K2 Restaurant & Lounge

I’ve only had a limited amount of the menu… But I keep asking for those same items because they are SO GOOD!!! The wings are great… And the sauces are original (but in a yum, I can’t find the sexy sauce anywhere else!!). The burgers weren’t over cooked, nice and juicy!!! The manager is always roaming around making herself available in case you need anything!
The only down side, expect a bit of a wait for your food… IMHO, it’s worth the wait!

K2 was ok… for Woodbridge but where does everyone go now? I enjoyed going but some staff members seemed very unhappy working and had much attitude. Wish there was another place to check out.

Would definitely have to agree with some of the previous posters. This place lacks class and taste. The food is okay at best and the drinks are so-​so. The biggest grief is the customer service which is a MUST when operating a lounge. The waiters are non-​attentive and the bouncers WERE so inconsistent with the entry rules that it made it hard for me to come back to this dump.

K2 Club Closed Monday November 3, 2014. .. . So anyone that went there on their last night of business I hope you enjoyed your time there. .. if you paid with your Bank /​Credit Card It would be a good idea to check your card charges for errors (surcharges, over charges). .. . Just hope that IF this establishment resurfaces that its better all the way around,. .. I’m Just Saying.

Went this weekend for wings Togo and my friend and I realized when we left that the had put a hold on our card for more than our bill. When I got home I had the delicious Johnny wings. I ordered the Garlic Parm wings but they needed some salt so when I heated the leftovers I added Ms. Dash to pull out the flavors.
Get the Johnny wings and I heard the mac and cheese is delic!

I love love love most if the wing flavors and one of the bartenders is super cool and helpful but this waitress I can’t I could do a better job in my day dreams I guess not every one likes tips!!!

Great food, great people great time. One of the best places in northern Virginia to go for overall entertainment. If anyone knows a better place in northern VA for a mature African American to frequent… tell me!

Just relocated enjoy my jazz night @ K2. Marcus Johnson played and the Commentator Ms. S was excellent. The chicken was very tasty. I will visit again.

Good food. Great service. Quick for all orders. Alcohol drinks ready in minutes, that’s a plus. Only one thing, heavy entrance fee & no military discount at the door, table, or drinks.

I love K2. my favorite neighborhood bar. I try not to miss their happy hour because they have good deals on food & drinks. its a nice spot to hang out on weekends too since they often have live entertainment. Sunday is karaōke night & it is hilarious. come check them out. best food in Woodbridge!

Worst spot on earth. Dropped 100 hundreds on 6 drinks and wings. Had a issue with last round they dont remake drinks. Manager on call says I can choose to remake or not. Seriously no restaurant ever refuses to remake a drink. Do not fuck with this place.

This is a wonderful place to meet good people, listen to good music and have great food.

Nasty wings, nasty attitudes, except for security, nasty dudes, nasty place. Ghetto and straight hood! Leave the Crabby Wings right where they are… on the menu. Never order them. An unappetizing experience with a plate full of greasy wings tossed with crab meat; looked like the ocean vomited them out… Gross! Ladies, this is not the place to have a ladies night out unless you like run down looking dudes looking like fiends lurking in corners. No. thank you, K2 Lounge… never again!

Read a review about K2 having the best wings Easily the worst ever. Asked for medium when mild was proposed by bartender. No sauce at all, no hot spice at all, overcooked and dried out as when they remained in the fryer so long the meat splits down to the bone. Place is an afro-​centric hip-​hop club with $ 15.00+ cocktails.

Went on a Saturday night. Older crowd, good food, cute waitresses. The music started from the 70’s then slowly worked its way to the 2k then back to the 90’s. Closes at 2. I had a great time though. Women outnumber men, cougar ville :)

So… I heard that K2 was under new management and decided to give them another try. Marsha Ambrosious was scheduled to appear Saturday evening. My gut instinct was to pass on this and see her at the Howard Theatre the next day. Against my better judgment, I purchased tickets and a table for this event because it was closer to home and cheaper. Bad move!
The general admission tickets were $ 26.75, there was an additional cost of @52.50 if you wanted a table. I purchased 3 tickets and a table for 4, for a total cost of $ 133.00. The sale of general admission and tables, leads you to believe you are paying for a full performance. Not the case here. Keep reading…
Upon entering the lounge at 9:00, I was pleasantly surprised at how courteous the front door staff was. I have been less impressed with staff in the past, so I was hopeful that this was a sign of a better K2. Because I purchased tickets as soon as they were available, my table was closest to the stage. Another good sign, or so I thought. The server for our table was a nice young woman and had a great attitude. Even more encouraging! In addition to her, there was a young woman selling specialty shots. They were initially $ 3 per shot, however, after I few rounds, she sold them to us for $ 1 a shot. Not bad.
In addition to drinks, we ordered wings and egg rolls. The food was good, the drinks were flowing and we were having a great time. Such a great time, that I didn’t begin to get suspicious of the lack of the entertainment we came to see until 10:30 or so. At 11:00, I approached a staff member and asked if there was going to be a performance. He assured me that Marsha was going to appear. Despite his assurance, I checked social media and saw where Marsha posted pics of her Red Lobster (yes Red Lobster!) dinner 2 hours earlier. I knew then that there would be no full scale performance. Around midnight, Marsha finally appeared. She strolled in, greeted the crowd. She then sang the VERSE from «Hope She Cheats on You». Followed by singing «Far Away» accompanied by a violinist who blocked the view of seeing her sing. I guess it was her who was singing. She then drank some of the champagne that was on stage, took pics with selected patrons and left. In summary, her «performance» was 1 song and a half, a few photos and that’s all.
The combined cost of tickets and food/​drinks was over $ 300. NOT worth it! NEVER AGAIN! All you had to do was be honest. I am not a novice club goer. I understand the difference in a celebrity club appearance and performance. This was an appearance that was cleverly worded. There is no right in charging people over $ 50 for a table at an appearance, that you once again, cleverly implied was a performance.
Shame on you K2. You almost won me over as a patron. And a well paying one at that. Now, I stand by my inital review.
Hood, hood and more hood!

I have visited this place twice. Let me be perfectly honest and brief. The wings are TO DIE FOR they are soooo AWESOME — 5 star wings. The service that you receive is TERRIBLE — 1 star service.
During the Furlough of 2013 a group of us decided that we wanted to get together for drinks and wings. We arrived at this place and after 40 minutes of (1) Not being asked for a drink order or (2) having a waitress address our table we were frustrated and hungry. We solicited assistance and received a female bartender. She let us know that she is working the bar but would get us some menus. Then we waited another 20 minutes and NO ONE came over to take our order. One of us then went and got another Bartender to take our order. A group of ladies arrived at this time and sat in the booth next to us and a waitress (the first we saw) walked straight to their table. Once we saw that she was finished with them we attempted to flag her down and she completely ignored us. One of us got up, walked up to her and said that we would like to order drinks and asked who will be or server. She said that she will be. Eventually our food came but we still didn’t have our drink order. This went on for the duration of our stay. We just decided to get up and walk to the bar every time we wanted a drink. The female waitress never voluntarily serviced us and we rarely if ever saw her helping the two booths next to us (we were sitting in the oval booths). If it wasn’t for those DELICIOUS wings, we would never go there again. In the months since the service has been the same. We go for the wings and expect subpar service and don’t get disappointed.
I recommend going there for those delicious wings, but don’t anticipate quality service. If possible make a phone order for the wings and taking them home and having drinks with friends. If you do eat in, order EVERYTHING from the bar. Expect 1 star service from the wait staff.

Woodbridge doesn’t have much to offer in the way of «night life» but K2 is shaping up to be a nice venue for a drink, meal, and/​or some dancing!
I have gone twice now in the last 3 months and enjoyed both times.
There is a lot of security, this makes me feel secure.
There is an area for sitting and having dinner– dancing– lounging (or VIP) – the bar.. .
I really like designated areas concept.
The food is reasonable an pretty good– although I didn’t care for the dessert (tasted boxed and like the freezer it was in).
There are B and C list entertainers there for concerts often.. .
This is a nice place for a party as well.
Plenty of free and well lit parking!
