I absolutely love everything about the Antique Table in Winthrop. The staff welcome you with smiles, and food is by far the best around. I’ve been accommodated with dietary restrictions without hesitation. I have lived in this town my whole life and never felt as welcomed in any establishment. Lisa, Lisa L, and Steven have made every meal feel like I am a part of their families. My only issue and its small, is when walking in, some staff members speaking another language, as a business owner myself, it is a little uncomfortable to walk into.

A friend of ours who lives in Winthrop suggested we check out Antique Table(we live in East Boston). With Rino’s right next door to us, we never had a real reason to get Italian food anywhere but there. Alas, with the long waits and desire to try everything, we decided to spend our anniversary at Antique Table. On a Saturday at around 8, we showed up for dinner. The place was busy, but they sat us right by the window. Our waiter took our drink order quickly and brought us delicious bread and olive oil dip. One thing they note on the menu is that all the dishes are made from scratch and will take 20 – 25 minutes to come out. Setting that expectation is important: we didn’t come hungry, and we were able to pace ourselves with drinks and an app so we didn’t get antsy. We enjoyed each other’s company. Wine: I had a glass of Pinot Noir that went well with my pasta. Appetizers: We ordered the side of roasted potatoes as an app, and they were SO good. Very crispy with a coating of salt. If you have a beef or chicken dish, this would be a great side. Main dish: Orecchiette with sausage ragu and broccoli rabe. A perfect portion. The sauce was salty and rich, very different from the Chicken Parm(which my husband ordered) that had a sweeter tomato based sauce. I appreciated that both the tomato sauces had their own taste that complimented the dish. Dessert: I had the crème brûlée, which was wonderful, but seeing the molten lava cake and bread pudding(both beautiful) gave me order envy. Aside from the food, wine, and service, Antique Table had another great attribute: the place isn’t packed to the brim, which gives it a relaxed atmosphere, allows it to be quieter even when busy, and gives you space to breath!

Just ordered take out from this place, it being the first time I have ever eaten from them, and I even was a last minute take out order. I must say BYFAR the BESTCHICKENPARMIGIANA I have had in a LONG time. I have not tasted that quality of chicken, first of all, from any restaurant in a LONG time, nor have I had amazing sauce to go right along with it! The fettuccine for my pasta choice that it was accompanied with was phenomenal. I grew up in Revere and have been to all restaurants in the area from Winthrop to East Boston to Revere, Malden, Everett, etc, and I must say I am IMPRESSED! I cannot wait to actually dine in at this restaurant. Compliments to the chef! Satisfied momma to be right here.

This hidden gem is worth the trip outside of Boston. Upon entering the décor lighting and music give a cozy feel. The warm focaccia bread and oil is a great start to the meal and they have a great salad dressing if youre in the mood for a house salad. Id highly reccomend any of their homemade pastas. Two of my favorite dishes are the bolognese and chicken francese. This is some true italian cooking.

Cute little place in quaint Winthrop. People are friendly and décor is nice. All our dinners were very good, but I would stay away from the veal. Three dishes had veal and they were all very tough. Lobster ravioli was a big hit as well as the haddock. I absolutely would return and hope this place makes it.

I had been hearing good things about this restaurant for a while and finally checked it out this evening as a foursome. Really nice ambiance — pretty small but tables not too tight. The food was excellent. A wide variety of Italian food on the menu to choose from. Our appetizers were fantastic and the main courses even better. Large enough size portions. Wait staff were great. Oh — and public parking right across the street. Will be going back for sure!

I will say the food is very good, but the stuffs are not as friendly as we heard. I understand it is a local restaurant. And of course they have their favorite guest. But as a visitor, I will not choose to use«very friendly» to describe their service. I asked for a hot water for my mother, because her doctor told us she not suppose to drink anything cold. But they give us some wine with ice without asking which I have to ask them to take the ice away. They come frequently to ask us if we are still working on our food… I can understand that if they have lots of customers, but in fact we are the only three table in the room…

First time customer(recommended by a friend who is a Winthrop resident). Loved the décor, the intimate table placement; staff was super friendly and attentive; reminded me of so many local places I frequented while vacationing in Italy recently. The dipping oil is among the best I’ve ever had; our meals were delicious(eggplant parm and veal Francese both with homemade parppadelle). Dessert was Limoncello & Mascarpone cake; We started with a pear martini and a gin gimlet martini… super strong! No skimping on the alcohol in this place! ;)

For my birthday my boyfriend brought me here. We live in Winthrop and we drive by it all the time so we figured it would be a good place to try out. It’s a small little restaurant, but at least you’re not squished on top of another, you do have your space. A lot of paintings and clocks on the walls, and if you go at night, you’ll get a candlelit dinner. It has a cute but small full bar with a TV. I can’t rate the drinks because I didn’t have any. They serve you fresh and super soft bread and oil that you can pick on before your meal. I love the fact they put grated cheese on the oil before bringing it out to you. And it’s the perfect blend of oil and spices! It states right on their menu that all of their ingredients are made fresh, so there may be a little of a wait before your meal gets to you(so be careful how much bread and oil you eat, haha.) Our food was out relatively quickly, so I can’t complain about that. I got shrimp linguine with spinach. The alfredo sauce was really good, you could tell it was homemade, and the shrimps were nice and big. My boyfriend got the chicken broccoli alfredo. He too liked the alfreda sauce as well. Overall, very good quality food.

Just visited for the first time and couldn’t be happier. My fiancé and and had driven by a number of times and decided to try ATT for his birthday. We started off with specialty cocktails and delicious calamari. For our entrees, we both ordered seafood. Both dishes(salmon and haddock) were richly rustic and vibrant. We paired our dinners with a bright montepulciano(who says you can’t have red with seafood??). For dessert, we enjoyed a rich chocolate lava cake and a yummy crème brûlée. Lisa, who is amazing, thought to turn the crème brûlée into a birthday surprise. She saved my bacon because I did not have time to pick up a cake today! There are a lot of restaurants with excellent food but it’s often the people that make them shine. Even the hostess wished my fiancé a happy birthday as we left. ATT has both. Thank you Lisa and ATT for a lovely evening. We’ll see you soon!

My husband suggested going to Antique Table in Lynn. As we were looking for directions, we were pleasantly surprised to see another location in Winthrop! We went on a Monday night around 6:30pm. There were plenty of tables to choose from; the service was fast and friendly plus the food was delicious. We will definitely return!

Great new addition to Winthrop with full service bar! Everyone keeps raving about Antique Table so my husband and I checked it out. Was greeted by their very friendly and professional manager Oscar who put our name on waiting list and also escorted us right to the bar and made our first drink. We decided to order the Don Julio margarita off the drink menu to start. The margarita was so good!!! Skip the wine and order this margarita. Trust me! For dinner our service & cozy table by the window was great. The bread with dipping oil was delicious! We ordered seconds. The appetizers and entrees were great. I highly recommend the prosciutto rollitini for an appetizer. I got a seafood special for my dinner that I loved. Everything coming out of that kitchen looked and smelled great. What’s great about the restaurant is its space. I spacious so it’s not as noisy and cramped as some of the other Italian spots in Winthrop. Can’t wait to go back with friends and family!

Went there again because friends wanted to go. Again. Same result. Another restaurant not delivering anything close to what it could. So better off finding recipes and cooking for yourself. The only benefit of going here is you don’t have to clean up after, although they might be slow enough you would be better off doing your self. Sad

I have eaten at antique table twice and both times have been amazing. First off, the atmosphere is wonderful. It’s small but you don’t feel like you’re on top of the other diners. And the décor is really nice. You feel like your in the north end. The bread they initially serve you is so delicious. It’s a warm focaccia with a savory dipping sauce. Between my husband and I, we have ordered the grilled salmon(it was so good I ordered it both times), the steak special, and the lobster ravioli. We loved everything. The salmon was cooked perfectly which I really appreciated because sometimes at Italian restaurants, they can over cook it. The lobster ravioli was decadent, and the steak was melt in your mouth delicious. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu which was also delicious. The service we received was wonderful, making both of my experiences so great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and I am already looking forward to going back!

It was not what i was expecting. The restaurant its very nice, friendly staff but they seem to be inexperienced. I personally didn’t like that they kept putting bread in our table by the time we were going to start with our entrees we were already full. I ordered the chicken ziti and broccoli for entrée, this is the first restaurant that i see that they put onions on the pasta, i personally think that pasta tastes better with just the choice of sauce you want and the chicken with broccoli. Again its just my personal opinion. Overall it’s was an okay experience, maybe I’ll be coming back just to sit at the bar.

Tried this place for the first time tonight since it opened. It wasn’t too busy and we sat right down. There is a bar area with 8 – 10 chairs on the right and the seating area to the left. Very quaint, intimate, and decorated nicely. The bread and oil given when you sat down was delicious. Fresh bread and the oil was very flavorful. I have attached photos of the meals that my Friends and I got but I personally had the chicken Parmesan with homemade fettuccine. It was very good! Fresh pasta, there’s nothing like it. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty. My friends meals were also delicious and nicely cooked. Wine /beer /alcohol available at the bar and in the seated area. Our waitress was efficient and pleasant. The wait time for dinner was slightly longer than normal, but all four of us ordered home made pasta which we assumed took longer to prepare. I will definitely be going back and glad to see a restaurant like this in the area!

This place recently opened just down the street from our house and we were really excited because we had heard such great things about the original location. Unfortunately the first time we went was not very impressive, the restaurant is very noisy and the staff is totally unorganized which makes for a chaotic dining environment. What is too bad is that the food is good but the portions were small. I ordered a special which was the butter but squash ravioli which was expensive and thought I would get a whole meal and got 5 small ravioli and was starving. Lastly the drinks were sub par with not a ton of choice, which is bad for being one of the Only restaurants in Winthrop with a liquor license. My wife had a dirty martini which was nothing more than vodka in a glass in addition to short wine pours. This place would be vastly improved with a more organized staff which would translate to better service, more hearty portion sizes and some better drinks. It’s in a great location and could do really well with a few small improvements. We hope this is constructive feedback.

Antique Table — Winthrop, opened this week in the Crest Ave /Highlands neighborhood of Winthop. It feels like this restaurant was a long time coming, but it was definitely worth the wait! They paid especially close attention to the interior detail to make it feel as if you’d entered a small trattoria in Italy. A great eclectic mix of art on the walls, a nice bar setup, and good table arrangement make this place a very inviting space to first walk into. It’s also noteworthy that this Italian restaurant had a full bar and wine selection unlike the other local Italian spots. The waitstaff was attentive as we were seated. Orders for drinks and our appetizer(the antipasto plate) were taken quickly, and brought out in perfect time. They also offer a very nice fresh focaccia with dipping oil. That was a big hit a the table. The antipasto plate was also exactly what we’d hoped for. I’ll go so far as to say that I find it superior to any antipasto served at the other two competing Italian restaurants in Winthrop. Excellent portion size for the side salads that accompany our meals. For our mains, two of us ordered the orecchiette and the other, lobster ravioli. I could not have been happier with my choice, and the others were very pleased as well. Great pasta/sausage/sauce ratios for the orecchiette, and the ravioli were perfectly stuffed. Now this place has been open about a week, so for now, the only true hiccup I noticed was just the general rhythm of the waitstaff maneuvering around the restaurant. But this is really not to be judged as it will work itself out in time. On a final note, I noticed the chef stepping out of the kitchen to personally serve some tables. This to me is a sign that they’ve got customer service at the top of their priority list! Service was right, prices were right, food/drink were right. We’ll be back with lots of friends. Keep it up!
