Great happy hour and half price off all bottles of wine on Thursday nights. Love the back area past the bar, there are sofas and high top tables. One of my go to places for drinks with girlfriends and the best truffle fries around. Other great bar snacks are the asparagus fries and the caprese flatbreads. The service is always great

I have been craving a good hamburger for days. After work I called an establishment to place an order but they had me on way to long. I then thought about Marlow’s and called them up. Ordered me a medium rare hamburger and the wonderful fried okra. The hamburger was cooked just right! It was big and juicy and oh my goodness it was so damn good, Everything blended well together and I just enjoyed my burger. I am full and my mouth watering writing about that burger! Wooo Weee. Thanks for a great dinner!

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh… It’s okay I guess. Convenient. Got the burger and it tasted bland. I would only go if you have family members and want to meet up with them for brunch.

First time there, we were given kettle chips with diced tomatoes, chopped bacon & blue cheese crumbles with a blue cheese dressing from the General Manager. It was amazing. We ordered the fondue appetizer with soft pretzels. The pretzels were warm and delicious. The cheese fondue was lacking a thicker cheese. It seemed to be diluted. I ordered the burger melt and opted to switch from American cheese to Swiss. It’s basically a much better version of the Frisch melt you get at Steak ‘n Shake. I would recommend this!

I’m not going to lie, I was a little hesitant as I approached this place but don’t judge a book by its cover! Food was great! Service was great! Happy hour specials were decent & it has its own parking lot! I definitely plan to visit Marlow’s Tavern again!

When you see the word Tavern, you may think it’s not a good place to bring the kids. Put those concerns to the side as Marlow’s is for everyone! Brought the family for the first time and they did not disappoint. I had a burger melt, and ordered a medium cooked burger that was done very well(not«well done» mind you). Also I tried the grit cakes that are grits/cheese compacted into squared patty’s and deep fried. They were an adventurous side to say the least. My wife had the chicken panini. She had some trouble keeping in one piece, but it tasted great. The kids had chicken fingers, mac and cheese, and fries. The fries are really good as I kept stealing them. The service was very good, as our server Sky took very good care of us. A nice treat was when the chef came and treated us to a serving of chips covered in gorgonzola cheese, bacon, tomato just for being a first timer! The prices of the food is on par with many burger joints so you wont break the bank. If I had to nit-pick anything, the cocktails are a little higher priced then most places, plus the automatic sink and paper towel machines won’t work when I visited in what I would call a VERY clean bathroom. Minor details. I’ll be back again, that’s for sure.

My boyfriend and I both were stuck in our offices from sun up to sun down. We met up for a late dinner and stumbled upon Marlow’s on May 23rd around 10:00PM. Ashley was our server at the bar, and she was INCREDIBLE! She actually shook our hands and introduced herself-I have never before had a server shake my hand! You could tell she was passionate and very knowledgeable about her job and Marlow’s as a whole. I got the steak salad and it was amazing. The tomatoes were so fresh and flavorful. My boyfriend told her to pick what side he got with his black and blue burger, and she picked the fried cheese grits which were phenomenal! If there is any sort of employee recognition program, PLEASE recognize her! We truly had a perfect experience and were so appreciative of her sweet down to earth nature after our long days. Yay Ashley!!! We will be back!

I’ve eaten at Marlow’s Tavern a few times, but my most recent visit was my first Sunday brunch. The food is fairly standard, with a varied selection of omelettes, benedicts, etc. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $ 10 – 15 for an entrée. They also offer two sandwiches for those of you who prefer a burger over eggs. They have a pretty wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, but there are no good drink specials for brunch. Most brunch spots in Orlando have at least one special, like $ 3 mimosas or all-you-can-drink for $ 10 or something. Without any specials, Marlow’s isn’t really a great place to get brunch drunk. But otherwise, everything else is OK.

Awesome service, great food, phenomenal staff. I have been here before. I took my mother today for a early mothers day lunch, she had never been. The chef personally came out and said hi, and provided us with a complimentary appetizer to try out. If your liking for a good meal with a awesome environment, check out Marlows Tavern

Outstanding! Came here for a friends bday and I will admit my expectations were not too high but the reviews said otherwise, so I gave it a try. Damn! those shrimp n’ grits were perfection! It was actually sad to see my plate deplete slowly but surely. We had a pretty big party and the service was on point, the outdoor seating was aesthetically pleasing and the food is really where it’s at! Definitely can’t wait to come back!

I originally planned to go out to brunch with some girlfriends at another location but the wait was over an hour! With the help of Unilocal!we stumbled upon Marlow’s. We walk in from a glorious sunny Florida day to a really dark restaurant/pub. Our eyes had to adjust it was such a difference. We sit down and are greeted by a really friendly waiter! We start with mimosas & other champagne drinks, perfect for brunch! We were dying for the waffles but they were already out by the time we got in, bummer! We got French dip sandwiches & fries. The food came out and our meat was so rare! Usually they ask temperature but even if you wanted medium this was just undercooked and the fries were pretty cold. I think the meal might have been left out a bit before getting to us. Our server was great about it and got us new sandwiches but it was awkward getting food after other were already done eating so I ended up boxing it to go.

Wow! I ordered the chicken chopped salad because it didn’t have tomatoes on it. I have acid reflux, but when they served me the salad it had tomatoes on top. I was hungry so I started pushing the tomatoes to the side of the plate. The manager noticed and came to apologize and see if he could make me a fresh salad. Wow! Wow! I don’t think that has ever happened to me before. Great attention to detail.

Came here for a Meet Up group introduction. Amble parking, kewl casal décor– luv the ceiling wood beams and metal corner beams. Comfortable seating and spacious patio area. Tasty sliders altho John plate had ketchup and mustard but I had 2 ketchup. Maybe I had 2 request mustard. Carl fries were hot but mine weren’t. Ordered red wine Stef said was good, her glass had more in it than mine. Well since I’m a light weight drinker, guess it was 4 my good. I would have mentioned it to the server, when asked«how is everything» but she didn’t. I’m still on the fence if I will return 2MT.

Hail the Baby Kale Caesar with Salmon, BABY! Met my friends for late lunch and drinks here a few weeks ago on a Saturday so we started with the asparagus fries– love anything asparagus and these were cooked perfectly crispy and served just the right temp. Marlow’s has some cool crafted cocktails but a place that serves a proper New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc will win me over anytime! I had the White Haven-my friend liked so well she ordered a glass, too. Now on to the entire inspiration for my review– the Caesar! First I cut into the salmon because if you don’t cook this fish right, you must send it back immediately. I ordered mine grilled and it was perfectly seared, grill marks and all, cooked medium to well as I’d requested and seasoned with a slight citrus flavor that complimented the housemade dressing on the greens which consisted of chopped fresh baby kale and delicate romaine. Here’s the coup d’état– white cheddar GRIT croûton! When you bite into it, you get this cheesy polenta-like deliciousness. And I thought I was getting a boring lunch salad-nice to be blown away by A Caesar and Sauv Blanc! Lots of other reasons I love Marlow’s… happy hour specials, knowledgeable servers, Sunday BLOODYMARY bar, casual sofas and chairs for relaxing and chilling with friends over wine or beer… but I think the thing that I love most is that they just serve really delicious food and aren’t pretentious about it at all.

This was my first time here. My girlfriend and I stopped by on Wednesday Feb 3rd on a whim. We sat at the bar, though plenty of tables were open. Our servers were great, and they made a few recommendations which we were happy to accept. It was ladies night, so they had a few small plate appetizers. we went with the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Fresh Burrata Mozzarella. Both tasted perfect, and later the manager came up to us after learning it was our first time here. He gave us a 3rd app of the JT’s Kettle Chips, which I was happy about as I have seen many people here rave about, all for good reason! For the entrée, I went with the recommended Black and Blue Burger. Cooked to perfection with ample amounts of Gorgonzola and Apple-Wood-Smoked Bacon. My girlfriend(after all these apps!) went with the Ahi Tuna Poke(we had some fun seeing if it was pronounced«poke» or «po-kay» and learned both were acceptable) The Ahi Tuna was fresh and served with Avocado, Teriyaki Glaze, Scallion and Crispy Wonton. Pure deliciousness! We were so full, so we passed on dessert but the crème brûlée looked tempting! I will be trying this place again. I would like to try the other things on the menu real soon. Also, here’s a hint. Join their club and get $ 10 off $ 30 or more!

This is a chain but I have to say they have pretty darn good food. I had a chicken sandwich which wasn’t amazing, I should have had the burger but I wanted to keep more on the healthy side. My mate had that it looked amazing. They also had some excellent real kosher style dill pickles that were real deli quality. The service was very good, the guy filled my ice tea up more than I ever needed. If you need to pick a chain place to grab a meal this is recommended.

Found Marlows Tavern to be an exceptionally likable little place that feels like a small neighborhood hang out. Tried this place on a Wednesday night after 7 o’clock and it wasn’t too busy. The manager, a gentleman named Mike, came over to our table with an appetizer order of kettle chips topped with blue cheese, green onion, and bacon bits. This was a complimentary tapas sized appetizer which was just perfect! Because we were really hungry we also ordered the crab and shrimp nachos and the jalapeño corn muffins for an appetizer. We went a little crazy for two people, and by the time our entrées came out we were both a bit full. My husband tried the ribs with deep-fried macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and more jalapeño corn muffins. I had the shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. The grits are formed into cakes and fried a little to make a nice crust, but soft on the inside. I would love to come back to Marlow’s for a happy hour or another special event. The front room which is an air-conditioned patio area has some sofas and coffee tables, nice for a happy hour and lounging. Great low-key atmosphere here, very low pressure and relaxing to come here for a weeknight dinner or a happy hour.

I came here for Sunday brunch with a group of 10 friends. While Marlow’s does not take brunch reservations, we were advised that if we came in when they opened(11:30AM) on Sunday, it would be easy for us to get a great table. That worked! We were seated at a long high-top in their sunroom, which was bright, spacious and modern. I prefer that area over the darker dining area and bar, although I think the ambiance of the dining room would be nice in the evening. The food here was great! I ordered the fried asparagus, the fish tacos, okra and a bloody mary. I loved that the fried okra was WHOLE rather than sliced into bite-sized pieces… it made for a fun, fry-like finger food. And my 2 fish tacos were pretty perfect, with just enough seasoning and plentiful portions of fish. They definitely didn’t skimp. Everyone else seemed to love their food. Other folks ordered the shrimp & grits, the ricotta pancakes, the grilled chicken panini, JT’s Kettle Chips and the Champagne of Breakfasts(that looked AMAZING and came with a bottle of the high life… hilarious). The Bloody Mary bar was great. There were 5 different Bloody Mary mixes, including Zing Zang, my typical go-to. There were soooo many fix-ins, like, celery, baby carrots, 3 different types of stuffed olives, bacon, hot sauces, baby corn and even SLIMJIMS. Best Bloody Mary Bar I’ve seen in a few years. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed this venue. I’ll be back!

I had a great visit at Marlows. Their menu was more varied than I expected with burgers, seafood, great appetizers, and specialty plates. We ordered the hummus appetizer which was very flavorful and came with abundant pita bread and lots of fresh veggies. I also ordered the black bean veggie burger which was really great. Portions are large and I was impressed with the quality of the food. The service was good, but what was really impressive was the management staff. We were greeted by a manager who brought out a plate of their specialty kettle chips for the table since it was our first visit. Based on other reviews, it sounds like this is a consistent thing, but it was a nice surprise and very appreciated. Later, a second manager came to our table and offered us free desert since our bar service was slower than normal. I understand that service can be slow sometimes, but really appreciate when a restaurant gives a small gesture to show the customer they care. It was very nice. I’ll be back to Marlows! Good for happy hour drinks and apps or dinner.

The menu at Marlow’s features a selection of American tavern fare with a combination of classic dishes that include everything from burgers to wraps to shrimp and grits. The inside design is focused on modern comfort utilizing a black and white motif to create a sleek fashionable look. That overall look and design is accented by black and white photographs and Chicago style brick walls at most locations. A neighborhood feel is also accomplished with an open kitchen that invites diners to observe the chefs at work and communal tables surround the bar areas. Each Marlow’s also features several flat screen TVs that are discreetly incorporated, «in-the-round», allowing guests to enjoy a variety of shows while they dine. J.T.‘s Kettle Chips are crispy potato chips topped with Gorgonzola cheese, bacon, Roma tomato and scallions, and are a great way to start your meal. While I applaud the effort, the Truffled Parmesan Fries really lacked any serious flavor, they were OK, but just kind of plain. I was however, impressed with the Prime Rib French Dip. This was moist, tender and flavorful down to the last bite. Burgers are a strong point for Marlow’s and the Tavern Burger is no exception. Thick, juicy and delicious. The Roast Turkey Club with organic turkey, avocado spread, baby arugula, Roma tomato, apple-wood smoked bacon and provolone on a Toasted Ciabatta bun was simple yet good. I am a big fan of Shrimp & Grits, so I almost always try them out if they are offered at any restaurant. The white cheddar grit cake and spinach combined with succulent shrimp at Marlow’s is top notch. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap may sound ordinary, but with spicy chicken, shredded lettuce, tomato, jalapeño jack cheese, ranch dressing in a grilled tortilla, I can assure you its no ordinary wrap
