I needed to scan some old family negatives, one set of which were a very unusual size, another set of which had been cut by an ancestor to one-​picture-​size. The folk were willing to work with me on this, and produced good results in only a couple days. The owner was also very helpful in talking me through some technology issues that I had with incompatible software. And I am very happy with the results.

This is such a great small family business. I discovered Apex when other bigger chain photo developers weren’t able to process some professional baby photos that I ordered. I’ve been extremely happy with every order at Apex (and as a first time mom there’s been a lot!) and love the wide variety of size options. The customer service is great as well, very friendly and personable. I frequently recommend this shop to all of my friends and family and won’t go anywhere else for my photo needs!

I recently opened a business. I needed professional photos to accurately portray the energy, feel and space of my business location. Andrew and Apex Photo Lab not only helped me with getting a great variety of shots that conveyed exactly what I was looking for, but also provided great insight and advice on what would work best. Their professionalism, knowledge and expertise exceeded my expectation. Also, turnaround time was great.

I came up with this idea for my wife’s xmas present this year. I would buy a locket and put a wedding picture of ours in there on one side and, since we are expecting, I would leave the other side empty for a picture of our little one when he/​she is born. I knew she would love it. so I ordered the locket, went and picked out a picture from our wedding photos and ordered one that I liked of us kissing in wallet size. Most people realize the problem I now faced: the wallet sized picture is way too big. So I had to think fast, Xmas was only days away. I found Apex photo lab online through a google search, drove over there, and asked them if they would help me out. After busting my chops a little bit for waiting til the last minute, they obliged me and told me it would be ready in two days. They had it done in one day and called me to come pick it up. They even made a bunch of copies in locket size in case I screwed up. They are great here, friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough.

Once upon a time this was the little photo shop next to the laundromat in Winchester. Unfortunately they were forced out to make room for a CVS, but thankfully they resurfaced on Main St in Woburn. Apex has helped my with Holiday cards, scans and reprints of precious old family photos, and canvas prints for a lake house. They are tech savvy, creative, helpful, and proactive in solving issues that I might not have foreseen.

I recently ordered my wedding prints from Apex photo lab in order to make several wedding albums as mother’s day gifts. I ordered about 800 prints online on a Tuesday evening and the prints were ready for me to pick up in store on Wednesday afternoon. The prints themselves turned out SO well. The photo paper used was very high quality (I ordered my photos in glossy); much higher quality than if I had ordered through Shutterfly or Target photo lab which I’ve used in the past. The price was very reasonable (I’m fairly sure it was comparable to Shutterfly) and I loved that they offered different printing options like matte or glossy or adding a white border.
On top of the quick service, the owner noticed that I had ordered one of the larger photos (8×12) with a white border, as that was the way I had ordered all of my smaller prints. Assuming I had intended to frame this print, he ended up printing me one with a white border as ordered, and one without a white border as is more conventional for framing, free of charge.
Overall it was just a very great experience working with this shop — I will definitely order from this local business again!

The service at this small shop is terrific and terrifically friendly. I needed a number of photos scanned and printed on short notice for a funeral, and the owner did the work right away and was very nice about it. Will definitely go back the next time I need prints or photo supplies.
