The pizza was just okay but the place was a total dive. Everything was grimy. The chairs were grimy, even the Parmesan cheese shakers were grimy. The bathrooms were horrendous. There were cob webs in the bathrooms. Story about the bathrooms: my husband comes back from the rest room saying the soap dispenser was out. He assumed it was quite a while ago since it was covered in dried and caked on soap. Then we saw an employee go in and come out, so we assumed they were alerted to the problem. Later, my son had to use the rest room. Still no soap. Question: how did the employee wash his hands before returning to work? The place was abandoned. We could see why.

We ordered a 12″ cheese pizza, 16″ rustica and grilled chicken Cesar salad. It was 7:55 on a Tuesday night and they were done with delivery for the night. Okay… we will pick it up. The cheese pizza was good… has a good flavor and the right amount of cheese. The crust could be a little crisper. The rustica pizza was also good, the crust also needed to be crisper. Cesar salad didn’t come with any crotons. Overall it was good pizza that is close to home. Will be ordering from Pimo’s again.

I don’t give out alot of reviews let alone 5 stars… but pretty dang good pizza. had the Mediterranean white and Italian pizza fries. Dough is excellent and the pesto on the pizza was yummy. Delivery was quicker than I thought it’d be.

Amazing pizza. Recently moved to Woodbury a few years ago and found this little gem. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

I walked in at noon on a Friday, just an hour after opening. I was the only customer there. There was one person behind the counter, the owner from what I’m assuming(from the accent). I stood there a good 5 minutes before he acknowledged me, took my order(two slices of pizza to go), then put the slices on a paper plate and slid that into a paper bag(no to-go container, just a greasy plate into a soon-to-be greasy bag). The pizza: it was ok. The pizza was obviously about an hour old, then he stuck it in the pizza oven to warm it up(which then leaves the tell tale black charcoal looking dust on the bottom of your slice-hence your hands). Two slices are $ 5, so it’s a decent deal. You could add a soda for .75 more. However, the main reason I won’t go back, was this place is pretty dirty. Being it was only noon on a weekday, you’d expect the front area to be clean, it wasn’t. The floor was caked with crud. The bottom of every chair in front was stained so bad that it looked they’ve been sitting in water/grease for days just soaking up disgusting crud. This place needs to close down for a week just to clean up!

This place needs to update their hours of service on the Unilocal app. According to the app they are open until 10pm on Wednesday nights. With the information I had I called at 8:30PM and placed an order to pickup. I arrived at about 9:15PM to pick up my order. When I pulled in the lights were off and the door was locked. I looked at the hours on the door and it said they were only open until 9PM. I never got a call or anything and never got my pizza. I called them multiple times to try and get in and get my order, but nothing. All I got was seeing some snickering kid in the back that was obviously ignoring my calls. So unfortunately I wasted my time driving there just to be denied my order. Extremely unprofessional and aggravating.

Their Mediterranean White pizza is so good! It has a pesto sauce instead of the classic tomato sauce which is great, especially with the thinly sliced tomatoes on top! Crust is good, my fiancé loves their meated pizzas as well!

While the food was tasty, the delivery experience was awful. They got the order wrong(we thought) but we’re then told the owner refuses to deliver calzones, even though they charged us for one. After several phone calls and 3 hours later, we hit a calzone delivered, for which they charged us full price. Ridiculous lack of customer focus. Just tell me up front what you will or will not do, or let me adjust my order afterwards. We won’t be ordering again.

I finally found REALPIZZA in MN! I lived in NJ for nearly 20 years before moving out here, and the pizza is one of the main things I’ve truly missed. So, if you’re like me, and you regularly contemplate begging your friends from back east to figure out a way to overnight you a pie, do yourself a favor and just head over here. They even offer pizza by the slice!

We were in Woodbury and remember a friend told us about a place that served single slices. Found out it was not this place but we decided to stop anyway. Owner was serving pizza during lunch. It was one of the better pizzas we have had in a long time. 2 slices 2 sodas, think it was 8 bucks. The crust was great and the pizza was fantastic. One bad thing was that I generally worry when bathrooms aren’t very clean. Sometimes wonder if this carries over to the kitchen. We will take a chance again. Owner was friendly and had good sense of humor. Pleasant surprise! Now we need to find the pizza place that we thought we were going.

Called in an order for pickup tonight. It was amazing! So much flavor and I loved the basil on the pizza(nice touch). I highly recommend«the Tuscany». My whole family loved it. I was traveling to St Paul so they partially baked it for me and I finished baking it when I got home on my pizza stone. It was perfect. If you need your pizza to travel don’t be afraid to ask them to do that for you. It works out nicely. So go out and try the Tuscany. In my opinion you won’t be disappointed.

My husband(a native New Yorker) has been searching for authentic NY style pizza in the Twin Cities for a long time and after reading other reviews, decided it was worth the drive to try out Pino’s. We called ahead and the pizza was ready for pickup in 15 minutes and didn’t disappoint. As other reviewers said, it’s in a strip mall and there’s no ambiance, but the pizza is the right price and the most authentic we’ve come across. Bummed that it’s all the way out in Woodbury(or similarly inconvenient in the StP skyway location), but we thought it was tasty enough to go out of the way for it.

Pros: Great sauce. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Fast food preparation. Cons: Restaurant needs a thorough cleaning. Crust was bland.

Now thats-a-tasty-pizza-pie! I must admit, walking into Pino’s made my nose crinkle a bit, its not ascetically pleasing and feels like it might suck. My friend Kate also had the same reaction. Walking up to the counter and reading the menu didn’t make me feel much better, but we were hungry and were told it would be fast. The place was empty at 5pm and we were on a schedule, so we ordered. You can get pizza by the slice with a soda, but we decided on getting a whole pizza. I cannot remember the name of said pizza, but it had a pesto sauce, olives and lots of awesome cheese. Perhaps it was called the Mediterranean Pizza??? We ordered a 16″(remember, we were hungry) and waited. It only took about 10 – 15 minutes for our pizza to be completed and delivered to our table. We finished our sodas long before the pizza came and the staff was nice enough to refill our cups, even though the soda machine was behind the counter, no free refills. First, let me say, whoa, a 16″ is way bigger than I expected and way more than enough for two hungry girls. Second, holy yummy, Batman! While super greasy(from the awesome cheeses) it was absolutely delicious. The pesto sauce with the cheese and olives was an amazing combination that made my taste buds dance in delight. We finished about half of this large pizza and took the rest home to eat later. If I am ever in Woodbury again, I will certainly come back to Pino’s for a slice(or two).

If you are looking for traditional New York style pizza, this is the place to go! The owner is 100% Italian and knows his business well. They have a variety on the menu to include pizza, salads, pasta… anything you would expect of an Italian Pizza place. The location is hidden in the business park, if you will, off of Woodbury and Valley Creek Rd. It is a neighborhood favorite. They have great prices and usually have some sort of deal going on for the week. I would highly recommend.

Maybe not the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, but it’s definitely good. The owner, who is one-ah nice-ah guy-ah from Italy, is about is friendly as it gets. Takes a lot of pride in what he does, and does it well. Supports the community and other businesses. They have a great lunch special, I think $ 6 for 2 slices and a pop. Not something I crave on a daily basis but definitely a good place to eat. Would recommend.

Definitely a fan. I wish the sauce had a little more savory in it than sweet but definitely a good, solid, all around pizza. It’s neapolitan style pizza. i doubt they make their mozzarella fresh(and i don’t think they claim to) but solid ingredients, better than average crust, overall, good pizza. definitely a fan. why 3 stars? well, it’s not AWESOME pizza but it definitely doesn’t suck. ;) it’s just GOOD.

Working in downtown St Paul we’ve come to know a handful of places where you can get a good value and fast service. pino’s is one of those places. Suffice it to say we were thrilled to find a Pino’s in Woodbury. New york style thin-crust pizza by the slice is their calling card, and you can get two huge slices and a fountain drink for $ 5. Definitely stop into Pino’s. I reccommend the calzones, too.
