The appearance doesn’t do this place justice! They look like any old pizza joint but then you get pizza and wings and your opinion is immediately changed! The wings are friend and have sauce on the side so they are crispy when you get them home and the pizza has the perfect balance of sauce and cheese! Yum!

We’d rather drive to Ray’s for a pie or a slice than have some other shop deliver our pizza.

Ray’s is your super-typical South Jersey pizza joint. From first glance, it looks very similar to the Woodstown Joe’s inside, but it’s not as clean. Two guys were on the job and didn’t lower their booming Spanish music when I walked in. It remained empty of other patrons throughout my visit yesterday. Ambiance aside, I was most concerned with the pizza slice. I ordered two plus an Italian hoagie. While the pizza was good, it wasn’t stellar. Considering Joe’s and Ciconte’s are both nearby and pump out killer pies, there’s no reason for me to stop in again. I was also super bummed with the hoagie. Boring, flappy meat, tasteless cheese, and thick, stale bread. They need to up their hoagie game. Oh, and my grand total for 2 normal sized slices and a sad hoagie? $ 12.50. Not worth the price. I’m glad to have finally experienced the place, but it’s unlikely I’ll return.

First of all the service was very fast. Cheesesteak was unbelievably good hot and full of cheese and meat. The pizza had a great crispy white crust. The fries were cooked very crispy as requested.

5 stars for the many photos of famous Rays on the wall. What a subtle humorous gesture! Pizza ain’t bad either and it’s cheap. I get a slice and then stroll over to Latteria for ice cream.

The food wasn’t terrible, and I rarely write Unilocal reviews, but I had to as soon as I left here because the atmosphere here was miserable. Since two men came in and went behind the counter and«toasted» the woman with soda, I’ll assume this was the owner’s wife and childrent that were there creating a very obnoxious and uncomfortable dining experience. Before anyone jumps on me about this, I fully understand that kids will be kids and I don’t expect them to be silent and act like mini adults. That being said, I also don’t expect them to throw toys under our table repeatedly and crawl under after them and push and pull our legs and make us contort until they find what they want. Repeatedly. Not once, not twice, but three times. While the mother laughs at them and acts as if this is normal behavior. I also don’t expect them to run full speed past the tables screaming at the top of their lungs. Again, constantly. With no apology from the mother and no consideration for the fact that this is a dining establishment I am paying to eat at. I truly don’t expect perfection from children. I expect noise, I expect moving around, I expect playing. I don’t expect to be bounced into and afraid if I’m not looking I’ll either step on a child or have a child knock into me. This is on the mother and the owner. You can have a business and you can have children, but don’t expect to allow your children to harass the customers and have the customers come back, and expect bad reviews. I don’t know if this was a fluke, and I’ll never come back to find out.

We found this place by using Unilocal,we saw it had great reviews so we decided to pop in. All I can say is, wow… the pizza was wonderful, they made everything fresh, pan fried the chicken, kneaded the dough, the whole nine yards. We loved our pie and the guy at the counter, who also made the pie, was very friendly, funny, and generally welcoming in every way. He asked how we made our wY in since it is a bit far off the beaten path, and we said we were out of town, on the road, and found it online. I will definitely come back here again, and would recommend this restaurant in a minute to anyone!

Ordered some pizza and fries. Fries were yummy, and pizza is pretty good. My total bill came to 9.36 for two plain slices of pizza and an order of fries which seemed really expensive to me(and I did not order a drink). I ordered this same order once before and was charged a similar price but thought maybe they just rung up my order incorrectly.

I’ve eaten here for 20 years. The son has taken over. Pizza steaks are the best. Italian hoagie is good but probably not the best. I think the pizza has gone down-hill in the least year or so. I used to really like it but the crust seems thinner and somehow the overall flavor does not seem as good. I won’t get pizza here again. Ambiance is typical for this kind of place. Service is decent. There are usually flies in the place during the summer. This is a big turn-off.

For a pizza place it’s fantastic! The staff is very nice and pleasant. I go there with my wife and daughter and they go out of there way to treat my daughter who is 3 nice. They cut her slice into small strips for her to enjoy! The pizza, pasta. Calzones and sandwiches are fantastic. I recommend this place to everyone!

Looked for a pizza place last minute and relied on good olé’ Unilocal.Found Ray’s and I have to say I was pleasantly pleased! Drove there to pick it up and I was happy I did! The guy behind the counter was pleasantly amusing and joking around. The girl at the counter couldn’t look like she wanted to be there any less… $ 15 for a 2 topping pizza — kinda pricey but well worth it. Like the other reviews… delicious! Got pepperoni and sausage and ended up eating 4 slices. Thin crust and nicely crispy. Good sauce with bits of tomato. Will be back again!

Finally someone is making a decent pie in Swedesboro. I always have a good experience here. No matter how busy the place is I can always expect my food to be ready in about 10 minutes.

Best pizza in Woolwich, best cheesesteak, best overall pizza shop. Comes closest to Aldo’s in NE Philly I grew up on. Order here almost every week.
