Had a very positive experience with Sam Cutler of Cutler Construction. He is a solid, competent, and fair professional with a positive customer service orientation. Briefly, he communicates well, does what he says he is going to do and if there is a problem, we discuss options and work together to resolve issues. His fees are very reasonable and I am very happy with the work. I know I will use him when I do more work on my apartment.

Wonderful transaction, from start to finish! I booked Sam through Red Beacon. I had a very small job, and was getting blown off by another contractor, so Sam came through for me in a big way… went above and beyond and pricing was very reasonable. He seems to really work with integrity and aims for craftsmanship, exactly what every homeowner is looking for. Bonus points for online estimates and payment. He will be my first go to for any upcoming projects.

I had Mr. Cutler perform several faucet installations in a typical bathroom. He was clean, methodical and very professional. His explanation around additional bibs that were worn out was easy to understand and he obtained the right parts and made the installation look easy. I know it took extra work to remove the old faucets and it was difficult. The end result was excellent. I will definitely hire him again for other work. His rate is equitable and he works effectively.

Sam served as the general contractor for our kitchen remodel. He provided several subcontractors who were uniformly great and coordinated their work with 2 subcontractors we provided. The work he did – demo, replace window, sheetrock, lower kitchen floor, insulation, finish carpentry – was top quality. He is responsive, easy to work with and flexible. His pricing is very fair, especially considering the quality of his work. A very positive experience.

Sam’s finished work was flawless and professional. He worked with my mother to get all the materials together and if materials were missing he went and got what was needed. He was on a mission from start to end. He showed a lot of creativity in making a lot of moving parts work and he went the extra mile when needed to get the job done. He is the kind of man you would like have a beer with and you can trust when you call him.

Sam is a great guy. And a great carpenter/​contractor. He’s worked on several projects for us over the years (gorgeous backyard fence, hot tub deck, build-​out at my husband’s office). He’s always easy to talk to, true to his word, and reliable. His rates are very competitive and he’s realistic when bidding. We’ve recommended him to friends and he’s done nothing but first rate work for them also. In short… call him, talk to him and get your project done!
