Hit and miss. Most of the time, it’s a miss. The food is inconsistent. Even their pad Thai is a disappointment most of the time. I am glad that there’s a lot of new Thai restaurants that just opened in the area. Time for this place to wake up and raise the bar.

This has been a go to place of mine for the past 10 years! Great people, service, food and pricing is fair. Authentic Thai food.

Love this place. The only thai restaurant with real crab fried rice. We love it. Also love the spices used in the dishes. They have a pretty atmosphere with lights and statues. They have ornaments hanging from the ceiling. Fast and friendly service.

I have ordered takeout from Little Orchids several times over the past few years. I have found the food to be quite ordinary. Nonetheless, I decided to give them another try after seeing their attractively designed new menu. The family who run the place are nice people, but their food remains so-so. Pad See Yu was extremely sweet, with lots of thin noodles covering a few small shrimp. Mixed mushrooms with beef was steeped in a dark liquid. The wonton soup was OK. There are many Thai and Vietnamese places in the West Valley. Nearby, Café Orient is much better. Thai Ginger, on Sherman Way near Shoup, is my favorite. Also on Sherman Way, Phở 21 has great food at very reasonable prices. Bale Valley, on De Soto just north of Sherman Way, is another good choice. Next time, I’ll drive a little further.

Went in for a quick lunch and ordered pad thai w/chicken… enjoyed the flavor and the overall portion was good, but where is the chicken folks? Granted there were a few pieces mixed in, but I was pretty disappointed in what was presented. Maybe I’m just guilty of comparing it to my high school days at this same establishment back when the prices were cheaper, there was more«meat on the bone» and even included a couple shrimp or two thrown on top with a spring of cilantro… hmmm, now that I think about it where was my cilantro! lol Had to give it a try and it was nothing to get excited about, I have found much better closer to home. Beautiful décor by the way, place looks great… but I’ll take quality food over a flat screen TV in this case.

Little orchids is right down the street from my boyfriends place so we literally walk here and get some exercise before devouring a bunch of Thai food. The tom yum soup is great. It’s definitely more sour than I’m used to, but I loved it. I love sour soups and the more sour, the better. We tried a eggplant basil dish which was delicious and the beef larb was spectacular. Usually beef larb is served with cabbage, but they serve it with lettuce. I’m not sure if that makes a difference to people, but I didn’t see one. It still tasted really good. I have yet to try any curries because we usually come here on Sunday’s or Mondays and cheat day is on Saturday… But one day I will. The customer service here is very mom and pop so be prepared to be best friends with the owner. If you’re lucky, you might even get service from his adorable daughter who is about 6 years old and gives checks, clears tables, and answers the phone.

After reading the reviews, I was afraid to go but time was running out as it was getting very late. We decided to try this place anyway and boy am I glad I did… food is absolutely fabulous!!! I know what great Thai food taste like and this place is great. Definitely coming back… we had garlic noodles and green curry. Also very reasonably priced!!!

I love this place I don’t care about the bad reviews and to not come back because their daughter was there is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I always come here and never had an issue. This is a family owned and run establishment and that’s exactly how they treat you, like you are their family. I’ve had my order taken by their daughter on several occasions and it’s the sweetest thing ever. She gets the tips she serves as well. Too cute! The food is always amazing here as well. I’ve never had a bad plate. And eggs are still considered vegetarian… people are ridiculous. On many occasions they have sat me or others before closing which a lot of places don’t!

We were indecisive about dinner last night so we looked at a bunch of delivery options in Woodland Hills. After quite a bit of deliberation, we settled on Little Orchids. I was pleasantly surprised! I called and a little girl answered. At first I thought that I had called the wrong place so I responded«Err. hello? Is this Little Orchids?» And she responded that it was and just to hold on for a second lol a man then came on the line and took our order. The whole process through the delivery(Free delivery) had a family-owned vibe to it. We ordered the Pad Thai, and the Rad Nah. Oh my goodness! The portions were huge! And delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly for both. And the all white meat chicken was tender and moist. I was really impressed.

My sister and brother-in-law have been eating at Little Orchids for many years. They dine-in and get delivery. On several occasions I have joined them and have never been disappointed. On my last visit we had them deliver and all 3 of us were completely happy with every dish: green curry, Pad Thai, spring rolls, and spicy basil chicken. Every dish is one I have eaten at other Thai restaurants, and these all compared extremely well. I would not have changed a thing, or whished for anything… other than more! The owner is very friendly and met us up at the top of Topanga to deliver our dinner because my sister lives at the far end of the canyon. He didn’t have to do that. Delicious. Great left-overs. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been coming to this Thai restaurant since I was in elementary school with my mom. Sam and his family are great, the food is the best !! My favorite is the seafood curry! This is my favorite Thai restaurant!

Something to be said for a place in this location to be doing so well. It’s stuff back in there. I liked it but it didn’t blow my mind. Pad thai was good. I’m kinda picky so my opinion is strict.

Terrible!!! I ordered chicken cashew. They didn’t use bell peppers and used peas. it was a orange creamy sauce. I love Thai and this was the worst ever. not to mention their child was sleeping in the chairs.

Everything was over sauced and to sweet. The chef continuously came out of the kitchen and was yelling at the man behind the counter. We had to ask for basics, tables were not set.

Not my favorite Thai restaurant but it’s decent for a place that’s near my house. I don’t like the parking because you need to park on the metered street. They do have a small parking lot in back of the restaurant but it has extra small spaces. We came on a Friday around 5:30 and there was no one in the restaurant so it was either a good thing that we missed the crowd or a bad thing where it’s not that great of a place. We started off with the Papaya Salad and it was good, light and refreshing. Then the Chicken Larb, I liked it because it had lettuce, it’s usually served with cabbage but it’s just a hard vegetable to chew. Then the Pad See Eu. Definitely my favorite dish, it love the thin clear noodles. It was cooked perfectly because I can not stand soggy noodles. The combination of all the ingredients were delicious. I will definitely go here again.

Not sure when Little Orchids changed owners, but yuck! Quite possibly the worst meal I have ever attempted to eat and paid for. We left 95% of the food behind. Everything was overly sweet and completely lacking in the complexity of flavors one expects when ordering Thai. It was though everything was swimming in corn syrup and salt.

We had a pretty good outing here. The Thai iced-tea is super tasty, and the Koong tempura was really good. One negative… the guy didn’t break down my bills presumably so that he’d get a fat tip… bad move, dude. Luckily we made change… this time.

I’m giving this place one star for at least having okay Pad Se Ew. Do not go here if you are used to real good authentic traditional Thai food. Also — refrain from using cash when paying the bill at the end. The Asian man(the owner) did not bring me my change until I asked him for my receipt and change. You’ll wait forever(unless they read this review and realize that we are not dumb) because he“ll be refilling up a soy sauce bottle instead(all the while he’s hopping around all over the place) and then when asked to bring me my receipt he played it off as if he forgot! Go elsewhere.

Food is mediocre at best… Service is terrible. I think the waiter was the owner? Male asian guy, his daughter(6yr old) was sitting alone on a table(cute). We wouldnt finish our questions or ordering more b4 he would walk away… Its a shame because I’ve heard this used to be great in the 90s… Will not return or recommend this place.
