Extremely clean. Pictures on the website don’t do it justice. The cabins are so well kept, cozy, and rustic. Love the view from the balcony. I especially loved that there was an upstairs and downstairs. I can’t believe how reasonably priced it was. And there’s wifi, a kitchen, grill, tv, and a fireplace. Can’t wait to come back!

Visited Rivers Edge for the first time this weekend for Labor day to do some fishing. Rented a fishing boat for around $ 80 for the day. Boat stalled and would not go into gear leaving my friend and I stranded for over an hour, tried calling office numerous times and recieved busy signal. Finally was able to get boat started and limped it back to dock. Went into office and politely asked staff if they were able to issue a refund since we were already extremely frustrated with the poor maintenence of the equipment and being stuck for so long. Was instructed to go back to the dock and wait for someone to «check for additional damage» as if we damaged their poorly maintained equipment. Waited for half hour by the dock and nobody came to help so I went back to the office to see if someone was coming and told to go back down to the dock and look for«a guy with blue shirt» in a really dismissive tone even though everyone had pagers as if it was my responsibility to track down the employees. At this point I start to lose my patience and tell the gentleman that I do not have time and if they can not issue a refund just tell me so we do not waste each others time. In an aggravated tone he tells me to leave my number which I did. I do not get a call back nor do I get a refund even though we only had the boat for less than 3 hours. Would never return or recommend it to anyone. Completely unprofessional and horrible customer service!

Needed a pick up after canoeing with them and there phone was off the hook. Once I finally reached them it took a long time to get us. It’s been 2:30 hours since I first tried to reach them and I’m still waiting.

We’ve been taking awesome, relaxing vacations at Rivers Edge Resort in WI for the past 10 years. It’s been fun for my husband and I to rest and relax here as a couple, just the two of us or with a bunch of friends(renting one of the larger log houses) and than after our kids were born Rivers Edge remained our favorite destination at the Dells. It is always beautiful there no matter what season you choose to visit. They have several accommodation options for couples and for larger groups as well. Their log cabins are very tastefully crafted and clean. The resort is equipped with outdoor pool and there are recreational options on premises and near the resort. They also have free wireless internet and breakfast. Also the people who run the place are very friendly and always helpful.

This review s for a River’s Edge weekend stay in winter. My friends and I rented a cabin that slept 10 people. It was absolutely beautiful. It had three bed rooms two bathrooms, a full kitchen minus an oven, a living room. the living room had a beautiful fish tank, T.V. and fire place. Everything was decorated in the cabin décor with stuffed deer heads, bee hives, ect on the walls. It was very rustic. The facility was very clean and well taken care of. We spent most of our time in the cabin since it was January when we stayed but it felt like a home away from home. It was quite and away from the indoor water parks. In the Summer they have boat rentals, we did not par take as it was very cold. The room rate for our cabin with tax was about $ 300 a night and considering the quality and the amount of people the cabin comfortably held, i think it’s a steal! We have already decided that we would love to return in the summer to enjoy boating!

Great place to stay. Pontoon boats available for rent on the river and a great fire pit down by the river — great for big groups. The cabins are huge. This is a great destination for groups — especially reunions. It is a favorite spot for serious anglers visiting the area, so the bait shop is well stocked. The best part is the restaurant. High gloss wood posts and beams, a 4,000 gallon aquarium, tons of stuffed dead animals, and some of the best broasted chicken on the planet. A frequent place for locals and fisherman. Family friendly and reasonably priced. A refreshing break from the typical over-priced tourists traps scattered all over the Dells.

I stayed here last week for my vacation and I was very satisfied with everything that River’s Edge had to offer. They had a nice pool, bait shop, beautiful riverfront area, and a great restaurant all located within short walking distance. It’s only a stone’s throw away from the strip, but it’s far enough away you steer clear of all the congestion. The price is just right, actually a lot lower than I expected. First I’ll start with the room. The room we stayed in had the look of a log cabin. It had two very nice beds, a kitchenette, a pretty big bathroom, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a table with chairs. The only minor complaint I have is that I couldn’t figure out the alarm clock. I think it was sent from another world because it would never go off at the time I set it for. It would just go off at random times of the day. I ended up just plugging it out and used my cell phone instead. The property sits right on the Wisconsin River, so fishing, boating, etc., etc are to be expected. I fished every morning and most nights and I was not disappointed in the least. For the whole week I must have caught a total of 50 fish. You can both fish off the dock or just walk down the beach and find a nice shady spot. The fishing was excellent. One day we rented a kayak for the low price of seven dollars. You can also rent canoes, rowboats, and pontoon boats. The pool is nice and clean, but a bit small. I found it best to go early in the day or late at night. They do have a beach where you can swim in the river and is much less crowded on the hot days. The restaurant has the most delicious fried chicken that has ever entered my belly. It takes awhile to prepare, but boy is it worth it. Every bite of this chicken is a joy. They also have a sweet all you can eat fish fry on Fridays. It’s only 9.95, but I would suggest you get there early since it gets crowed. Lots of beer and booze choices with the Spotted Cow beer my favorite of the bunch. I will say their breakfast is kind of limited and pricey so I would suggest another place for you morning meal. I really enjoyed staying at this place and will be staying here again next year. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is the housekeeping department. I’m just not used to having to go find someone to give me fresh towels and an extra roll of toilet paper. It’s really a 4 ½ star review, but either way it is a great place to stay.
