Wixom Towing

NOT helpful, rude, charged for towing AND labor? I’ve never used a company for a tow that charged for labor! Never will I use this company!

Stranded? Don’t call them.
From the moment the lady answered the phone the atmosphere was tainted with pure lack of manners. I asked for a car to be towed, she then asked me for an address of where the car was. After two minutes of me trying to find my location since I was lost and was trying to use my phone to find my location she said, «Oh, we’re going to have to pass on you. I just got a call, sorry.» Terrible service, terrible business ethics, and ended up finding a place that was $ 10 cheaper. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fast and efficient service once they showed up. Their dispatching /​call taker left something to be desired.
My car wouldn’t start this morning, most likely needed a new battery thanks to the arctic weather of late. Called Wixom Towing around 650 am and was told it would be about an hour. Not an unreasonable amount of time.
However, I had to explain myself several times. He was unable to understand that I wanted a jump start because I believed it was my battery but that if it didn’t work I would need the car towed to the mechanic. He kept asking if I needed a tow or a jump. Finally after explaining myself for the third time he seemed to understand. I provided my address and the address of the mechanic I would be using if needed, and the details of my car.
At 815 am (just short of an hour and a half later) I received a phone call asking if I still needed their services. I had to provide all the information again. And again he seemed confused when I explained that I most likely needed a jump start. But might end up needing my car towed. I was told this time that they would get some one out shortly. Wasn’t even given a time estimate.
As you can imagine I hung up the phone and looked for a new company. Went out to try and start my car again before contacting another service. That’s when Wixom Towing showed up. They were there so I used them. The driver was fast and polite. He was able to jump my car and $ 55 later I was on my own way to the mechanic.
Given the price and the trouble with the dispatcher I will be looking for a new company in the future.

I have been using Wixom Towing for years & get great service all the time! Prompt, professional service that you can count on doing the job right! They are always there on time & at a fair price. I use them all the time for my business truck fleet, classic cars & personal cars. Call them ²⁴⁄₇ they will pick up the phone & be there when you need them!!!

Very awful experience, I had car accident last week, and maybe the cop called the wixom towing to tow my car. Their location is only 2mins drive to my accident location. And I went to there wanna to tow my car, they would like to charge me 150 dollars. And they only receive cash, on this modern world, no visa, no AMEX, no Discover. Ok, forget about these, the customer service is very disgusting. I walk to there location, and they said they need another documents. They just ask me to go back to bring it, why don’t they tell me on the phone before I came to them. All in a word, the wixom towing is very bad. High cost, and very inconvenience. Don’t recommend it all. Don’t waste you money on it.

I broke down on W I96 at Milford on a Fri night in rush hour traffic with my 2 young daughters. Brian came out and was very efficient. He expressed great concern for our safety, as we were in a very dangerous spot. He was professional, and friendly. He made a terrible situation, a little less terrible!
He also didn’t overcharge me!

These guys are the best people to call if you are in need of a tow. I used them a lot when I was in a business with a lot of trucks. They are family owned and operated. Honest, hard working and fair. I highly recommend WIXOM Towing!
