Barnes and Noble

Given my recent visit to another B&N, I ws incredibly surprised by what happened here. This store is not large, but it has great customer service. I again went into the store looking for a book on geography. This time, the woman at the CS desk was extremely helpful and I could not have asked fo anyhing more. She looked up what books were on hand there and looked at the titles, to see what would be appropriate and fitting. We visited the children’s section, but the one there was a bit young. Another that we found was much closer to what I was looking for, but quite expensive. Tess, was incredibly helpful and stayed with me on this search for at least 15 minutes. THAT reminded me of years ago when bookstores were all over the place and had employees that CARED! When I do get this book, it will be at this store and I plan on going there more often, even though it is MUCH further away than the other B&N. GREAT job!

I can come here and grab a Starbucks coffee and sit for hours reading. Lots of comfy seating and free wifi. Only complaint, I can’t use my Starbucks card here. What! Why not?

I pull into the parking lot and smile. I feel the tingle even before I get out of my car. Ohhh the music, being surrounded by hard covers, paperbacks, magazines and the smell of a bookstore just makes my senses go wild! Damn! I love to read!!! I could spend all hours of the day looking at all the fictional stories, real life experiences, the cookbooks, the endless How To’s and What For’s. There are little chairs on the ends of the aisles, window seats for anyone to sit a spell and read through their favorite story.
The staff are always helpful and friendly and never have a nose up in the air like some bookstores. I absolutely adore the bargain aisle cause I can NEVER pass on a sale. It opens my eyes up to different authors I would never think of trying. Like a sampling of some entrees your would never try otherwise.
They have a great kids section also and have storytime for pre-​schoolers! How great is that? Another section of booklights, bookmarks and calendars, trinket gifts for the reader and great gifts at Christmas. Every magazine you can think of is present and let’s not forget the coffee and pastry shop… Yummmmmy
