Zen Spa

Aside from the language barrier, I must continue my recommendation of 5 stars for Zen Spa. They are a hidden gem. I have NEVER had a bad experience there. They all have «magical» hands. I usually get my massages from Susie or Jack, but Anna is also a great masseuse. Their prices are very reasonable, they do not pressure you into purchasing any type of packages and the hot stones are included. Susie is the only one there that clearly understands English, which is why I try to get my appts with her. They accept walk — ins which is wonderful. I am looking forward to my next massage in a few weeks!

I would like to give this place 5 stars but there’s a few things keeping me from it. My last time in I had a female massage therapist and I must say the massage was excellent. It was at the end when I went to pay that things were weird. It was $ 40 for 45 minutes. I gave the lady $ 60 and asked for $ 5 back so she can have a $ 15 tip. She seemed very confused and then called a male worker for help. It seemed they didn’t think I wanted to tip and just pay the massage rate. They weren’t speaking clearly so I couldn’t understand completely but the male worker started to point at a sign saying «tips are appreciated» multiple times. I tried explaining but they still seemed very confused. Eventually she gave me $ 5 back still looking unsure of the situation. I would like to go back for a massage again but I feel awkward now that they may think I’m a bad customer or something along those lines for not tipping.

I had a really bad knot in my neck and I decided to give this place a try since I always pass by when shopping in the mall. I originally was going ti do 45mins for $ 40 but then as Susie my masseuse started to work on my shoulders, I gave in and did 60mins for $ 55 for complete body massage from my face, head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, legs and down to my toes. Thankfully I did not need to make an appointment and the rooms were pretty clean. The only drawback was you could hear the outside mall noise over the soft ambient music. playing overhead. I will definitely recommended this place for a really good deep tissue massage. As for the knot in my neck, it is less painful

I’ve never gotten a massage before and didn’t know what to expect. My back has been aching for quite some time so I said «what the heck» I asked them to just do my back where it ached but he ended up doing the entire backside. When he had started, I felt like it was just okay but then he got into it. Towards the end of my half hour, I felt extremely relaxed. I was very satisfied. I’m handicap and have problems with my arms and wrists but he still have them a helluva massage. The pricing really isn’t bad either and they have daily specials! Highly recommend them,.they now have a new regular =)
