcester Area. Top notch staff, all very friendly, and a great atmosphere within the bar. I recently hosted my wife’s 30th birthday there and it was a blast. Mark was very responsive with all of my questions. We had the function on the back patio, which was very well heated and is an awesome place to have an event. Mark made sure everything was clean and ready for my sister and a couple of her friends to come in early and decorate. The valet parking is also a godsend! Thanks again Mark for everything!

I went here yesterday after I dropped my daughter off across the street at the DCU Center for a cheerleading competition. I had five hours to kill and wasn’t sure what I was going to do and then I found Michael’s. What a great cigar bar! It has everything you want, and a lot more that you could only hope for. The place is big, and they have tons of comfortable leather chairs and sofas. Their humidior is well maintained and well stocked with an interesting selection of smokes. They have coffee, a full bar with a wide range of beers on tap, and will even bring you food from the Citizen Wine Bar next door. I had a Reuben with homemade pastrami that was first rate. My time there flew. If you’re in the area and love cigars, by all means go and spend the afternoon.

It’s cool that you can still smoke a cigar in some bars in Massachusetts but this place needs some improvement to make it a standout. The lounge area is good, plenty of chairs and couches. There are enough TVs to watch that Boston baseball team. I liked the ambiance, dark wood, leather upholstery, tin ceilings and exposed brick. Very cool. The beer selection is weak with mostly mass produced swill on tap. They need more local and micro brews. The cigar selection is also skewed to some lesser brands that I would not let a painting of card playing dogs smoke. No Montes. No Rockys. The humidor temp is fine and the previous reviewer may have been here on an off night. I ended up with a La Flor chisel. Tasted fine and went with the Dogfish Ale I settled for. If it was not a weekday I would have opted for one(or maybe more) of, what looked like, a very extensive single malt selection.

Great spot, they should get a better filtration system… it’s not horrible but the place does not handle a lot of smokers at once.

DON’T GIVEYOURKEYSTOTHEVALET! my coworker and i went here, see below for my review. when we left and gave the valet(free) ticket to get his key THEYCOULDN’T FINDIT!!! the valet manager ended up driving him home to get his spare key!!! I couldn’t believe their incompetence!!! I have never been to a place like this. Great place to relax and enjoy a cigar, hookah, or cigarette. comfortable leather chairs, coffee table to put your feet up. the only thing that i was very disappointed in was the service. i know we were not in line of sight of the bar but we were the second group of 2 sitting in chairs in the place. there were a few customers at the bar. I asked questions about drinks made with whipped cream flavored vodka and got one description of a drink. it was a gross chocolate vodka drink. refills were very very slow in coming and the waitress acted like we were bothering her when we asked questions about what drinks they had and when we asked for refills. if it wasn’t for the great company i was with, the friendly customers i met and the ability to smoke here i would have given it 2 stars. i would go back but will not give them my keys. when we left someone was setting up for live music.

Just went to this place for the first time based on a friend’s advice. The first thing I noticed was most of the guests were wearing sweatshirts or sports jerseys with jeans. I actually felt out of place for wearing a shirt and having leather shoes on. Its a shame since the bar and seating area actually look pretty nice, but the whole place had a very fratboy, bro-ey atmosphere. Second, the beer selection was very disappointing. Stella Artois and Hoegaarden were pretty much the best things they had, unless you wanted Sam Adams or Guinness. Mass produced cheap beers is all you will get at this place. Lastly, and what was the worst part, were the drinks I had. I ordered two vodka tonics. Both were served in extremely small glasses filled almost entirely with ice. I noticed on my first drink that I couldn’t seem to taste any alcohol, and my friend said the same. We ordered another round of vodka tonics(at $ 7 per) and again, I could not taste an ounce of vodka and didn’t get a hint of a buzz. So, overpriced drinks that were almost all ice and no liquor. Weak beer menu. And rude patrons. If that sounds like your kind of place, come to Cigar Masters.

I walked into the place and it was like a scene from a movie about a middle-aged guy going through a mid-life crisis. Lights were dim, some old sweaty dude was at the bar reading a book, no workers in sight. Walked into the humidor and it was surprisingly dry and expensive. The only cigars less than 10 dollars had no brand name. Got a My Father cigar hoping for something decent. Gave it a small squeeze and it was like hardtack. Tried to take the bands off and they were dried onto the cigar. Pre-draw also had little to no flavor. The first few draws were alright, but then the wrapper completely fell off, and then the ash commenced to light the wrapper and then the cigar was burning halfway down the stick. Ended it short with utter disappointment. I guess the 13 dollars i spent was for the nice band on the cigar. Never again Cigar«Masters». Maybe it was an off day for them, but that was my experience.

Solid selection Too standard Irish bar-esque Only vaguely reminiscent of the Boston/Providence locations If you want a lot of loud dudes jockeying to impress each other, come here late night on a weekend. I was heading to Armsby Abbey and found myself shut out due to road closures because of a concert. No problem — there was a Cigar Masters right here? Excellent, said this Providence resident. Pity, but it’s a whole different ball game here. Similar fit and finish, but the crowd and ambience aren’t what I expected. The live entertainment was strained, overly loud, and under-talented. The beer selection was pretty good, and same for scotch. CM humidor selection will never be a problem — but basic availability of matches was lacking. Really? Look, I’ve only been here once, so take it with a grain of salt. But this place needs some remedies if it’s to match its BOS/PVD counterparts, and a little effort from the staff could start to go a long way. Need to revisit.

Just got back from a Jaime Garcia promotion/pig roast and I’ve got to say the place is phenomenal, but only if you like fine cigars, an excellently stocked bar, friendly and helpful staff, a surfeit of comfy chairs near HDTVs tuned to the game, an attractive patio with a giant projection screen TV. And did I mention an abundance of young, gorgeous waitresses and barmaids who understand the concept of customer service? But if you hate all those things, stay away from Cigar Masters in New England’s second-largest city.

Great atmosphere here– big comfy chairs and couches, outdoor seating, nice separate bar area. Good selection of scotches and cigars. Friendly bar staff. Some nights they have live music or you can play the juke box which has great selection of music from Sinatra to Afrojack.

I’m a fan is right. Just moved back into the Worcester scene and i think Ive found my new second home. I have been to the Boston location but the fact that this one doesn’t get ULTRA packed every night of the week makes it a cool place to CHILL not just get crammed into like a sardine. HUGE plus of course is you can smoke… inside. at a bar.(or leather chair) in Massachusetts! When November –March Weather comes around again. then this is a must for any smoker. let me just put out the obvious fact that you do not have to leave your drink alone to risk having a roofie slipped into it or chug it quick just to freeze and NOT enjoy that nicotine that … lets face it you are addicted to. ANYWAYS The crowd tends to not be… soo how do you say it. TRASHY here. You will find ladies that really shouldn’t be called ladies judging by what they are wearing, but its really not the norm here. If there isn’t a band, there is a crazy good jukeox that has a wide variety. There is also a back patio that is open during winter as well, because there are tables dedicated to hookah tobacco. Way better in the summer time, but judging on how smoky it can get in here, its also a good way to air out, even in the freezing cold. The mixed drinks are usually pretty solid. The cocktail menu has fruity and girly drinks Ive never seen before, but the martinis and of COURSE the whiskey is where its AT. You can find all the top shelf stuff, brandy, Cognac, whiskey and bourbon of course. I would come here to feel the place out on Thursday. Thursday gets busy, definitely but not until much later. Even on Fri/Sat it doesn’t get crazy till about 10 or 11. Ladies, let me just say the bathrooms are actually a lot cleaner than MOST in Worcester. they also give you Q-tips in there. strange right? The dark wood and dim lighting I really think has given this place a nice cozy and relaxing feel… one like you would expect smoking a fine Cuban in your home library in the country… ha! There is no real dress code, but if you arrive in Jeans and sneaker, you will definitely feel under-dressed. Just a word to the wise. Oh and if you happen to like mixed drinks, this place really does make the best cape codder in Worcester. So get one, go there and love it up!
