Incredible area, the seemingly endless and vast woods are beautiful. The trails are amazing and full of information along the paths. Fun for the whole family, and the walking trails are free to the public! There is a little play area for the youngest to the oldest members of your party. The trails run along a residential area, so it is not uncommon to wander off into somebody’s backyard, however the people are extremely friendly and wave and say«hello» to you. There are no bathrooms along the paths, so keep that in mind upon your visit here. Definitely coming back again!

I’ve had 2 birthday parties here and 2 different experiences, The naturalist that led the first birthday party was kind of rude and you could tell she wasn’t into it. The activities were not age appropriate and I wasn’t happy with the way she handled things. My son wanted his party here again and I had my doubts, I was worried it was going to be another bad experience. I showed up the day of the party to talk to the naturalist that was going to lead the party(thinking it was going to be the same cranky women) and after talking to a young girl named Cara/Kara(Moth) I was quickly relieved. She did a wonderful job! She made magical binoculars with the kids to bring on their hike. We walked down to the brook and looked under rocks. On our adventure we found bugs, spotted a butterfly and more! We went to the playground after and she ran around playing tag with the kids. I can’t tell you how impressed I was! This was one of the best birthday parties we’ve had, we will be back again! Thank you Moth!

Was here this morning with my daughter and her preschool class. We had a great time. The staff took us on an hour long hike keeping the kids involved and interested throughout our tour. Fun for all, we had a great time getting one with nature. With such a large and noisy group, we didn’t see any animals unfortunately. Would definitely come back with my daughter and spend some more time exploring the grounds.

We love this spot for kid friendly hiking and just had our son’s birthday party there yesterday. It was a lot of fun for the kids and grown ups. Cheryl led great activities and a short hike that were age and attention appropriate. They also let guests borrow plates and silverware from the center. If you want a disposable experience where they are churning out 10 children’s parties a day for $ 350 each – do NOT go here!
