The Suite Inn is a very nice place to stay in Wolfeboro when you want a more space and a downtown location. The rooms are all two bedroom, one bath and offer a small sized kitchen(includes frig, microwave, stove, oven, sink) plus a living area(couch, table, etc.). They are quite large which is great for an extended stay with family. It would seem like overkill for a 1 – 2 night stay. Very clean, very comfortable. Great location. A little pricy for the area but you get a great deal of room. The stairs however are a nightmare. The rooms are 2nd or 3rd floor walk-up with very steep stairs. We were on the 3rd floor with three suitcases, two kids and a grandmother. I would NOT advise The Suite Inn for small kids or those with mobility issues — like bad knees(or large suitcases). We would not have stayed there if I had known the stairs were so steep and shallow. Two other oddities:(1) you reserve with a credit card but she only accepts cash or check payment upon arrival and(2) double check the reservation email confirmation as the arrival and departure dates did not match what was discussed — though they were fixed without any issue. WiFi only worked one of the four days we stayed which was a bummer since mobile reception is iffy around the lake as well. FYI — On-street parking is two hour limit during day so if you«stay in» you need to move your car every two hours. Evenings and overnight no limitation.

I booked a suite here for two nights, with the option to continue. The rooms were beautiful. It looked like they were decorated by Martha Stewart herself. Comfortable, pleasant and roomy. I said I probably couldn’t stay much longer than the two nights because I had a dog(being boarded at the time) and they did not accept pets. On the second night, without any warning I got a text asking me when I was leaving the next day. I told Kathy that I thought I had the option to stay; however she told me she had the suite rented for the next day and she insisted I move out by 11am. I told her that I had to be someplace for business by 7:30am and wouldn’t be back till 4pm. She insisted that I move out at 7am! So I did, without another place to stay. I had to run around with all my luggage until the evening when I found another place to stay. Very inhospitable… even though she helped me move my things up and down the very steep staircases.

We did not stay at the Suite Inn, but had reserved rooms a year in advance for our upcoming wedding. When checking back on which of the Suites we had reserved(we had reserved 2 of the 4, so that Cathy could keep some available for longer term rentals) for the two nights — she had no record of our reservations, even though we had spoken on the phone for a half hour and she took my credit card information. In addition to this, she said that she still had availability, but would only book with a three-night minimum. Such a disappointment as there are limited rooms in the area and we were counting on these for some of our wedding guests. However, we don’t need the three-night minimum for the two rooms. We did have one couple who wanted three-nights book with her, as she said during our initial phone call that she liked to save the other rooms for longer stays so to send anyone her way who wanted the longer stay. Upsetting to say the least. And unprofessional to take credit card information, «lose» the reservation, and claim that she would never accept a reservation for a two-night minimum. Or maybe she would change her mind and«lose» the reservation. Unbelievable.

I have been staying at the Suite Inn for 12 years. Cathy is the hostess with the mostess. She will attend to all your needs or leave you alone completely. These 2 bedroom suits are spotless, comfy and extremely convenient in the center of Wolfeboro NH. The kitchens are big and it is so easy to cook your own breakfast or dinner and then go downstairs for a fabulous ice cream. Wolfeboro is loaded with places to dine and shop. You are at the center of it all. Large bedrooms, living room with cable TV, AC, wifi and large bathrooms. Directly across the street from the Lake. You cannot go wrong. I stay at the Suite Inn all year round. I have come here in Winter time to get away or go skiing. Gunstock is right around the corner. All in all the Suite Inn is the best most comfy bang for your buck. Once you come here you will never stay anywhere else. That is what happened to me.

Great location in the center of town. Spacious two bedroom«apartment-like» suite and clean as a whistle. It’s so nice to stay in a place that feels like home. We will definitely will return.
