The Finishing Touch

Stopped in for a couple of smoothies from Rhapsody and it was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves very much.

The wife and I went in search of the John Wayne Museum and the many covered bridges in the area. We popped into downtown Winterset to check out the shops and whatever else (although most things are closed on Sundays), and saw a diner that looked interesting, but by the time we got there, it had closed after lunch. Starving. What to do? The biker bar /​pub looked cool from the outside, but it was packed, and really dark inside. So stumbled into The Finishing Touch next door, with their bistro Rhapsody. Very bright, interesting décor. She had the turkey and Swiss on marble rye, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a picture perfect grilled cheese and mango-​strawberry smoothie. Homemade cookies as well. Friendly, prompt service, great food, very nice atmosphere. And literally right down the street from the Wayne museum. Highly recommend.
