I found this place on groupon and came here with my friends on a Friday night. I must say I really love the ambiance, food and service. My friends and I had a great time sitting on the patio enjoying life music kinda reminded me of my trip to Spain:) I definitely will have my birthday here!!!

I would have loved to give this place more stars, the food alone is amazing!!! The times for being open are wrong not only on Unilocal but on their door as well. The service… is so awful. There was one waiter for 5 couples. It wasn’t even busy and yet to get a glass of water took 10 mins and it took 45 mins to get the check after asking for it. The short ribs are soooooooooooo tasty. The garlic fries that aren’t fries are really chips are the best I have ever had. The lamb however was just okay. For the price I wasn’t too happy. If the service and the lamb were better I would probably eat there every weekend and tell many friends. I however can’t tell many people about this place bc if I could never make someone wait forever. Fix the service I want to come back and tell many friends to try it!

I had a great time at this specific Grill. Have been to the other one but the ambiance and the music was off the hook. The food was just an icing on the cake. Great service and a lot of fun. Wasn’t a big fan of Argentinian food until I went to this place and tried a couple of great entrees here.

I know why they closed. Food was less than ok and the one and only time I went, they didn’t have anything on the menu available.

One of the worst restaurants i have been in Los Angeles. They have no idea what they are doing. They are definitely not Argentinian. Not a single dish was prepared the right way. Terrible quality meat and cheese. Couldn’t pay me to eat there again That’s all folks.

GORGEOUS décor which I could go on about for days but you really just have to see it. Very friendly(and cute) waitresses, attentive and thoughtful servers, and a positively delightful Maître d’ who pops through to check up on everything from time to time. But the true star, as you would hope it would be, is the food. Not cheap, but for the exceptional quality and quantity(particularly with a Groupon deal like I had) this place is really quite affordable. No exaggeration, probably the best food I’ve eaten all year. Even the bread with a little bowl of Olive Oil half full of shredded olives was worth writing home about. I don’t know how else to describe the cuisine, except exceptionally exceptional. Compliments to the chef, and the nice serving gals who refilled my sprite like five times and gave me two helpings of bread, you are the best! :D

ehhhhhhhhhh. My entrée sucked, but the Caprese salad was fresh, visually impressive and delicious. The service was just Ok, nothing memorable or special. I can’t stand the booth set up. It’s the type where you feel like you are miles away from your table and you have to scoot to the edge just to reach your food. I hate that. About my entrée, I got the Merluza Gorgonzola. It was the mushiest(is that a word?) fish I have ever had, the sauce was pretty good but the whole plate was just mush. On the menu, it says they recommend it with Mashed Potoatoes so I got that since I figured they knew best. Adding Mashed Potatoes to an already really mushy fish should not be recommended. Bleh. I didn’t like paying $ 15 for something that was so texturally challenging to eat. My boyfriend got some big hunk of meat, sorry, I forget what it was. He said it was good but seemed expensive for what it was. The lemonade was really good though. Yum! If I come back again, I would probably get the Gnocchi because I am a gnocchi freak and I guess they have it homemade, the only way I want it. :D

I keep going back, I love this place. The best time to go is before rush time, hence 4-pm for dinner, 2 pm on weekends. I love the waiter Arial, he is very nice, easy to order with and funny.

Horrible… DONOTCOMETOTHISPLACE! There are flies all over the restaurant even inside. When we first arrived, we took the first table on the left against the glass window, but moved since there were FIVE big flies everywhere. then moved to the next table, also flies but not as big and as many. As we were seated, we told the server about the flies so she then took a napkin and started hitting the flies infront of us. One fly ended up dead on top of my friends hat. REALLY? I couldn not believe it! Our male server was very rude and very aggressive. We asked for bread and it came burnt, who serves burnt bread to paying customers. I have been to this place before, it strongly believe that they are not of the same owner. He kept on asking if we wanted appetizer, I repeatedly told him no 5 times and he kept on asking. Why? The food we ordered were steak medium rare, of course we got it well done. They have no idea what they are doing here. I told the server about my meat and he was questioning«is it not soft enough», so I said, softness is fine but it is OVERCOOKED! the meat tasted«OLD» and the plate looked very unappetizing. I purchased groupon and I always use groupon and know what I need to do when it comes to tipping. The bill comes and the server INTERRUPTED me with my converation with my friend because he needed to explain the bill. I told him I know that I need to tip on the total amount before the groupon. He stood there and looked at me like a mad man. The food was not good so I had left over to take home to my dog, I asked for TWO to go box, one for the steak and one for the rice, the server tells me to use one box and make it fit… REALLY? After this experience, I was so embarassed for taking my friend to this awful place. NEVEREVERAGAIN! Please beware! I should have read others post before going to this place…

Very disappointed. We use to love this place. We have not been there for over a year. When we got to the restaurant we saw some kind of sign in Persian. I told my husband that the restaurant may have been sold, however we also saw the Old sign so proceeded to go in. I asked what looked like the owner /manager if this was the Argentine Restaurant and he said yes absolutely. We set down and started our selection. The menu was different so we ask our waiter if they had the traditional meet dish we always got there. She had no clue what we were talking about. I also found out that the restaurant was Sold about a year ago. That explains it. From here on it went downhill. Our food was inedible, we originally asked our meet to be medium rare and it came RAW including all the vegetables even after we asked them to cook it a little more. Portion was very, very small. 10 minutes after being in the restaurant they turned on a very loud Persian music that was played throughout our dinner with little chance to talk. We love Persian food and the music, but that night we went for Argentinian food to an Argentinian Restaurant. I am confused. Here is my advise, if you want Persian food and music go there, however I am not sure how good the food will be. If you want Argentinian Food, Please go somewhere else. Save yourself from a bad experience. Truly one of the worst dinner I have had for a long time. Cream of Spinach was the only one good dish we had.

Early Saturday dinner … figured it would be laid back and pleasurable. Wrong. 1) Pressured to order ASAP 2) Out of several items on the menu … who runs out of roasted potatoes at 630 when you open at 4? 3) Servers and managers were running around and yelling at each other like the place was packed … and it wasn’t. Issues. If not for the groupon, would have left. Weak.

Came here with a large party, restaurant staff members are total amateurs and have no idea how to serve people. We literally had to beg for them to bring us plates and forks. After all, the owner refused to accept coupon promotion and trew in my face that he gave us 2 free pitchers of sangria. Oh thank you so much!!! It almost got ugly. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Owner has no intentions to make a customer happy and make a good impression on his place.

I miss the old ownership! Have been here a number of times before under the old ownership and it was great. Under the new ownership, recipes must have changed and prices have gotten higher. I used a Groupon and came in at 6pm on a weekday. Wanted to order empanadas and only 2 of the 6+ choices were available. Strike 1. Then proceeded to order the Parilla de Entrana(skirt steak) which I have loved in the past. Was told they did not have their Provencal Fries and was offered regular fries… but 5 minutes later, was told no regular fries either. I see the First Street steak sauce on the table, couldn’t someone have run across the street to Smart & Final and gotten a sack of potatoes? Strike 2. The skirt steak then came out and it wasn’t medium… it was well done already. Had to take it off the parilla so that it would not get cooked any more. Strike 3. After giving my Groupon and getting the bill back, they had only taken off $ 20 instead of the $ 40 the Groupon was worth. Strike 4!!! Wait, a second, I thought you are only allowed 3 strikes? The bill was later fixed. Sad to know that a place I used to frequent on a monthly basis will now be deleted from my line up. I hope ownership sees this and can instill some of the magic of what this restaurant used to be.

When you walk in a restaurant and there is one table eating, it could be alarming. We stayed and ordered and was not disappointed. Even though they were out of empanada, we had a good meal. The steak and salmon was flavorful. The rice was above par. The bread was very good. The décor wasn’t as good as the food was. Service was good and quick.

Wow this place is just amazing! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It was definitely the best dining experience I’ve ever had in the valley. I see this place all the time and pass by it all the time on my way home. They have a great outdoor patio area, and it’s the perfect date night place. I came here on a Friday evening during the summer, and this outdoor area is a great place because how they set it up is absolutely amazing. We ordered two plates, Parilla Completa and Parilla Buenos Aires. These are definitely meant for sharing as the portions are fairly large a little pricey; expect to pay $ 40-$ 50 per dish. This place is definitely more for those special occasions. The meat was just absolutely amazing; it was so tender, juicy, and flavorful that I’ve never had a meat so delectable. Each dish comes with 2 side dishes, and we opted for the mashed potatoes and Spanish rice. The service was also absolutely amazing as I don’t remember his name, but he was amazing(I want to say Ralph). He was very enthusiastic and made sure we were enjoying our dinner and had everything we needed from the food to water. He was always there and very attentive. Parking is a little hard to come by since there’s not that much street parking, so if you’re going for dinner, there’s a parking lot about 2 businesses over for you to park.

I’ve been here a couple of times over the years. I really have to say, I like it a lot! The food tastes great, the ambiance is nice(I love the garden setting), and the service is nice(especially when they find out you’re Persian) They can get pretty busy and forgetful, but tell them in Farsi and you’ll get it faster: D. Parking is street and it’s doable. Their prices are a bit on the high side for dinner, but their lunch deals seem good. I plan to go back again.

This place was a lot of fun. We had this hyper waiter who was very friendly and attentive. I loved the food, I had this giant cheese platter– antipasto– mostly cheese– but delicious! I had the white fish with the Gorgonzola sauce– very rich! tasty! My aunt had the breaded filet– I think she would have liked to have had something else… I think the filet part mislead her. I would definitely come back here– it’s a fun local restaurant right on Ventura

This place was worth a try. Not bad at all. Bf took me here for dinner about a month ago after hearing about it through his friend. We shared the Parrilla de Entraña(whole piece of Entraña Skirt Steak approx. 33 oz. served on a table top grill). It came with a choice of a side which we opted for the Provenzal Garlic & Parsley Fries. The dish can be easily shared by two. It was pretty good. We ordered it Medium(bf usually likes medium rare, I usually like medium well so we had to compromise to getting it medium since we were sharing) and was still a bit on the bloody side for me. :X Anyway, it was pretty tender and juicy. But in general, I’m not really a fan of skirt steaks because of its consistency and texture of the meat. Fries were delicious though! ;) Overall, the ambience of the restaurant was nice, waiter was friendly and prompt. There is outdoor seating which looked nice but we opted to sit inside(which was freezing cold, feels like they had the a/c blasting!). There’s valet parking or street parking.

It was my wife’s Bday weekend and found that I have never taken her to this place. She was craving for steak, and this place fit the bill on one of the birthday weekend stops. Our server Ario was great and gave us a few suggestions. We decided on Parrilla Tango which is a Filet Mignon skewer, Australian Lamb Chops, Entraña Skirt Steak, and Argentine Sausage served on a table top grill. This is from their grill menu. The meat was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and went down smooth, along with the sangria that my wife ordered. The portions were huge, from the lamb chops, the Argentine sausage, to the Entrana skirt steak. We we bursting with the amount of food that we had. Despite bursting at the seams in meat goodness, the desserts were too good to pass up. We decided on the Panqueques Argentinos which are Argentine pastry crepes filled with Dulce de Leche(Special Milk Caramel) topped with a touch of chocolate syrup and caramelized sugar. Add Vanilla Ice Cream. It is as good as it sounds. Savory goodness. The wife and I destroyed this as we were finishing it off with a fresh Argentinian coffee. The décor was as good as the music. The staff was great, especially Ario. He made sure that we were well taken care of. Great place, great food, great times!

This place has been on my list to try for sometime now so one night my friend and I decided to give it a go and boy were we glad we did! The seafood platter to start was out of this world… every morsel was bursting with flavor! We ordered the skirt steak and it was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is really nice and they have tons of outdoor seating along with private cabanas in the back. Great for a party or big celebration. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because the valet people are thieves!!! They stole $ 10 out of my car! Its was a test i sometimes do and they FAILED! Because of that i won’t be coming back. BEWAREOFVALET!
