I love this food. I no longer live in SoCal, but whenever I come into town, I have to come here. My favorite is the Vegetarian Panini. It sweet and savory and spicy. If you get here on Thursday or Friday, you can get the best Cream of Mushroom or Tomato soups ever! I love the beef Somosas! Even the veggie Somosas are good. And it’s in a Gas Station!!! Too bad they close before dinner time.

They are located inside the chevron gas station. They make really good breakfast, breakfast burritos, sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches come with a small side of either macaroni salad, potato salad or salad. The onsite staff is really nice and hardworking. It works best if you call in and place your order. I believe they are only open Monday through Saturday’s. I work right behind the gas station and it is so convenient that they are so close and nearby the gas station and Starbucks. I personally like the tuna sandwich or breakfast burrito(no meat) add avocado.

I go here for lunch twice a month. Food is good. I always get beef and veggie samosas and paninis. But this place needs some customer service training. The girl taking the orders and payments asked me if I wanted a separate bag for my food. Honestly, I could not understand what she was saying because of her accent. She asked me a few times, but I honestly could not understand her. I just repeated my order nicely. Then she snapped at me and said«I know! Do you want a separate bag!» loudly. Oh and that’s in front of her coworkers. Be nice to your customers, please.

Was honestly just looking for a quick cheeseburger as Corina had a left over wrap from dinner last night. All I found on Ventura Blvd was a stinking McDonalds and I just don’t eat there. So I went up Canoga and found this place. I was in a hurry and hungry so I ordered a roast beef panini that had to be over priced. It turns out it came with a small side of cold slaw and a pickle spear. Neither tasted very good, but the sandwich was fine.

I had this yesterday for the first time. It was good. Pretty basic sandwich. For a gas station sandwich shop I thought it was decent. I feel $ 10 for a sandwich and small cup of macaroni salad was steep. It wasn’t a mind blowing sandwich but it was not bad either. Clean, great service, and a good variety. I might go back.

Update: I asked for just a side of eggs. The menu says $.75 per egg. Yet when I placed my order I was told they cannot sell me just a plain egg omelet, even though they have it on their menu. Downgrading to 2 stars. Not bad. I bought a breakfast here, their vegetable omelet. It came with 2 eggs, spinach, onions, mushrooms, 1 slice of toast and a McDonald’s type of hash brown. Cost me about $ 8.50. For that price, I would expect to see double the eggs. I asked for 6 eggs in my omelet, but they said they didn’t have a pan large enough to accommodate my request. Weird. Parking is a nightmare here in the morning. It’s located in a super busy Chevron gas station where there is also a Starbucks, Dry Cleaners and of course the Gas station customers going in and out. Eh, glad I tried it, but not sure if I’m stoked about coming back either. My gym offers a vegetable omelet along with 4 eggs and beef for the same price. I’ll try that next time instead.

Mixed review. First I must say super yummy sandwiches, seriously! BUT! Prices are high, $ 8.49 for a turkey panini with small side of potato or macaroni salad. And next, sadly, one of the ladies who work behind the counter really needs a refresher in customer service. She doesn’t greet anyone, or even smile. I asked her for bags instead of styrofoam boxes for my sandwiches and she was visibly exasperated, even tossing said box across the counter. Yikes. :/I left feeling i owed her an apology for something, although I’m not sure why…

Trying to place a phone order for pick up, but they pick up the phone and put the phone down. I hear them walking around in the background. We have been trying to get a hold of them for about 30min. We have a big order(over $ 300), but I guess they don’t want our business. I work at the Warner plaza and I will let everyone know in my building not to go there anymore.

I tried the Tossed Cobb Salad. The size was really good for the price and it left me full. It wasn’t anything special(just chopped up sliced deli meat), but it was good enough that I might go back to try some other stuff. The location is a little weird since it’s in the back of the convenience store at a gas station, but everything is clean so it didn’t concern me too much. I wish they had more outdoor seating so I could have ate my lunch there. Overall, I’d say this is good spot to grab some decent(non-fast food) food if you’re in a rush.

Update: Management never responded to my negative experience. I am reducing my rating from two stars(because the food was all right) to one star for total disengagement on the part of management. Beware a business that ignores customer complaints on Unilocal,in person, or in any forum. I am not at all a serial down-voter – this is one of the few times I have had such a negative experience with a business. I will absolutely consider raising my rating and amending my review if a representative of this business is kind enough to get in touch. Thank you in advance.

Decent enough quick-stop opportunity to grab lunch around the corner from where I work, located inside the food mart at the corner gas station… and more importantly, where I get lottery tickets from. I purchased a cobb salad, which had lettuce, sliced egg, avocado and turkey meat. It could have also had bleu cheese and bacon bits, but I don’t like those. I asked for ranch dressing, but upon tasting it, it was terrible. It was worse than store bought… don’t know what it was, but ranch, it wasn’t. They also make paninis here, but I haven’t tried them. I suppose I should know better than to rely upon a gas station quick-stop shop for salad. The salad itself was adequate once I put my own dressing on it that I keep at my office. If I get their salad again, I won’t be so quick to accept their dressing.

it’s surprisingly great. i like the chicken breast and blue artichoke panini. the samosas are pretty tasty, as well. Tip: their business card doubles as one of those buy 10 sandwiches get 1 free stamp card thing.

Once upon a time there was a Chevron station at the corner of Oxnard and Canoga. Inside the station there is a sandwich shop. Every day this panini sandwich shop has a Daily Special as well as home made Samosas. Coincidence? Random? You betcha! This little gem is walking distance from my office. I usually get a soup and a sandwich or a samosa or two. Everything is AWESOME. Sandwiches are $ 8 with a side and everything is way tasty. I’ve had the Pork Rib Panini special as well as many other menu items, and of course, the samosas… you only need one, these things are rich and tasty! There is a Starbucks right next door with patio tables in the shade with a lovely view of BofA and TGI Friday’s across the street, but it beats eating in your car. The station has lots of goodies too including some real nice imported chocolates and candies… totally random but eclectic and cool for a corner gas station. If you need to fill your tank, and your belly, go no further — it’s one a one stop fuel-up spot for your ride and you. And they speak Hindi(or is it Urdu?)

Conveniently located near work. The sandwiches are good, but just as everyone else has mentioned, they are kinda pricey. I’ve tried the salads here too. They’re decent. I think the sandwiches would be a better choice though. My favorite is the turkey club sandwich.

Decent paninis although a bit overpriced in my opinion… especially considering the place is inside a the food mart of a gas station.

Incredible. Gas station sandwich shop is actually clean, tasty, and even expensive. At $ 8 a sandwich, this is a pretty tasty sandwich shop. Not your ordinary deli, this is pretty good stuff with grilled paninis and ciabatta bread. The cole slaw, potato salad, etc. that comes with the sandwich is pretty solid too.

I’d say 3.5 instead of 4 stars. The sandwiches they offer are pretty good! Only wish they were on the cheaper, maybe $ 5−6ish. What I’ve tried so far: Chicken Breast Blue & Artichoke $ 7.59 Sliced Chicken Breast, Artichoke, Blue and Provolone Cheeses, Sliced Tomatoes, Shaved Red Onions & Chipotle Pesto Southwest Panini $ 7.59 Sliced Chicken Breast, Jack Cheese, Sliced Tomatoes, Roasted Red Peppers & Chipotle Pesto. Turkey, Sprouts & Avocado $ 7.59 Sliced Turkey Breast, Tomatoes, Alfalfa Sprouts & Sliced Avocado with Chipotle Pesto. ***4 stars for the Samosas*** The definite winner here are the SAMOSAS!!! I’ve never really noticed them but they’re right next to the cash register. The reason I knew they served them was thru my coworkers, they agreed they were good so I decided to try them out and for $ 1, who wouldn’t. They offer beef and vegetarian(triangle shaped), but they also have beef and vegetarian Mcpatties(rectangular shaped) that are BAKEDSAMOSAS, which of course cost more. In a rush go ahead and place your order before you get there. Now you can get lunch, coffee and gas in one spot!

I just started working a block from this place. Whats weird is I discovered this place by going to the Food Mart(at the Chevron gas station) in which it is located. I thought it was sketchy having a «restaurant» in a food mart, but i decided to try it anyways. Glad i did. Might be one of the better Panini sandwiches I’ve tried. I got the Southwest Chicken Panini. It comes with two thin chicken pieces, jack cheese, sliced tomatoes, roasted red peppers and southwest sauce… all in between perfectly heated, crispy and soft at the same time panini bread. I asked the lady who works there about what their best sandwich is and she said Turkey and Avocado is their most popular. I’ll try that one next time I go, which will definitely be at least once a week from now on. It’s a big pricey though. Paid like $ 8 for the Panini(and it came with a salad).
