I was really sad to hear that Mi Reyna has closed as it was a great restaurant. I went there one time for tapas and I was hugely impressed by the food. I hope the owners and the chef don’t take the closure as an indication of the food quality. I’ve seen a couple great restaurants fail at this exact location. I don’t think the location is very conducive for a restaurant. The building is easy to get to only from one location and is in between a bunch of gas stations. It’s also far enough from the hospital/med school across the street that they won’t provide much business. The signage was also retro(old looking) and might have put people off, since Mi Reyna is actually a trendy place! I encourage the chef/owners to try again! The concept and food is great. Just try for a more modern approach and a better location.

Great service, food, and drinks. Ramon is as fantastic as all the other reviews indicate. The menu is a nice change of pace — original and delicious.

Omg I can’t get enough. Ramon is a genius and very talented chef. Last night I had the Southwestern chopped salad, grilled shrimp, and the fish tacos. Cleaned my plate and it killed me not to lick the plates afterwards. Kept thinking about it on the drive home and ready to return for a refill. My husband had the Mofungo and Cuban sandwich along with several of Ramon’s delicious drinks. You must get in and have his scrumptious food. Will not be disappointed.

Last night was my second time here, within a two week period. Once again the mofongo was awesome and the Cuban sandwich was good. Cuban sandwich was done with a Mexican twist, egg and pineapple added. It was good. As always, the drinks were killer. Peach, mango, and pomegranate margaritas with habanero, great drinks. Will be back next week.

The food here is amazing. It’s a little pricey for what it is, which is why I knocked a star off, but overall it’s really good. Real mexican/latin food & proper margaritas. Definitely going back.

Just went for lunch with some coworkers and we loved it! The owner was so nice and attentive and the food was amazing. We ordered the short rib nachos, guacamole, onion pizza, steak taco, and chicken quesadilla. There wasn’t one piece of food left over it was so good! Everyone needs to come here.

We ordered a bunch of different tapas, and all of them were great! The onion pizza was my favorite, but I really loved all of them. Will have to be back to try the tequila jelly(tequila you eat!) sometime after work. The service was excellent and it was a nice setup inside. Best of all, it’s cheap, yet the food tastes anything but.

I was looking for a good replacement for Zarape in Marlboro because they’re closed Mondays. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, rice and beans, and a side of guac. The quesadilla was undercooked, they forgot the beans, and my order somehow came to $ 32 on the non-itemized receipt. Will NOT return.

My boyfriend and I were planning on going to a tapas restaurant in Hudson for lunch on a recent Saturday, but as we were pulling up we realized it wouldn’t be open for another couple of hours. I jumped on Unilocal and found Mi Reyna and we headed for Worcester. We drove right by this place – it’s easy to miss. And when we pulled up we were a little put off because the exterior isn’t what we expected and the place was empty. Literally empty, besides the one person working there. But we went for it and I’m so glad we did. The interior is a big contrast from the exterior. It’s nicely decorated with bright colors and the luchador masks on the wall are a fun touch. The service was impeccable. To be fair, we were the only two people there, but our waiter made our drinks and I think he may have also cooked our food. My boyfriend’s mojito was delicious, my sangria was on the wine-y side and I would have liked it a little fruitier, but that’s just personal preference. We ordered the stuffed zucchini, pork ribs, and the fried plantains with chicken. All three were delicious and fresh, but the plantain dish was my favorite. The flavors and textures came together nicely. It’s not particularly spicy, but it does have a «twang» as my non-spice-loving boyfriend put it. And the corn succotash stuffing in the zucchini was really flavorful. We opted for a tres leches cake for dessert and it was on the small side, but I think for $ 4.50 that’s reasonable. It comes in a pool of cream to soak up and I loved every bite. All the dishes were well priced, with most, if not all, under $ 10. The drinks were in the $ 7 – 8 range if I remember right, and they’re worth it, though I think I’d try something something other than the sangria if I were to go back. I hope this place does well and wish them the best! It’s not the best location, but it is a fantastic meal.

On our way home from the Cape and wanted to stop half way for lunch. Found this little place. So glad we did! Amazingly fresh food. Beautiful presentation and warm, friendly service. The plates have generous portions for tapas size and all are under $ 10. We ordered the seasonal guacamole with cucumber, spare rib nachos, pork ribs, arepas and the onion pizza. Fresh sauces served with every dish. I could live off that onion pizza alone! Craft cocktails are around $ 7.50 each and they don’t skip on the alcohol. Open kitchen let’s you see that your food is freshly prepared to order. What a gem! We’ll gladly return.

I love this place. The strawberry jalapeño margarita, lychee Serrano, and watermelon Serrano margarita are all awesome and made with fresh fruit. Seasonal guacamole and fish tacos are delicious! Come with friends! They do have a small parking lot in front and it’s easy to get to even with the construction.

I ate here a few weeks ago. I could not believe how good the food was. We had to order some tapas again just to get our hands on them even though we were stuffed! The fish tacos are a real hit. I liked the creativity in the dishes. It’s not standard TexMex or tapas. More like small dishes of South/Central/Carribbean cuisine. Everything was made fresh and is fantastic quality. The outside of the building could use some spicing up but there is only so much you can do about the location. It looks nice on the inside. I will be coming back many times and expect as more people hear about this place it will get very active.

We visited this place last night, me for the first time. Easily the best margaritas I have had in central ma and the food was absolutely delicious. They were well portioned and all the ingredients were fresh. First we had the lobster ceviche and wow it was fantastic! I had stuffed zucchini which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My boyfriend had fish tacos, which I’m assuming we’re just as good because he wouldn’t share. We also split the grilled avocado and that was amazing as well. Somewhere I plan on visiting over and over again.

We saw this place on Unilocal and the reviews were great. We drove to the location and there was no cars in the parking lot. I usually will not eat at an empty resturant but the reviews we so good that I asked my wife to try it anyhow. We ordered 3 Tapas chicken tacos, short ribs and a steak dish. All the foods were great and very fresh. We will be going back

This was my first time here and it was very good. If you’re looking for a more authentic Mexican meal this is where you should go. Everything was fresh and made to order. Will definitely be coming back. All tapas items ranged from about $ 5 up to $ 11 I believe which were definitely reasonably price. I had the short rib nachos which were delicious but could have used a little more meat, but was only $ 5.50 so I shouldn’t complain :) The steak tacos were delicious, the garlic shrimp was okay but my favorite was the chimichurri steak. Cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor! My fiancé also loved his passion fruit mojito

What a gem. This was our second visit in less than a week. Portions are larger than I’ve experienced at other tapas restaurants and everything that we’ve tried has been excellent. We don’t eat meat or poultry but have no problem finding plenty to eat. This is neither standard TexMex nor tapas but a unique mix of South and Central American cuisine that benefits from Ramon’s travels. It is the fruition of a dream that deserves success. Go soon! Beat the crowds.

My wife and I had a great meal, and superb drinks. Everything was just a little different — in a very good way. They’re new, and still trying to get things honed and sharp. I am sure they will… And I hope they don’t lose their authenticity as some gems do as the mature. For now they are a fresh face for Worcester. Well worth trying out!

Had another wonderful dinner last night. The Pisco Sour was delicious. I tried the Mushroom Ceviche, it was full of flavor and full of very fresh herbs and veggies. The Chicken Chimichurri was so good, tender and full of fresh herbs. My friend had the Arepas and the Short rib Nachos and loved them. And, as always, Ramon provided absolutely top-notch service. This is my new favorite place to hang out!

This is the place to go for expertly crafted and delicious margaritas! Ramon balances sweetness with spiciness that is not overpowering in his drinks. The grilled avocado is very unique — smoky, creamy, and bright. The potato and peanut soup is also flavorful and unexpectedly good! Who can go wrong with the chef’s recommendation — pork ribs served with homemade salsa! I will have to be back to try more! Do not forget the grapefruit tequila jelly for dessert, too!
