There are two sub shops worth going to, Jersey Mikes and Goodcents! Everything at Mike’s is worth eating and I always get mine — Mike’s way, no mato! If you like Philly’s, you definitely have to stop by a Mike’s and try their Philly’s. One of the best! Another, not on the menu sub to get is, the #5 super with the addition of pastrami. Awesome! Stop trying to eat like Jared and start eating at Jersey Mike’s. #knowbeforeyougo

Friendly and fast service. Inexpensive. Quality, fresh ingredients. Delicious subs. Get the #6 roast beef chips and a drink and you’re good to go.

The best fast food sandwiches in Woodbury! The restaurant is always really clean and the staff members are super friendly. I’ve never had a less than outstanding meal here.

Always such a great experience! Customer service always above and beyond. The manager at that location couldn’t be nicer. He is aways so friendly and kind. I brought my special needs daughter in and he was so sweet to her, even offered her a piece of cheese while we ordered our food. The food is great too!

This is my first time at a Jersey Mikes as they are not in South Metro and I was between baseball games at a tournament in Woodbury. I ordered a sub with pepperoni, provolone and other Italian meats. I should have ordered a mini as regular size was too big. The people making sándwiches were friendly. I saw a jar of big pickles. Annoying they werent on menú board and had to ask for price. Biggest complaint is oil and vinegar option. First he pours red wine vinegar then oil seperate. This makes for a messy sub if you are eating elsewhere. Heres a thought how about mixing together in a bottle then giving it a shake as Subway and other sub places do. The provolone tasted fresh unlike erberts and gerberts versión which I substitute for cheddar. I ate half at the ballpark and ate 2nd half later which was a soggy mess that my 11 year old didnt like and bread became wet. I just ate it without the Bread. They may venture to Eagan. I was gonna order the Reuben made to a turkey(Rachel) instead. Maybe I should have.

Having grown up on the Jersey Shore, Jersey Mike’s was always a quick drive away. Once I moved out here though, I noticed a distinct lack of a quality sub. That is until, I found there was a Jersey Mike’s here. You don’t understand how happy this made me. The sub itself was delicious as I expected. Though they should be a little more generous on the meat and toppings as they are in Jersey. It isn’t a Mike’s Sub if I don’t have to unhinge my jaw to get a bite, know what I’m sayin? ;) But otherwise the flavor and excellence was there. I will be back. For my birthday in fact ;D

Tried the philly cheese steak sandwich. It was really good; the cheese was nice and melty, the meat and peppers were yummy, the bun was warm and fresh. Service was very friendly and talkative. It was about $ 10 for a sandwich and medium drink but the ingredients were all good quality and I felt good after eating the sandwich not gross from eating low quality food so it was worth it. No horseradish though– sad face!

Wow, I am surprised that this sub place got it right. We are part of the Metro Dining Club and had a buy 1 get 1 free regular sub sandwich. I got the Philly cheese steak and my girlfriend got their special Jersey sub sandwich. I would have to say I loved both and saved on a sandwich. Plus, they have an email club that you can join as well. Well, I would have to say that Jimmy John’s have better bread. However, this one has a good mix of cold and hot sandwiches:)

This was the 2nd time we have gone to this Jersey Mike’s. The sandwich was really good but the service so was incredibly slow. There were 2 people in front of us who each had only two items and we waited 15 minutes before we were asked what we wanted. Only 1 guy seemed to be doing everything while the other two employees stood around. The sandwich goes straight on the counter which is wiped by the same rag over and over. It just didn’t seem sanitary. I won’t be going back.

Another visit to Jersey Mike’s made me leaving like I was eating nothing too special and it’s because of their lousy bread and lack of quailty. I had the #43(chipotle cheesesteak) and it was not that good. The fact that the bread loses volume and goes flat and also has zero flavor while eating it, makes for a less that stellar sub eating experience. JMs needs a bread overhaul, toast it, depending on the subs, and bring new flavors to the board; a suggestion, start with a good wheat. I am unsure if I am going to make any other visits to JMs in the future.

Big tasty sandwiches. Whole staff was friendly, fast and priced well. The meats were all fresh cut, no shortage of toppings and made well. The hot philly cheese we got with the cold sandwich was also really tasty. we will be back.

You know, I go into a philly cheesesteak with some expectations. Flavor, cheese, and quality of the meat. I found the flavor department lacking, though I do like the fact that they slice it in store. Something just wasn’t all there for me.

Having been to the jersey shore several times and eaten at some very tasty hoagie shops(why«hoagies» instead of «subs», I have no idea), I can say that these subs are authentic. From the chewy and tasty sub bread to the fresh veggies and flavorful«mike’s way» dressing, these sandwiches are good! I only tried their fresh-cooked-this-morning roast beef sandwich, so I can’t speak to the cold cuts, but a coworker tells that they are equally tasty. My only beef(pun intended) is that they need to be slightly more generous with the meat portions. On the jersey shore, most sub shops give you enough meat to make you think twice about eating the sandwich in one meal. I’m sure that there’s a happy medium between these two approaches, so that’s my only critique.

My husband and I love this place! The subs are always fresh and the service is amazing. I like how they slice the meat as you order. Bread is tasty and there are always coupons so it’s reasonable too! It’s the only sandwich shop we will go to in Woodbury.

I go to this shop regularly now as the manager Brian is very friendly and is very upbeat. The deli meats are all sliced to order, right in front of you, every time. The steak and cheese is super good too! Prices are reasonable as well as subs cost around 6 bucks. Some people don’t care too much for the bread here, and I suppose I can say its not the flagship component of the sandwich and that I prefer French bread myself, but you’ll find yourself quickly overlooking that when you get a taste of that absolutely intoxicating«juice» from the oil and vinegar hat really sets this sandwich apart from any other shop in the Twin Cities. You can’t go wrong at Mike’s.

I went to this place with my wife about a month ago because she heard a Jersey Mikes was comming to Woodbury and I have always wanted to try one as they do seem to be a fairly new deal to this part of the midwest. We went in around dinner rush on a Saturday and it was packed, nowhere to sit. And the line was almost out the door. We decided to get ours to go as it was about a 80 degree day out and there was no a/c on in here and with all the body heat it made it uncomfortable, plus all of the tables were taken. When we got their I was extremely starving as I hadn’t eaten all day and wanted a mega sub but this places mega sub cost 12 bucks. 12 bucks for a sub(I forgot the name of it) with turkey and bacon on it made Mikes way. Now for me, paying 12 bucks for a sub is just way too much money, especially considering its not like a premium type of meat like a steak sub or a prime rib sub, just turkey, bacon, and veggies. For that price you can get a meal in a sit down restaraunt like applebees and a pop, now why would anyone pay the same to eat at a fast food restaraunt(yes, I said fast food, I know some people call this type of place a fast casual, but in my eyes if a server isn’t bringing your food out to you and refilling your drinks every 10 minutes and you have to order at a counter and go up to a machine to refill your drinks its fast food, like Subway. My opinion of these fast casual places is they are fast food with a better décor on the inside but your paying sit down place prices). So I settled for there regular size turkey bacon for like 8 bucks my way and my wife got what she got and we took them home. My wife said she thought hers was the best sandwich she ever ate and while I agree it was tasty, I wouldn’t say it was better than Jimmy Johns or Quiznos, Subway yes it was definetly better than but for a premium. I would compare this place most closest to Jimmy Johns as far as the ingredients inside the sub like the meats and cheeses and veggies go, for the bread though I definetly think Jimmy Johns french soft bread is better than Jersey Mikes. Jersey Mikes bread was kinda tough and chewy. Will I eat here again, sure, my wife loves it and if we happen to be out shoppin n Woodbury off Valley Creek Rd. I’m sure my wife will want to stop here, and that is the much better option than what she always craves right next door to this place that is also very overrated(Noodles and Company). If the wife gives me a choice between this place or Noodles I will pick this one.
