Some people like to use wall paper to cover a wall. Gus’s Liquor likes to use nudie magazines. I mean, like an absence amount of them. The amount you would start to question the place’s desire to just have some in case the customer is in the mood to let one out along side the over priced booze they’re selling you to levels of questionable obsession.
The wall of Vodka. I’m not sure if it intimidates people. I don’t really know what I like in terms of Vodka. I’ve gotten so used to infusing it with flavors myself that I take just about any. But it seems to be a well stocked amount of vodka up there. Enough to make one really take a long look inside themselves as to what will be the choice of poison.
I think the third star was nailed when they had four New Belgium beers. Skinny Dip, Ranger, Mothership Wit and Fat Tire. That alone sold me that this place, while really strange with its porn fetish, has some decent taste in beer.
They were closing up right when we walked in but they stayed open for us long enough to get some quick beer run (being the still sober one) and locked up. Pretty nice of them. Then again, it was an extra sale for them. So why not.

Used to like this place, until some employee stole my credit card numbers and started charging up a storm. Well, lucky i have online banking and caught this asshole on the second day. I hope he goes to jail. NEVER use a credit card there… in fact, NEVER go there. Sorry GUS, you screwed up. I used to spend (roughly) $ 1000+ there a year cuz it was around the corner.
Oh well, your loss. I will just go to 7 – 11 down the street now.
