Overall liked it a lot. Burgers are not huge, but reasonably priced, delicious and cooked to order. Topless burger comes on a nice salad. Dark chocolate shake was rich and thick — very unlike more commercial offerings. Fries were yummy too. Friendly, helpful And attentive staff. Two letdowns though. You get 4 – 5 onion rings in a cup for 4.95, I think. Not beer battered, but a very thin batter heavy on black pepper. Tasty but a total ripoff. The frozen margarita — why bother? Cactus pear is too subtle a flavor to dilute in slush. So what you get is an oddly flavored slurpie that gives you a tiny buzz. Skip it. I’d go back but order smarter next time.

I was really excited to try out this place. So one wunday afternoon me and my boyfriend decided to eat here. I had the Topless Dallas burger and a glass of unsweetened ice tea. The lady brought the drink few mins later. I squeezed the lemon into my drink, stirred it, and boom there’s goes the dynamite! A flimsy brown looking thing swirling around. I was hoping it was from the lemon but it wasn’t. I scooped it out and squished it with my fingers. The thing felt like coagulated blood from maybe who knows – the burger juice/residue? She said it’s chocolate. uhmm. I work in food service and that my friend didn’t feel and look like chocolate.

I was so stoked to have this place open in Woodbridge, but am so disappointed. Apparently the fries are made daily from potatoes but the onion rings are frozen from a vendor. Ugh-! Really? From a chef who is one of our country’s best?! The burgers are good-but the staff isn’t the friendliest or on top of cleaning the tables. The seating is odd for Virginia-a limited number of tables-inside he table is one long counter you sit down next to a stranger/family you don’t know. Hard to have a cozy conversation with kids ‘being kids’ right next to you.

We went with great expectations and I would say we were not too unhappy but not too happy either. For a place that carries the name of such a reputed chef, sadly, it was not all that great ! We ordered 1) Carolina Burger with Chicken 2) New Mexico with Turkey and 3) Veggie Crunch Salad. The burgers and the salad were okay but nothing to rave about. The coffee milkshake was watery. The Jalapeño sauce tasted off — like something had gone rancid — eww… Saving Grace — Sweet potato fries ! Yumm. The service was very friendly and staff were courteous. We went late so very few customers and so not very noisy or overwhelming. The social table seating can put some people off. Also for a relatively new place, they should fix their lights and maintain a lil more diligence in clean up. All in all, we were not very impressed.

I haven’t been to an establishment ever before where the entire staff exuded such a complete lack of enthusiasm to be at work. For a ¼ full restaurant, half of the empty table space didn’t appear clean, and staff didn’t seem bothered at all. The food was completely bland, with a griddled cheese lacking flavor, and fries that seemed to have been fresh hours ago. The sauce served with the fries had begun to settle and had a film on top. The shakes accompanying our order were decent, however served 10 minutes after the food arrived at the table. Even if you wanted a clean dining experience, you can’t wash in the ladies room because the lavatory lacks soap to do so. Overall, extremely disappointed in the entire experience start to finish. I’d rather choose a different place to spend $ 25 bucks on grease. Thanks for a first and last time at your place, Bobby!

First time at Bobby’s Burger Palace. Burgers are fantastic: meat cooked to perfection, bun stays dry and warm, toppings stay on. Spiked milkshake(I had Bourbon one) was great and not overwhelming from alcohol inclusion. Sides were meh. Not bad, not good, just had better elsewhere. Presentation is not fantastic. They could do more to make plate look more appealing when presented at table. Definitely recommend!

Not happy with the overpriced burgers, but the shakes are great but for $ 9 dollars I don’t think so.

The Brunch burger was ok at best. Ordered medium, delivered medium well close to well side and the egg was over hard. Not over very easy with the yolk goozing out over the burger. Service was mediocre but the saving grace was the spiked caramel shake. I would go back, but not one of my favorites.

I ordered the Vegas burger from here. In the Vegas burger, you’re supposed to have BBQ crunch on the inside except mine turned into a BBQ wet munch which ended up being a little gross. The chips inside were soggy so I didn’t really know how to eat them. Their burger’s overall weren’t that bad. You’re able to choose how well you want your meat to be cooked and it comes with a side of a pickle. Burgers are a little overpriced in my opinion but nothing you can do about that.

Great place for a burger and onion rings! I would have taken a picture but the food didn’t stay on my plate that long. I did manage to take a picture of the kitchen area that is open to the eating area.

This review is a little overdue. It’s been a few months since we were there, but I remember it well. We had popped into BBP for a bite to eat before seeing a movie on a Friday. It was a busy place and seemed to have a good vibe. I can’t remember which burger my husband got, but he enjoyed it. We shared an order of the Sweet Potato Fries. They were pretty tasty and we ate them all. I ordered the«Griddled Pimento Cheese and Bacon» sandwich. Normally I love pimento, but this sandwich was too spicy for me. I ate it at half the rate of which I would eat a normal pimento cheese sandwich, and that was kind of sad. We weren’t fans of the style of seating, it felt really impersonal and weird.

BBP is the best hamburger joint in Woodbridge. Burgers are cooked to order and super juicy. Each month, they have a featured burger and the flavor combinations the come up with are very creative and tasty. My favorite item on the menu is Onion Rings. Huge Rings, Huge Portioned. You will not be disappointed in Bobby’s!

Tried the Bobby Blue burger and onion rings today. The meat was as good as ever. BBP does not overwork the meat, thus helping keep it tender rather than getting tough. But the sauce on the burger was a bit much for me and took away from the quality of the meat, bacon, blue cheese, and bun. Everything tasted good, but just a bit messy for me. Doubt I will get the Bobby Blue burger again. But have to say, it was the onion rings that were disappointing. Just yesterday told a friend that BBP had the best onion rings hands-down. But found out today they have changed the recipe. Was told they are now hand cut and battered fresh each day, and the batter is different. Sounds like a great idea! Who does not like fresh? But the batter was heavy and over spiced with a lot of pepper. The batter tasted more like batter for fried chicken and it became the focal point rather than the onion. Now, I am not saying they are bad, just that they did not rock my world. Still like BBP and will continue to eat there when in the area, but sadly will no longer order the onion rings. Sigh.

Burgers cooked to order(not from frozen patties) are delicious and worth the 20– 30 minute wait. Menu options available for those wanting to splurge on a burger but remain somewhat health conscious. ****Word to the wise, if ordering take out CHECKYOURORDERBEFORELEAVING.

The brunch burger was excellent – perfectly cooked meat, a nice runny egg and crisp bacon, what’s not to love? The fries were also great and well-seasoned. The seating is a big strange – bit communal tables and a long serpentine counter are your choices, unless you want to sit outside. The kitchen is a bit slow. There were only two other parties when we went and it still took over 20 minutes to get two burgers and fries. Strange when something like Fuddruckers or Five Guys really cranks them out. Price-wise, they’re less expensive than Red Robin, but you don’t really get sit-down services, so I’d probably only go back if I was at the mall for something else.

Entrance was bright and inviting in appearance; front windows and doors needed to be wiped down. Menu very visible and the employee who took our order was very friendly, happy and courteous. I ordered the ‘crunch burger’ and it was awesome! Ordered well done and it was still juicy and perfectly cooked. I wanted to try it as is, but I added lettuce, tomato and grilled onion on the side and I added it after. This is no extra charge. The french fries were cooked perfectly, not oily or soggy. If you are like me ask for no salt when placing your order or it will come salted. I prefer just plain crispy potatoes. Milk shake was yummy! We got vanilla bean, small glass but enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Very fresh and tasty. Very satisfied with this meal. The atmosphere is very open, two types of sitting arrangements. Shared rectangle table or you can sit at the squiggly or wavy like table which is also shared. It wasn’t busy so it didn’t bother me; I can see if it was busy I wouldn’t like it much. There is also outside seating available. What else… oh at the end of the wavy tables, they have extra napkins, to go boxes and also utensils if needed. I hope you try it out.

It’s ok. Too much pepper in the burger for my taste. Fresh cut Fries tasted like the ones I make at home. Milkshake was awesome. A bit on the pricy side, but they have military and law enforcement discount. I will come again and update my review

I was in the mood for a burger so I searched for a place on Unilocal and found this one. It was better than I expected it to be. We ate a pretty late lunch, at 3pm and there was still a line to order. You order the food at the counter and you seat yourself. They bring you the food once it is ready. I ordered the LA burger since I love guacamole. I didn’t add cheese and it was still delicious. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and it came with a special sauce. It was delicious. When I was about to bite into my burger, I noticed that the bottom bun was bloody. I quickly told them and they came back with another bun for me. When I took a bite, I realized I forgot to tell them how I wanted my meat patty. It was not as cooked as I would normally like it. The guy who took my order didn’t ask me how I wanted it to be cooked. I felt like they should have asked me. Other than those two things, I had a good experience and would come back to try another item on the menu. Note: They have a good kid menu and has high chairs and changing table.

My wife and I came here to eat for small business Saturday. This place looked pretty cool, and is a small chain owned by Bobby Flay, the famous chef. We didn’t know that going in but realized it when we walked in. I ordered the New Mexico burger crunchified and medium with a coconut milkshake. For my hamburger, I was not impressed. The burger meat was tender and had good texture, but the queso sauce that smothers the burger was incredibly over powering of the flavor. I did not like that because I prefer to be able to taste my hamburger. The chips in the crunchified burger also overpowered the burger flavor. I would not recommend crunchified. My milkshake was watery and was not flavorful. The vanilla overpowered the coconut flavor. I also feel the amount milkshake does not match the $ 5 price. I probably would not order a milkshake ever again. I would like to point out that the hamburger that my wife ordered, the LA burger not crunchified, was delicious and enjoyable. My wife also ordered sweet potato fries, and they were delicious! The honey mustard horseradish sauce is to die for. One nice surprise is how great the service is. Every one is kind and helpful. I would say the service was almost on par with chick fil a. Overall 3 stars for my own experience. I would eat here again to try the other burgers.

The reviews on this place are ridiculous. I’ve been here twice and this place is great. The venue is nice and trendy. The colors are bright and I like the placement of the seats. The menu is right at the door, but I do wish there were a place to stand if you don’t know what you want. The building its very clean and the staff was clean as well. Now let’s get to the food. Between my girlfriend and I we have had the following burgers: Pacific North West, The Dallas Burger, The Bobby Blue, and The Brunch Burger. We have also had onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a dark chocolate shake. The ground turkey is really good. When I tried the Pacific North West with Turkey I was hooked. It was juicy and flavorful. The other burgers we had were good too but the PNW was fantastic. The onion rings were onion rings. I prefer them crunchy but these were more soft and a little greasy. The sweet potato fries were good. They weren’t fall out of your chair good but they were good. My one suggestion is to use the sauce used for the sweet potato fries on your burger. The shake was definitely fall out of your chair and order another one good. Great flavor and the whip cream is light and not very sweet. Overall I have no complaints on the food. The service was really good. The staff was very attentive and one guy even opened the door for us to see us out.
