Absolutely top tier. My experience with Boston Tree Preservation required an expert in tree health, as a neighbor was intending on digging into the roots of a tree on our property.
The level of attention to my needs, and the consultation they provided were exemplary.
I highly recommend this company, as their service and their passion for their craft is readily apparent when speaking with their contractors.

They have been maintaining everyone’s trees on my block for years. Including spraying our hemlock for Woolly Adelgid… regularly. They recommended pruning away two of its 3 trunks. We were worried but the tree is now straight and stronger, two stories tall. I can’t believe I bought it as a potted Xmas tree with a city of Somerville discount ten years back! I love how Boston Tree Preservation calls themselves Preservation rather than just a ‘Tree Company.’ They explain that they are deliberately emphasizing caring for the trees. When a tree needs to be cut they will do it, but until then they will keep them thriving.

I was very happy with the tree pruning they did for me but I also contracted with them to spray for Winter Moth and paid for the service in December but they blew me off and only showed up in the spring after I’d called and thus they were late and treated the tree after the worms had had a field day with my trees.
