Ya know I love good BBQ !! Hitting the road today and traveling with those weirdo vegetarian friends of mine so I better get some meat before I pick them up a the airport! Right. Well hell ya! Walked in and he menu isn’t the easiest mostly due to the large selection of MEAT!!! my friends would have to eat potatoes and there napkins but me — I got choices! Chicken, pork, beef, ribs, ribs and more ribs! Did I say ribs! I gobbled up the pork sandwich special and am super satisfied !! Stuck with the original BBQ sauce and it’s delicious! the sweet and hot were temping !! I’ll remember this meal for a few days while I’m eating carrots, hummus and granola… I’ve been to dicky’s a few times and overall it’s a good place to eat! Bring the family !!

ribs made my family sick!(maybe they have stock in pepto bismal) AVOIDTHERIBS! There meat is greasy, and the first time i went I was really starving, so ate a bunch of it, then sat up all night saying WTF did I do? Felt like a bit of stomach rape, and I found myself in the shower all night saying«why» over and over.(lol, jk. im kinda exaggerating the shower scene) But my stomach was not happy! The 2nd time i went i decided not to eat as much. The ribs were dry, and a bit burnt. The first bite of ribs kinda turned my stomach from grease –so i thought-, so I only ate about 2 ribs, then ate other stuff. My wife ate everything except the ribs. She hates there ribs. My kids ate about ¼ of a rib each, they are only 5, and 7 years old. But by the time they ate that much, they were complaining of yucky tummies, and my 7 year old said it felt like someone punched her in the stomach! We spent the night coddling our children, and hugging the pepto!(THANKSDICK! E) As a father, Im pissed! There clearly treating there food poorly! Hopefully nobody gets seriously ill here! Side note: The manager has a power trip, and clearly doesn’t run the kitchen right(i.e. getting sick) The establishment is too small for dine in, unless you like eating 5 ft from the line. Ive been here twice, and sick each time. My wife avoided the ribs, and the pepto! So I think its the greasy, old ribs! Waste of 60+ bucks(family meal) and a waste of space! I think I might open a rib joint next door call it Richards Ribs! … hmm. food for thought.

Standing here waiting for an order that we placed online. Supposed to be ready by 4:31. Walked in: two people in line at counter, two persons waiting for their orders. ONEEMPLOYEE… ONE! Nobody in the back working. How? How is this poor girl working by herself? Where are the owners??? If someone called out, they should be here to ensure their business doesn’t suffer. This girl is kicking butt. Still smiling somehow. She needs a promotion, raise, recognition of her excellence. I’m extremely disappointed in the overall situation though. Note to the owners: You’re business isn’t going to last if this continues. 4:57, still waiting with no sign of our order.

The food itself was fine when we dined in, but we made the mistake of ordering a Family Pack to-go for a big group this weekend. What a disaster! We called in the order at 3pm for a 6pm pick up. They ran out of one of the meats, so we had to substitute something else, then the guy dropped all of our hot rolls on the floor so we had to wait another 10 – 15 minutes while they baked new ones, they left out one of our sides completely, and then they included the Caesar dressing but no salad! We didn’t realize the mistake until we got home and by that point we were already late! I will never order catering from them again.

Great food! While they don’t have great seating, we usually order online to go anyways. Some of the best meats are: Pulled Pork Ribs Spicy Cheddar Sausage Beef Brisket Some of the best sides are: Waffle IronFries Onion Tanglers Baked Potato Casserole Mac N Cheese Green Beans Every time we come here, the food is great! My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich.

Love, love. Love this place! While visiting Texas we first ate at Dickey’s they are the best, and I was so excited to happen upon this one on Woodland. They truly take their bbq serious. Everything is smoked fresh everyday. We had the brisket, it was amazing, of course. They have lots of sides, and free self serve ice cream. The manager was very personable. It’s nice when you go out to eat when people are happy to see you, and really care that your satisfied. If you love bbq I would highly recommend Dickey’s you won’t be dissapointed.

The ribs(which were heated by the micro because I heard the«bing») were dry, and were a disgrace, the chicken and the spicy sausage were cold. The jalapeño beans had no jalapeños or no jalapeño flavor. I will not be back!

Hubby ordered pulled pork and brisket with fried okra and waffle fries. I ordered pulled pork and spicy sausage. Kids all ordered kids’ sandwich and waffle fries. Plusses: Clean restaurant. Good service. Great food. Nice variety of standard BBQ joint meats and sides on menu. Meat cooked perfectly. Kids eat FREE on Sundays and All-you-can-eat soft-serve vanilla ice cream anytime. Minuses: Service from order to pick up was slow. Cramped dining space(minimal seating). Waffle fries and onion rings — while cooked just right — were extremely salty. Don’t know if you can ask them to adjust this upon ordering, but I will definitely ask beforehand next time. Because there will be a next time.

First time coming here. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Just one bad thing: their ribs are a bit on the salty side

So after reading the other reviews, I was very iffy on coming, but we had a BOGO coupon for a meal, so we tried it. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich, so not sure if they were out of other meats as other people complained about. The«big barbecue» sandwich was not big if that’s what you are looking for. I can’t imagine what the size of the smaller one would be. Meat was good. Only customer service issue was with the first guy you order from; no personality, no smile, seemed impatient and angry, like he perhaps wanted to cause me bodily harm. :/Everyone else was fine, and the girl at the register was nice. Sides were good. In all, not as bad as I feared, but there is no way I’d pay $ 20+ for what we got, especially since it seems like we were such a bother to the first guy we interacted with.

We arrived at 12:30, and the wait line was 15 minutes. We ordered 2BBQ sandwiches,($ 5.95 each which consisted of 4oz of meat along with 2 pickles and 2 white onion slices) a kids meal($ 5.95, 2 – 3 oz of meat along with 2 pickles, 2 white onion slices and a small roll) and a smokehouse salad($ 7.95, romaine lettuce with chopped BBQ brisket, shredded cheddar, fried onion tanglers & ranch dressing). We asked to substitute the beef brisket for chicken and they said no problem. It was ok, they seemed a bit disorganized, they had to get to go to go utensils from the back, as well as lids for the to go BBQ cups. They also had to get ice cream cones to refill the dispenser next to the free vanilla ice cream. I won a $ 50 gift card for this place so I decided to use it today. I think it’s reasonable but nothing great. 3 out of 5 stars.

After waiting in line for 20 minutes I was informed that they were out of half there meats at 6:30 on a Saturday. They need to put a sign up to inform people what they are out of!

I am only giving 2 stars and its purely for the food. Granted they just opened so maybe they’re getting the kinks worked out but the service is just about the worse I have experienced. We’ve been twice, both times awful employees who are not well trained. Another reviewer mentioned the person helping them seemed stoned. That is exactly the best way to describe everyone there. I too had to repeat my order literally 5 times to each person down the line. And that was after I was peering over the counter and noticed them screwing it up. Plus, they were out of fries(indicated that they had been for 2 days), ice and two different meats when we went in. The salad I ordered the first time was literally the size of a side salad. They forgot the cheese and it was almost 8 bucks. Ridiculous The only redeeming quality is the food. It is tasty and never had a problem with it(granted my order wasn’t screwed up or the meat I wanted was actually available). Everything else is no good. Service, price, and cramped seating. Too bad there’s not a good BBQ place in Woodland. Ludy’s food is horrible and service is sub-par, at best

My fiancé and I thought we would give Dickey’s a try today. The wait wasn’t too long and the employees were friendly. The food was disappointing, though. We tried the chicken breast, green beans with bacon, macaroni and cheese, and the rolls. The rolls were the best part of the meal. The chicken was okay, the green beans had a weird taste and had maybe five little pieces of bacon, and the mac n cheese tasted like Kraft mac n cheese. The meal was overpriced for what it was. We were going to grab some ice cream before we left but they were out of cones and the area where the ice cream machine is was really messy, so we couldn’t even get a bowl to go. The owners were sitting outside chit chatting on the patio instead of helping out in the restaurant. We won’t be going back.

Terrible customer service. Guy 1 welcomes you and never looks at you. Guy 2 was super slow, never asks what you want. We were there at 4:30, no fries, no mac n cheese… Food was decent, nothing amazing. We will stick to Ludy’s.

Was passing through Woodland and decided to stop in for some ribs and they were delicious! Line was definitely long but moved at a good pace. Didn’t note any issues as mentioned by the others. may be just a bad batch. I have no complaints.
