simple blah bakery goods. if need something close by and just need to fix a crave. Have been 5 times and disappointed every time.

Delicious freshly baked bread for a reasonable price. All of their pastries and cakes look absolutely amazing. I’ve only tried the éclair so far, but it was divine. Support an awesome local business and drop in!

I was in here to buy something for boyfriend’s family. Because I didn’t have that much cash and it’s a cash only business, I didn’t have too many options. Besides, who wants to pay $ 40 for a tiny cake? So, I bought a platter of chocolate chip cookies which were reasonably priced and I also wanted some pumpkin shaped sugar cookies. I asked the counter girl for the pumpkin cookies on the top shelf. I didn’t get them however. I got the pumpkin cookies on the second shelf whose faces looked like they got run over. I didn’t notice that the counter girl put the wrong ones in the bag until after I left.
The cookies tasted good though despite their poor appearance. Hopefully, they didn’t frighten the children too much.
I’m still willing to try this bakery again. Still recommend that they let you pay in credit. Do people really pay for expensive wedding cakes in cash? That seems shady.

I lived in Worcester until 2006 when I graduated from Clark. To be honest, there were no restaurants or bakeries in the area that ever grabbed me… except for Giovanni’s. Every time I go to an Italian bakery, I always get a cannoli. And every time, it fails to match up to Giovanni’s. Quite simply, he has the best cannoli I’ve ever had, and it is probably my favorite single food item of all time. The cheese filling was so good, that I would regularly (and at one point daily) buy 2 pounds of just the cheese filling and eat it with a spoon. I long debated offering him a $ 1,000 for the recipe on the signed condition that I never sell it, because I don’t live there anymore and probably won’t taste anything that heavenly for the rest of my life. However, I never worked up the courage. I went there about 2 years ago with my wife, and it was just as good as I remember. If you have the opportunity to eat here (and eat the cannoli here), don’t waste it!

Unlike some reviewers, I haven’t gone here for a custom cake, so I thought I’d weigh in on some of the more every day items!
My dad always goes to Giovanni’s for cookies and pies– thy’ve never disappointed! We like to get a variety of their Italian cookies to bring to dinners we get invited too– and everyone finds one or two the like– and mixing and matching is a good option.
It’s really our go-​to place– I’d recommend it for more than just cakes!

Ordered our wedding cake from here and it was nothing like we wanted. We sent him a picture, he told us he would make it exactly and he made it so tacky! Worst mistake for our wedding. Cake tasted good but if you want a modern cake, dont come here.

A friend got her wedding cake from Giovanni’s. It was by far the best cake I have ever eaten. Extremely moist and flavorful. Thankfully she gave me extra to bring home, it was eaten before we made it back. Looking forward to trying other items.
Just an update — we loved their wedding cake so much I ordered a sheet for my husband’s birthday and it was just as amazing! Thank you!

Everything here is amazing. Giovanni made our wedding cake, not only was it delicious, but it was a work of art. We received compliments all night on the cake. Giovanni was easy to work with, we told him what we wanted and he delivered.

Best cannoli I’ve ever had. Nothing fancy and not a billion flavors, a la Wholly Cannoli, but simple, creamy goodness. Crunchy shells. Great prices. Perfect.
