i like the store ,BUT, Only guy that actually like the job there is Joe. I get Delay for every purchase. They never call back when clear. If i call to ask they make a big deal out of it. Today i called for a gun purchase check and the guy was irritated that i call to check. ( what id the date on the paper ?) he asked .. Do not matter. What is the big deal of checking? I decide to change store from now own .. That is my last buy at four seasons firearms!!!!

Great store, great service, incredible staff. It’s a gun shop; don’t go there without doing some homework and firing a few pieces. I was in and out, less than an hour with a gorgeous new 9 mm at fair price. I went back the next day… and bought a nifty 38. They have their stuff together. DJ was awesome, so was Mike. Follow instructions. Go to the kiosk at back of store first. They have nice pieces at all price points.

Great place! Bought my best stuff there. Always packed but ok during working hours. Otherwise speak up! They staff if extremely knowledgable and the owner is a great guy he’s Nice and always willing to help you with anything. Do some research and go there with the hard questions. Place is way way to busy to ask basic things you can find on you first Google search.

Place has great prices great service and if you wanna buy but don’t know what your looking for they will set you in the right direction. Great prices on ammo recommend to anyone.

First time there. Went with a friend. Both retired female LEO’s. Walked in on a Thursday. The place was filled w/​hunter — type guys. Of course, they all noticed us when we walked in, being the only two women there! That was the last second we felt «observed».
One of the owners, Carl, immediately offered to help us. My friend and Carl determined they had a mutual acquaintance, so they chatted up a bit.
Then Dan, another salesperson came over to help us. Both guys had a really nice manner about them. They didn’t try to steer us toward a particular firearm. They were only interested in what WE were looking for. Within two minutes, based on our preferences, they displayed two seperate firearms. Each of us ended up purchasing the individual guns shown. By this time, the hunter — types departed, and a new wave of gun affectionados came in. The place was consistently busy. All the salesmen spent considerable time at the counter with the serious buyers.
The only hiccup was when we had to do the data entry info for the feds. The pc I had became locked — up. No worries, I just moved over to the next pc. There were 3 computers available for this portion of the process. They are positioned at the far end of the store, away from the counter to give the buyer deserved focus without distraction.
Back to Carl and Dan. VERY informed dealers. The store is small but you never feel cramped in this space. They have the lay-​out down. Customers just flow in and out without incident. All happy customers!
There’s a lot going on at the counter, buyers being processed out, while browsers are peering into the display cases. Although Carl and Dan needed to answer other questions from both fellow salesmen and potential buyers while they helped us, we felt we had their undivided attention the entire visit. We got a great deal on the guns and Carl helped us carry some of the new gear to the car. On the ride home, my friend and I kept commenting what a nice experience we had at Four Seasons! I would recommend this store to anyone. My only suggestion is that you do your internet research before you walk in, helps move things along. Any questions you have at that time will be answered.
Also, if you are a woman looking to purchase a firearm, and are looking for a gun shop where you’ll feel comfortable and welcomed — Four Seasons is the place to go!

Omg! I keep trying to give this place a chance over and over due to a large selection and prices but as soon as I enter the store in get disgusted. It’s like people bring their whole families to purchase a gun. It’s like a picnic or something. When I look around and see the vast majority of customers, that I wouldn’t want to sell a staple gun to, the fact that I carry a weapon throughout the United states to protect myself from clowns is reinforced. My experience with the sales people has always been horrible. Some bozo yesterday was yapping to some foreigners, which I’m sure if I went to where ever they were born I wouldn’t be able to get a permit, was load and ignorant talking about getting chased by police in fast cars. What an utter dipshit. And the lack of knowledge is pathetic. I think one dude is a firefighter, another loud dummy. Good thing his other job is squirting water on a fire because he’s an idiot. And I always notice the same vehicles with veterans plates, whom the owners I assume work there. Come on guys nothing else out there for you? This joint needs a major revamp. Ditch the clowns.

Been coming here for 4 years. In my opinion this is the best gun store in Mass. I have never been able to beat their pricing on a pistol or rifle. I like sporting shotguns and they do not have a big inventory of them, though I see he is advertising the Beretta Silver Pigeon I now and then.
Buying a gun is Mass can be challenging since the rules are ambiguous at best. This place errs on the side of caution, and will not sell it if it is not on both Legal Lists, to me this is a plus (others may disagree).
Biggest criticism I have (and this is a common one you may have heard) is that it is a zoo most of the time. If you can sneak out of work to go there it is usually not as busy, Thursday nights and Saturday is crazy. The guys are knowledgeable but do not expect them to stand around and chew the fat about you favorite gun, they are too busy moving product.
Was disappointed recently that they would not take a gun (which I bought there 2 years ago) back in a trade, they usually accommodate me but they had a bunch of the same model new and in-​stock. They are selling it for me on consignment though, I am not a big fan of gun shows or a private sales to strangers.
Carl is definitely a dog lover, that is a good recommendation in my book (I am partial to Chocolate Labs myself).

Not sure why some of these reviews are so negative. My wife and I are newbies and went to Four Seasons for the first time on Saturday ⁸⁄₁. We got there right at 9 because of some of the horror stories I had heard about the crowds on Saturdays. There were already a few people there, but Karl greeted us right away and got us started. He helped me fill out the forms and then had Larry help me with the purchase. They were both incredibly helpful and friendly. Larry went over every aspect of the firearm and sent me off far more knowledgeable then when I came in. Will absolutely use them as my store in the future.

I’m sure it all depends on who you get to help you here but I had a terrible experience as a newbie a few months ago. I did my research and decided that I really wanted a Glock as my 1^st firearm. After looking at a few firearms they had, I had asked my sales guy if they had any or were able to order a Glock? My older and shaky handed sales guy, who pinched his hand in a slide while showing me a firearm earlier, quickly advised that Glocks are illegal in MA and I cannot buy one. I was surprised by this comment and told him there are Glocks on the MA approved firearms list. He told me that I was looking at the wrong list and need to look at the «other» list. I left feeling very displeased with my experience and felt my sales guy was absolutely no help. I had told him I was a first timer and after asking him more than once what he recommended the only thing he could give me a straight answer on was Glocks were allegedly «no-​no» in MA. Well after some research I found a more knowledgeable & very helpful gun shop on the South Shore and I got my Glock. I’m sure there are way better salespeople at Four Seasons but based on my experience there, I will never be back.

I’ve been here a few times and have always been amazed at the sheer amount of customers in such a small place. At first I was turned off, but I realized that people move in and out quickly and they do a decent job in helping you out if you have some patience.
The store surprisingly has quite a bit for its size and on Saturdays you will see a large staff working to help keep things moving.
Pricing for this store is actually quite competitive these days in contrast to a lot of other stores. I have routinely found that their pricing matches or surpasses many stores (in the case for some other local stores, they don’t come close to matching Four Seasons).
If you’re shy or freak out with a lot of people, it may not be your store. However, it’s always interesting to pop your head in and people watch — for some reason I enjoy people watching there (not in a creepy way) to see the guy in a suit, the girl with a fancy purse, the new kid that just got his license and everyone else.

I purchased a used firearm here and immediately had issues with it so I brought it back they «fixed» it and immediately had issues again. Obviously I was very frustrated, but it was clearly a manufacturer problem. Four seasons gave me full credit for the original purchase, no questions asked. I was very pleased with the customer service.

I’ve purchased three guns at Four Seasons. I have to admit my first purchase didn’t go so well. It feels a little bit like a cattle call on Saturday. So many people you have to take a ticket like you’re at the deli. I ended up purchasing a gun that wasn’t right for me because I was a newbie and was rushed.
On my two subsequent purchases I had great experiences. The salesperson answered all my questions and when he didn’t know the answer he found someone that did. I wasn’t rushed and ended up getting a great deal on both guns. I went during the week when it was much less busy than a Saturday. The prices at Four Seasons are great and there selection of handguns can’t be beat in the area. I’m a fan and will be heading back.
I had the pleasure of meeting Carl on my last visit. He’s a nice guy. He even went out of his way to help me with a small issue I was having with another non firearm product. I appreciate the extra effort.

MA gun laws are very hard on the consumer and lot’s of gun stores are more than happy to take advantage of that.
I did not get that feeling at Four Seasons. Their prices are great and their website stays fairly up to date. The staff was extremely busy on the Saturday I went there since they aren’t open on Sundays and Mondays. I wish they were open on Sundays.
They have blown away every local gun store in that area on gun prices.
As I write this, You can buy a Ruger 10 – 22 for $ 190. or the takedown for $ 280.
I came to buy a used Shield 9 for $ 299 but was disappointed as they were sold out. Ended up buying a new shield for $ 380 as it is still a competitive price and I already spent the gas to get up there.
I wish I can remember my sales guy’s name but either way they all seemed pretty nice. It can be hard to get help on saturdays. Sometimes you have to take a number. I’m not going to knock any stars for a business that is doing well, getting the job done, and trying to keep their overhead low to keep the pricing reasonable. Good job guys!

It’s small and a little crazy on the weekends, but IMO, they are professional and helpful.

Bought a .22 rifle there a few years back and then recently traded it in for a 9 mm hand gun. Wonderful staff who are always helpful and will show you a variety of different firearms while explaining each one in detail. This place is VERY VERY busy on Saturdays and they have a mass amount of staff on hand but you will end up waiting for staff help. Worth the trip!

GREAT shop! Premier shop in Massachusetts. Yes it’s smaller, yes at times you have to take a ticket and wait. But do you take a pager and wait at your favorite restaurant?! Of course because it’s worth it!
I’ve been going to this shop since I was young and Carl is a great guy and a people person. Staff is very knowledgeable, different guys that specialize in different aspects of the sport. I’ve purchased several firearms from carry to hunting purpose here. Competitive ammo prices and great prices on firearms.
The store not only is kept stocked with ammo and firearms but the website is updated throughout the day.

Let me start off first by saying I am not a gun nut. I need to carry for my job and view guns as a tool and not a hobby… I also don’t think the zombie apocalypse is upon us either. That being said I’ve been going to FS for over 10 years now. The owner Carl as other reviews point out, is a great guy and honest as the day is long.
I’m a little dismayed at some of the reviews saying the customer service is poor. I have never had a bad experience with the guys behind the counter, ever. They don’t talk down to you, don’t act like soldiers of fortune and most importantly, don’t rush you through your purchase.
The real issue with FS is that it’s a small shop and in the last couple of years has become REALLY popular. This results is a very cramped shop with people literally bumping into each other. It takes it toll on the customers and the staff. People get grumpy in those conditions. They are a victim of their own success and good reputation.
But other than expand, what is Carl to do? It doesn’t matter how many people they have behind the counter if the floor space can’t accommodate the number of customers. My best advice is to go there early in the morning during the week. If you decide to go on the weekends prepare yourself to be very annoyed.

The guys behind the counter couldn’t be more helpful and more professional. I purchased my first gun here last week and couldn’t be happier! I will definitely be a customer for life if they keep their service at this level. Thank you Four Seasons Firearms.

I am going to be short and to the point on This place so you don’t have to read much.
I like this place more for their products than service.
Know what you want before you go. The staff is knowledgeable but not very nice to deal with. The owner is amazing though.
They have a good selection of guns that you can’t really find around the Woburn area.
A very decent selection of holsters. The largest I’ve seen around
Ammo is fairly priced and usually almost always in stock
They do have a reputation of selling sub-​par/​broken used guns and not being on their game getting them fixed in a timely manner. So be weary.
Don’t go on weekends, it’s crowded like time square and you’ll leave disgruntled.
