I find it utterly freaking ridiculous that I came to your movies to celebrate my birthday with my husband and because I did not want to purchase any drink or water for 4 dollars since I have gotten put out of the movie. Why does it seem to be a issue everytime I come to this damn place. As much money as I spend here with my children and my husband and I’m talk 100’s just on food damn near alone the one time I come to sit and enjoy a relaxing movie with my husband your freaking serve Kristen goes to tell Jeff your manager that I don’t want anything an I get put out. After spending money on just tickets alone why should people be forced to purchase drink or food. What if I did not have the money to. On top of that you manager has no form of customer service etiquette because he was sarcastic as ever. This it again totally unacceptable and will be notes all 9n social media and my blog on how you treat your customers. Now what once was my mommy and me time with my boys will be moved to another theaters that has the same services. I can tell you one thing Studio Grill does not have this and neither does seven bridges. I will be patiently waiting your response to this so.

It’s when you have an issue that a company really stands out! I received 2 screening passes from Sony Screening for the movie Risen on Jan 28th at Hollywood Blvd in Woodridge, IL. I arrived 20 minutes early to find out they had to turn away 180 people — now that’s overselling beyond! Sony needs to re-word their screening pass system as I usually get waitlisted, so you would think«first come first served» means choice of seat. I have since received 2 more waitlist offers, so it truly is an issue with Sony’s wording. But because it was at Hollywood Blvd and they employ someone with exceptional customer service skills as Dana, she made the situation right. I had invited a friend who drove a long way to meet me only to find out we were not able to see the show. I didn’t tell Hollywood Blvd, but this friend had looked forward to experiencing Hollywood Blvd for the first time as well as the show as her son goes to movies at Hollywood Blvd all the time. When Dana offered passes to see Risen in the future to make up for our inconvenience, she reassured me, a long time customer as well as providing a tremendous first time impression for my friend! Way to go Hollywood Blvd and Dana! This Hollywood Blvd deserves exceptional rating! Great experience and look forward to many more in the future! Thank You Kathy Treanor

This is the place to see a movie! Since it opened Hollywood Boulevard has upgraded it’s lobby with more room to wait for your movie to start seating. My only complaint is the very unorganized line to get in. Everyone just jams into an area in a make shift line and as soon as your movie is called, people from all directions start pressing into the line to get it. A bit crazy and at times can upset folks that stood in a line for 20 minutes just to get cut in front of by someone else. Food is the usual play on classic movie names like«A Fish Called Wanda» sandwich, or the«Lord of the Rings» Onion Rings. It’s the usual standard bar type food, but still better than other cinemas. Besides the bar food, they still have the standard popcorn and candy concessions. Also a full service bar so you can enjoy a drink while you wait and then again while you are watching your show. The seating … love it! No sitting in those cramped stadium style seats here, oh now! Here you get a high back leather executive desk style chair that moves around and leans back for comfort. In front of you is a tall bar for your food and drink. Further down are sets of round tables with the same chairs for parties of 4 or more to sit together. There is a small(very small) museum of film collectibles that you can visit after your movies to the back of the location. Also, there are replicas of the cement hand prints in Hollywood of various stars in the waiting area. As for cost … to be honest, you aren’t really going to save money. The cost of tickets and food is about the same as if you went to a standard cinema and dinner out, but the upgrade to the chairs and seating is worth in my book.

IGNORANTEMPLOYEES. They need to learn how to sit handicap people SPECIALLY if the handicap seats are already taken by people who are NOT handicap… THEEND!

I am not one to even go out to the movies very often, but this is usually my go-to location. I think since their expansion, I have been here no more than a handful of times. Their drinks are still good, with specials running throughout the week. The food has gone down in quality, but yet the prices have remained the same. Instead of crunchy and tasty waffle fries, I received soggy, standard cut fries. The steak sandwich was very tough, and was served to me on a hamburger bun, which fell apart almost immediately. Thankfully, the Grinch Dip(spinach, garlic, cheese, and artichoke dip served with bread and chips) was still as fabulous as ever. I guess I just assumed that with their expansion and remodel, it would also alleviate the giant bottleneck that would form at the entrance to the actual theaters. Truth is, it has only caused it to grow worse. Perhaps a more interactive crown dispersion technique needs to be in place. Plus the new chairs inside the theater are not quite as comfortable. All told, since I’m a big fan of the all-in-one date night, of course I’ll keep coming back.

Saw Ride Along 2 last night as #datenight. Waiting in line was to be expected. Posting the movie titles for current seating was a nice touch that kept commotion down, I suppose. The wait staff/kitchen seem to have trained really well. They were super accommodating and the theatre was clean. I was shocked that they didn’t serve waffle fries anymore. Great night! My honey enjoyed himself and is eager to return. For his first visit, he was impressed by the overall concept of dinner, drinks and a movie in one place. It reminded him of the Drive-In days!

Just watched the new Star Wars movie… The good is good and service is great. I’m not too sure about the seats. They make me feel like I have a hunchback. Not too comfortable but then again all seats in movie theaters aren’t so comfortable. Overall I will come back to have great time with family and friends.

A movie and restaurant may sound nice, but it can also be distracting. The chairs were office chairs with wheels which were uncomfortable. Also, servers coming to take orders and serve food takes away from the movie and gets distracting. The food is too pricey! Be aware each person is required to get something unless the item is considered ‘shareable’. the customer service was awesome, and the place had different themes for each theater and a nice lobby. There’s also a little museum and a bunch of throwbacks of old movies

My family loves coming here. We started coming here when it first opened and there was smoking allowed in the lobby(even though we are non-smokers). It’s close to home and love the fact that we can eat there. Since the management change, the plus side is that service has improved and so have the chairs which were LONG overdue for a change. The down side is the changes on the menu. The crab rangoons were my wife’s favorite, and the are no longer available. Also, they now have crinkle fries instead of the awesome waffle fries. It still isn’t enough to deter us from going back time and again.

This is a quirky cinema, full of Hollywood posters and classic movie memorabilia, with the potential to be a pretty fun(if somewhat cheesy) place to see a movie. The seating is on rows of office chairs with a long table in front of you for your food. Optimally, you get there a bit early to look at the restaurant-style menu and order your food so that the food comes out as the movie is beginning. I thought we might be distracted throughout the movie by people ordering food or servers bringing checks but I was pleasantly surprised — I barely noticed it once the movie started. I thought the screen and audio quality was good. Here are the things I really disliked about my experience at the theater though, and the reasons that I will not return. 1) The food was awful. Truly. All of the options are greasy and the food isn’t even good, nor did it come the way I ordered. I was too distracted by the movie to care much, but the food was so bad I didn’t even finish it, and I wish I hadn’t paid for it and that I had just brought some snacks in my purse. Almost comically, when my boyfriend ordered us a second round of beers, the server brought them and picked up my still at least half-full first beer and whisked it away. 2) If you’re using a Groupon, be aware that it is not valid for the first week of any movie. It’s in the fine print. None of the 4 movies we were interested in seeing were able to be purchased with our Groupon. We ended up paying cash for a movie and getting our Groupon refunded. So much for saving money. 3) The customer service was pretty abysmal. For such a «fun» looking place, the employees with whom we interacted looked quite miserable. Not one smile from anyone, we had to ask how the system worked as far as getting into our movie(they only seat for certain movies at a time) and the ticketing cashier seemed annoyed to answer any questions. The guy who took our tickets mumbled at us where to go and made a vague gesture ahead. On the plus side, our server was very nice. If you don’t mind greasy overpriced food or the apathy of most of the employees, maybe give it a shot, if just to see the place because the decorations are pretty unique. Otherwise, skip it. I won’t be back.

I just wrote a review of a nearby theater that I enjoy when I’m not in the mood for dinner and a movie at the same time where they have reserved pre-purchased tickets where you are in comfortable reclining chairs. Now to a review of the place I go when I like to have lunch/dinner with a movie(the ultimate two birds with one stone experience). This location has new menus(no more Crab Rangoon, darn, they had good ones!), they take your order on tablets(which really speeds up delivery time) and better chairs. The themed rooms are fun and the whole experience puts into perspective what a fun movie-going experience can be. Good sight lines of the screen and the servers really hustle.

I have gone here for numerous screenings but I felt this time I should make a review. The place is very classy and much nicer since the renovations which now include a sushi bar. I need to try it out sometime. The staff is usually very nice and always on top of things. The food is nothing amazing but it’s good. The theaters themselves seem top notch and sometimes are even decorated to big premiers. Such as the new Star Wars film! The drinks are good. I recommend trying any specials they have. All in all its a fun movie going experience. Will definitely re-visit again. Though I typically save it for special movie screenings. Can get kinda pricey.

I think I may have had my last experience here unfortunately. I love the idea of this place however the execution the last few times has been pretty horrible and this past weekend was the kicker. Things I understand going to this place: — Our movie will be slightly interrupted by servers etc. — My husband hates the computer chairs, so I will have to deal with him being annoyed — Food is most likely going to give you a stomach ache since everything is fried and there are no healthy options Things I can deal with but I still don’t like: — People being seated 15 minutes into the movie, thus ordering 15 minutes late, thus their food coming out 15 minutes later — The middle of the theater chairs need to be replaced; the ones on the outskirts are much more comfortable since they aren’t used as much Things that were the last straw for me: — The food runners handing us other people’s food and drinks to pass down to them. Seriously?!? I wouldn’t want other people touching my food if I were them plus you are interrupting me when you shouldn’t be! — When our movie is quiet we can hear two other movies from the theaters next to us — Walking into the movie we see a server picking her teeth with her ID badge — Hearing the servers laugh and chit chat in the back of the theater during the movie Things I like: — The Vanilla Almond Martini & Lewis — The sundaes; they actually give you a good amount of ice cream for only $ 4.50 — Almost always get a BOGO ticket offer for your next visit — The décor & how each theater is decorated differently I think the bad outweighs the good here don’t you? Sorry Hollywood Blvd, even though you are only a hop, skip & a jump away from my abode, I will be going elsewhere for my movie going experiences.

Finally returned to Hollywood Blvd to give it another try since the transition to new ownership. We decided to see THG: Mockingjay Part 2 this past weekend thanks to free movie passes due to our experience last time. I started off with a lime daiquiri which was okay, but it tasted like they put sweet and sour mix in it instead of real lime and sugar. I still enjoyed my drink, but others may have found it too sour. Getting a good seat was easy-had to switch chairs due to one of them not adjusting correctly, but easy fix. Ok here’s the really good news: they can still make the Linda Blair pizza even though it’s not on the menu! I think there was only a dollar increase in price between having this one made and getting a pizza off the menu. Dare I say this chicken, spinach, and artichoke pizza tastes better than it used to?!? I think it just might! Our server was great and was attentive. I did notice some other server mix-ups with a few people sitting around me, but it was fixed before the movie really got going. Overall, it was a good experience and now I won’t feel too uneasy returning.

I had a great time here. We came to see Magic Mike XXL(5 stars all the way) and celebrate my friends birthday. We were in an Egyptian themed theater and I really appreciated all the little details. It made a fun night out even more interesting. My only issue was that it was 2hrs before my friends actual birthday and they would not give her the free birthday sundae that they advertise. We just bought her one anyway obviously. But… How. Dare. They. Not that I won’t be back, I mean rules are rules.

This place is really cool and a must visit ! It has a little museum in the back of costumes from older movies like from the Wizard of Oz. the floor looks like a street and the walls are covered with movie pics. Sometimes the people at the ticket booth dont tell you how it works, you have to wait out front till you hear your Movie called then get in line and hand them your ticket. The chairs in the theaters are like big padded office chairs, Very comfy! And u have a small ledge In front of you to eat on. They have very good food. The spinach dip is great and so is the pizza. Its a better idea to go during the week bc its not as crowded, you get the seats you want and your food comes faster. Only thing is the waiter comes around to ask if you are ok, which is great, but sometimes they come at a bD time and u miss what just happened in the movie. It happened to me… I know but that in no way defers me from going back each time.

Met up here with a group of friends to see a movie recently. Place is unique with the«Hollywood» feel and the fact you can order a full meal while watching a movie. Just could not get used to eating a meal and sitting at a table(instead of a plush chair, stadium style) while watching the movie. Also having to work with the waiters in the dark was a bit hard to negotiate. All in all an interesting experience.

Good place to go watch a movie in a group, not the ideal theatre if you are expecting a quiet setting and good lighting. Menu is fine, basically ordering fast food. Theatre is a little brighter then most places so waiters can navigate, which effects the projection a little. Small complaints but for the price of a ticket and the being able to order drinks makes up for it.

After moving away a year ago we hardly ever go to movies anymore because we miss Hollywood Blvd! We came here all the time, with their great return passes and birthday passes, and their excellent theming and yummy food. There is no theatre in Colorado Springs remotely like this and we miss it so much!

Oh yeah… Chicagoland’s version of the Alamo Drafthouse. Only it’s way better than the Drafthouse! The décor in this place is amazing and the museum area with the movie memorabilia is way cool. Several bars in the main lobby area makes waiting for the movie painless. So…booze and real food at the movies is cool. I still can’t watch a movie without a huge tub of super buttery popcorn and Hollywood Blvd does not disappoint. Popcorn is perfect with just the right amount of butter. I’ve also ordered the crab rangoons & some creatively named pizza, all very tasty. I’ve been here a number of times. The individual theaters each have a theme. Two I recall are Casablanca and the Wizard of Oz complete with witch’s shoes sticking out from under the house. Super fun! Service is always good. No major disruptions when ordering or receiving food. I highly recommend coming here for the décor/ambiance alone. The theaters are so creative. Seats are super comfy, too. It’s definitely an experience… a good one.
