I don’t think this location should even get a star! Where do I even start? From the start of my membership something has terribly wrong! I had a gift card from Christmas and I got sucked into a membership from the start thinking it would be nice to get massages monthly and my gift card would go further than just a one time massage! Don’t make the same mistake I did go to a local massage place than this joke! You will get An appointment faster and better service I promise you! I got called by a manager that I was stupid she asked what my education level was because I wasn’t understanding what she was explaining to me! But in the long run after going above her I was right in the long run I did understand everything! I don’t understand though how they have such a hard time putting in requests and explaining the fine details to their customers they I would assume they want to return back? I put my request in cancelling this long year membership in December knowing how they work when my membership didn’t even end until February but now it’s March and nope they still don’t have it recorded in there system that I even put the request in from paper form! JUSTDONTGET A MEMBERSHIP it will save you a whole lot of stress! Never enjoyed a massage because of the front desk problems!!! There a a few people I do like though that are doing a good job at massages!!!

I signed up for 6 months after receiving a gift card. I was very happy with my massage and facial. I would give them a 5 star raiting… but the front desk is just horrible. I give them 1 star. First they couldn’t print my contract. Then I asked for a receipt that i put a tip on my cc for my facialist and massage theropist she never did figure it out I just had to trust her she charged the amount I asked… I later checked my cc statement and she did. I set up my next apps 1 month and a few days out. I get a call 2 days later saying this is a reminder call for you massage tomorrow. I said what? I made it for next month I was just in a cpl days ago… she said sorry for the mix up and«fixed it» I thought that was the end of it. That next day I get a call saying that I missed my appointment and I would be charged for it bc I didn’t cancel. I told them I just spoke with someone yesterday I MADETHEAPPTFORNEXTMONTH. I was just in a few days ago! They did not charge me. But I thought it was really disgraceful of them to call me after the supposed appointment was over, Not 10 mins in and ask if I am still coming like they should have. All in all the theropist are good, front desk sucks. I will not be renewing once my 6 months are up.

The massage was absolutely amazing, very relaxing and the massage therapist seemed genuinely interested in what I needed out of the massage. The reason I give this location a 3⁄5 is because I had a gift card for a 90 minute massage including tax but when it came time to pay they said there was only $ 64 dollars on the gift card and that I needed to pay an additional $ 30. When I asked why it didn’t cover the whole price the woman had no answer for me. The payment process took the relaxation right out of the whole experience. My dad said he paid $ 120 for the giftcard so I’m quite confused as to how it only had $ 64.

Tish does the BEST massages here. She is body smart, gets right to the source and is HEALING. She will read your muscles like a road map, really incredible, and I am very picky with my massage therapists. She worked out my stress and knots right against nerves in small spaces in my mid back. I am a dancer and know how important massage is. Just a side note as well, I’ve only had very positive experiences with the Woodbury Massage Envy! The staff are friendly, and I’m happy with my service.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I had a $ 50 gift card from a friend. First time to Massage Envy. After checking out and paying with my $ 50 gift card, they said somehow it was purchased with my friends points and somehow the points were used off the gift card. They said they would look into how this card was used. A month went by. I was contacted and told I would have to pay for the massage ANDTHEREWASNOTHINGTHEYCOULDDOABOUTIT! REALLY??? They never contacted the person who gave the card to me. I even joined for a year after my first visit. Very poorly handled. They even admitted it was somehow their error. EXTREMELYDISSAPOINTED!!! DONOTJOIN!!!

This is an update of a previous review. The massages are okay. They are not terrible. But you have to sign up for a membership that charges you every month. You have to book your massages and facials ATLEAST two months out because they are constantly booked(I have not been able to use my massages or facials from the last FOUR months). I am coming up on my one year membership anniversary and called to make sure that they do not charge me further. There are a bunch of hoops necessary to cancel your membership. I understand why there has been a class action lawsuit against this place.

My hubby bought me a gift certificate for our 8 year anniversary. I was looking forward to a relaxing massage. However, I think spent most of the hour waiting for her to come in and start. Wasn’t the best massage, but wasn’t the worst. If he buys me another one I wouldn’t turn it down though.

Alright, I’ll start off by being nice and saying I’ve never really had a bad massage here. Thomas is EXCELLENT, but unfortunately I can’t see him because he doesn’t do prenatal massage(will be back once the little one comes along). The quality of massages I’ve received so far is why I’m giving it 3 instead of 2 stars. The management and front desk leave something to be desired, however. I’ve had a few issues with them«accidentally» telling me I have no massage credits left, when I knew for a fact I did. Not sure if this was completely a clerical problem, or if they were just trying to get me to pay for a massage I had technically already paid for. It’s happened 3 times now. I used to have the massage membership, but after finding out they were raising their prices and you can’t carry over massages into the new year(that’s ridiculous, if you ask me), I dropped it. Also, the therapists are somewhat bad at making sure you actually get a 1 hour massage. I wouldn’t count on 1 hour of «hands-on» time, more like 40. Prices are still fairly reasonable, but if it weren’t for Thomas, I probably wouldn’t be back.

Customer service is terrible. I’ve called and left messages with the staff to have the manager call me re: my account and calls are never returned. I’ve checked in and waited in the tranquility room for 20 minutes before I go back out and the staff«forgot» to check me in. Its hard to find a decent massage therapist, so I try different ones each time. When I ask who is good with a deep-tissue massage they say«They all are good» — Well, no they are NOT based on what I’ve experienced there. Do not waste your money or your energy at this place

Cheap massages = cheap service. Massage Envy feels very clinical and does not have any extras to make it a spa experience. You fill out a clipboard when you arrive and sit in the front lobby to await your appointment. No time to undress in a locker room and enjoy a relaxing lounge area prior to your massage. Massage therapists are adequately trained, but do not seem to have the years of experience needed to adjust pressure appropriately to meet the clients’ needs. Unfortunately, my massage room was located next to an exit door, which I heard opening and closing during the entire hour. Not very soothing. Please set aside an extra $ 20 in your piggy bank and drive across the street to Spalon Montage for the ultimate treatment.

To be honest, even though I’ve had a revolving door of massage therapists work on me in the last year, I’ve actually liked the treatments I’ve gotten. I usually request a focused back/shoulder massage because that’s where I’m most effed up, and a monthly treatment does seem to work. That being said, I am not quite sure where the majority of these therapists are trained — but pretty much all of them do this extremely painful and wholly unpleasant neck thing that I hate, and make a point to request not to get.
