I’m scared of this place. Its deliciously good and I’m afraid it could effect my waistline if I’m not careful. The lattes & chai here are awesome. I work a block away & when that craving kicks in I have to resist the urge to go down there & get some yummy afternoon pick me up drink. Gingerbread latte, omg, yum. Walked into a business meeting with one, coworkers wanted to know what smelled so good. Breakfast sandwiches made fresh. Lots of gluten free & paleo treats. Gfree muffins available. Pass on getting coffee at pie in the sky, walk 3 buildings down to as we call it «coffee O»

This was a wonderful find in Wood’s Hole. The cappuccino was prepared expertly by the barista and the bagel was fresh and delicious. There is no bicycle parking but there were utility poles and traffic signs to lock up the bike. Only two of our group of 30 stopped here because the other place in the sky had plenty of bike racks. I have tried both coffee shops on this block and Coffee Obsession is second to none.

Best coffee in Woods Hole. The staff is friendly, there plenty seating and generally a no pressure environment.

Just by the name I could not wait to get my coffee! I ordered a café au lait(medium brew) it was OK. A bit watery. Would try it again but not running to go back. No brewed flavors either(flavored beans).

Love the iced coffee and location. Today however the service was horrible(rude) and the trash was overflowed all over the place.

Obsessed. Really, there is no other way to describe my love of this coffee and shop. I enjoyed every minute of my visit at Coffee Obsession, from getting great flavored coffee and excellent service to sitting in a comfortable atmosphere to sharing my thoughts in the individual sound booth. Yes – a sound booth. It looks similar to a telephone booth from the outside, but is a mini-recording booth on the inside. I have never seen anything like this! I ordered a Mexican mocha latte and took in this unique and simply fantastic coffee shop while it was being made. I spotted the sound booth, grabbed my latte after taking a perfect first sip. I hopped into the booth, slid the door shut, sat down on the bench, and read the question prompted before sharing my thoughts. A pair of headphones for you to listen to yourself speak and a recorder that keeps streaming all day complete the booth, which is decorated with quotes and signs and pictures. The question of the day is posted on a print out taped to the side of the booth. I answered the question prompted that day and added my reasoning, feeling I was really heard. A sign near the headphones said answers may be played on a radio station or online radio stream! After I finished recording, I sat down at one of the tables in the main seating area near the booth and enjoyed my coffee. The coffee is very high quality, and the baristas blend it well with the flavors offered. The Mexican mocha latte was excellent, tasting equal parts coffee and chocolate, with a little something extra. It was really a great treat and unlike any other mocha I have had. The baristas were very hard-working and knew what they were doing. They made the drinks efficiently and handled the steady stream of people coming into the shop really well. The barista who made my drink made it perfectly, and the other barista chatted with me(at a calm time in the shop) about the beans, describing how the beans are imported from Colorado and suggesting some drinks to try based on what I liked. He was extremely kind and helpful! The only downside of Coffee Obsession, if there really is any, is that there are many choices for flavors and combinations. They have your essential coffee drinks and plain drink as well as flavored lattes and teas. It can be slightly confusing and hard to pick unless you know what to order when you go in; however, the baristas will likely be able to help you select a drink that satisfies your coffee craving and tastebuds.(There is also a sign above the register with the beverage options give the ingredients, from flavor to type of coffee, to help you understand what each drink is crafted with.) Additionally, the flavors in the flavored coffee drinks are stronger than I have had elsewhere. You can taste the coffee, but the flavoring – like the chocolate in my mocha – is very prominent, which some may not like. Once you try one of the flavored coffee drinks though, I bet you will really like it! Coffee Obsession is definitely a shop to stop at – to get a delicious cup of coffee and wonderful service as well as to let your thoughts and stories be heard in the sound booth! Take that latte in and share your perspective. Like coffee beans, each person is an individual; you should share your personal views to share your unique taste!

This location is conveniently located in Woods Hole within walking distance of my work. I love their dark iced coffees and they are not bad price wise. The people who work there are very knowledgeable about the products they serve and I am always happy to see their smiling faces when I pickup my hot or iced coffee. It’s also a great place to get away from work and clear your head while enjoying a nice beverage. I would try to get there before the lunch rush because all the folks in school will bombard this place, because of their popularity, so time your arrival wisely otherwise you will wait in line several minutes in front of other Coffee Obsession enthusiasts.

Here for a conference, spent most of my mornings studying here. Great place, nice tables, good drinks and food selection, free wifi, nice people. Great find! Much better than pie in the sky(the only other coffee shop here).

I can guarantee that the coffee is yummy, the mini-quiches are deliciously silky & light, and the scones are very short(as proper scones should be) and un-muffin-like. Pie-in-the-Sky might have a cuter name, but all things considered, Coffee Obsession wins out in my book!

Just the kind of place you wish was more common, if you love coffee and cafes. Excellent selection of drinks, seriously made, with great results. Cute seating area. Thank goodness it’s open off-season!

A great latte and a great vibe. What a treat to find good espresso on the cape finally. The whole space is relaxed, friendly and clearly meant to be a real hangout. Kudos to the owners and the great staff that waited on us.

Stellar service and excellent coffee. You can usually count on any place that remains open year-round in Woods Hole, and Coffee O delivers. Comfy, large seating area both indoor and out. Can’t ask for much more in a coffee shop… …except a white chocolate mocha on the menu would be nice for those«sweet tooth» mornings.

This is a weird review for me to write. Coffee O is one of those defining places of your growing up years for me. I turned 21 living just down the bike path, and visited here nearly every day that summer. I wrote my first research paper at their tables, made some of my favorite friends, and went on a few sweet coffee dates too. Delicious coffee and steamers aside(vanilla! yes!), this place has a great home-y, comfortable vibe. Plan on hanging out a while if you can, even if it’s just for the people watching.

Nice little coffee shop in Woods Hole. As other reviewers have mentioned, it definitely has a homey local coffee shop feel. There is a great mix of seating options — small tables for coffee dates, large tables for working on projects, and couches, armchairs, and window seats for curling up with a good book. There are several books and boardgames that customers can use — so if you come empty handed fear not! I had a hot chocolate which was cheap(less than $ 2) and delicious. Props on the range of hot chocolate options. This shop is a quick walk to the ferry terminal. I highly recommend it if you are in Woods Hole for a weekend, or just passing through.

Lots of Space, Local Hang Out, Local Art Available… This is a great place for meeting with friends, except for the fact that there drink selections don’t make me think they are ACTUALLY obsessed with coffee. My Americano was SUPER weak… barely drinkable… It was like half coffee half water. It wasn’t even cheap. :( I’d probably give it one more go since the atmosphere was cozy and friendly.

This is supposed to be an internet café, but a number of times(the last time — today) I had an unpleasant surprise: no WiFi connection. When I asked a sales clerk to help me — perhaps to re-set the router, superficially he was polite & told me that nothing he can do. Perhaps, but it was clear from the way he said it that he did not care at all. This is typical, and several more people had similar experience. A nearby Pie-In-the-Sky has a more reliable connection, and also better fare — their popovers are incredible.

I go to this coffee shop almost every day. They have some interesting coffees there, but I’ve never had anything but the house and the medium roast. They don’t sell house made food which would be awesome, but they do have some pretty awesome pastries. The coffee is great, but be careful if you ask for«just a little bit of cream» since they will give you ½ coffee and ½ cream, but maybe I’m just picky. Luckily I started drinking my coffee black and that hasn’t been a problem since. The patio is lots of fun to sit on during the summer and tourist watch. It’s also hilarious to count how many parking tickets get written while you’re sitting there. It’s a surprisingly high number for so few parking spots within the area. Protip: Park in the 15 minute zone. It doesn’t actually mean 15 minutes.

Better Chi Tea than Pie in the Sky down the street. I like their 10 cent chocolate balls at the counter. Lots of space for computer work.
