Visited today for a quick lunch with my mom. Even though the florida heat is killer this time of year, we decided to sit outside under the covered patio, which had a few fans. I ordered the roast beef au jus and she had a pear, blue cheese, and brisket wrap. My roast beef was delish and came on fresh French bread and was stuffed with juicy roast beef and sweet caramelized onions. The brisket pear wrap though was the sparkling jewel of the meal though: so tender and absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back to try the quiche that my waiter recommended.

We’ve been back to Dylan’s several times. Most recently, a friend was visiting from out of town. He is considering moving to the area and wanted to try someplace outside of the tourist areas. We planned on catching up and chatting, so naturally I thought of Dylan’s! We sat outside and had the same delicious, fresh food as the other times we’ve been. Our friend was more then impressed. He is more used to a cultural/artsy scene and Dylan’s fit right in to his quaint lifestyle :) Dylan’s really didn’t disappoint on flavor and we sat for over an hour chatting and enjoying the patio. Still love this place! The crepes are always amazing.

First time here. Met the new owner, JP, who brought me up to speed on the changes. New paint, brighter. Changing the wine area to a bakery, awesome. Now serving breakfast. We also spoke about the French countryside, and it made me long for that part of the world. The Beef Brisket was served on fresh bread and I paired it with the Cucumber Salad. The meat was tender and the bread was crunchy. I will be sure to come back and you should come here as well.

I have only been to Dylan’s Deli twice and both times have been excellent. Tonight, I had the special, which was a pulled pork and mushroom wrap(wrap was tomato, I think). The pulled pork and mushrooms complemented each other nicely, neither flavor was overwhelming. The pulled pork was very tender and not served with a BBQ sauce, which I liked. They actually served it with a homemade aioli and buffalo sauce, which definitely had a little kick at the end. The owner(can’t remember his name) is very friendly and helped me pick out what I wanted to drink, which ended up being a red cognac… perfect for the end of a long day. He is also attentive to diners, always making sure that I had enough to drink or eat. The first time I went with husband and we shared the croque madam(or monsieur, I can’t remember) but it was definitely tasty. It was awhile ago so that’s all that I can say about it. The only tiny thing that I have to say is that sometimes when I try to eat there, it’s not open. I’m not sure why because they have reasonable hours. Also, there is free wi-fi so I’m actually writing my review from Dylan’s Deli, after I had done a little bit of work. I definitely didn’t feel rushed.

I was looking forward to going here, because of the many ultra-positive reviews and the fact that they had gazpacho as the soup of the day. The gazpacho was underwhelming. I think it had too many unripe tomatoes in it. Then we split a large Orlando sandwich. The flavors were good, but I had a sticker on the bottom of my sandwich, so, yeah… It was an ok lunch, overall. Nothing that is making me plan a trip back anytime soon.

Had takeout here. The prosciutto and tomato sandwich was excellent.

Great atmosphere, food, and service. I ordered the cream of zucchini and the Orlando sandwich. Both items were delicious. The services was great. The waitress made sure my tea was full and that I liked the food. Will definately go back.

DD! How have I not been here seventeen-thousand times before? It’s cute, quaint, clean and the staff is lovely. Did I mention everything is delicious? They have free WiFi = westell1653 — SCORE! I started with the potato and onion soup of the day and none of their soups are cream based… WIN! It was delicious, fresh and so flavorful. There were so many sandwiches and crepes, I didn’t know where to start and then the name«Orlando» stood out and I had to go for it. I was craving some meat and this was a veggie sammie so I added Turkey… I suggest doing so, delicious and hearty. Orlando on Wheat: Tomato, lettuce, cucumbers, caramelized onions, mushrooms, cheese. Now… the caramelized onions and mushrooms are not puny, they are huge and bursting with flavor. I was blown away by the fresh cuts of everything and the thinly sliced Turkey I added. Now I got the small but I swear it was 8 inches even though it was supposed to be 6. And the wheat bread basically melted in my mouth it was so fresh and soft. I was going to take half of it home for dinner but it was so good before I blinked it was all gone. Just a brilliant little lunch stop you really must experience it for yourself. Now, there are other lunch options around including a chain sub stop… don’t you dare pass this place up! It is really your loss if you do. I love the homey and local feel, the staff really wants your experience to be fabulous. If it’s slow they will come to you wherever you sit but if it’s busy, just head to the counter to order then sit. Quick, delicious and great prices!

This place has to be my favorite lunch spot in central florida. I’ve been 3 times and it has been a stellar experience every time. My average is about $ 11 for half a sandwich, a cup of the soup of the day and a beverage. Worth every penny. The venue is quaint and rustic. Wooden floors crack and squeak when you walk around. Very, very charming. The staff is always attentive and friendly. The food comes out hot and quick. As a professional chef myself I am always impressed when I get my food and it is seasoned properly. Sounds simple, but how often do we eat out and have to grab the salt shaker? Not here, the chef knows how to season! I strongly recommend Dylan’s to anyone who asks about a great place to eat. Keep doing what you’re doing! Ian R.

Alright, I love this place! I’ve been 4 times now, and I’m going again in a few days. Simple and perfectly executed, this place has me magnetically drawn to it’s Euro charms. And it seems others feel the same way. Today I tried the Valencia with Sweet Potato soup. It was a deeply satisfying meal. I felt invigorated upon jetting away. I think my next conquest will be either the Berlin, the Florence or the Dylan’s Panini. There’s so much I want to try that it’s hard to settle upon each visit. The staff is always very appreciative and attentive. A+++!

My girlfriend and I went for dinner with a coupon from to get the tapas menu. The staff and the food were equally great. We shared fresh pumpkin soup, Forester quiche, artichoke hearts stuffed with chopped salad, two types of crostini and the best chantilly cake with fresh berries. The owner was fantastic to speak with. He was really proud of the freshness of his ingredients and challenged us to figure out the secret ingredient in the pumpkin. It turned out to be ripe peaches which was something new for both of us. He kind of reminded me of Gabriele from Extra Virgin on the Cooking Channel. I know one is French, the other Italian, but they’re very similar guys in my estimation in terms of being proud of their native food and making great dishes with local ingredients.

Oh my goodness, thanks to my fellow Unilocalers for pointing me to this gem. With wonderful weather in the 70s my friends and I chose to sit outside on the patio. The owner greeted us and then our server took over. A friend and I chose the French panini and our other friend the Dylan panini. I will say our server mixed up my sandwich with my friend’s Dylan, but we just switched the other halves, so it was a happy accident. I loved both sandwiches and so did she. And the french bread was tres magnifique!!! A little French deli in the heart of Winter Park, what more could you ask for? Can’t wait to go back!

Not much I can add to this because I agree with all the other positive reviews. Thanks to Unilocaler’s I’m discovering great places to eat and Dylan’s is no exception. I can relate to Jeff K. — as I was eating the Paris on French sandwich I was jonesin’ over my lunch buddies New Yorker! I love quality carbs and their bread hits the spot. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is relaxing. The iced tea needs some tweaking IMO but they did say others had complained and would be changing it? If I didn’t have to go back to work I would have loved to try the Chardonnay — wah! Dylan’s is a definite repeat!

I wish I lived closer to this place. Or in it. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ve never been disappointed by the sandwiches. My first visit, which got me hooked and ended up luring me back the very next day for lunch even though I live in East Orlando, was the Paris on French. Oh man. Amazing, crunchy/soft french bread. The perfect size and the perfect amount of fresh meats and some sort of herb butter that rounded it out beautifully and instantaneously made me want to come back to try something else, even though I hadn’t even finished THIS sandwich! I had also ordered a cup of their pea soup, which came out first. It was great! I finished it off just as the sandwich came, and I immediately regretted getting both, because it was now inevitable that I was going to eat too much. But of course, I ate it all. It was just too good to stop. The next day I drove all the way back and tried the Berlin. Equally amazing, equally delicious. Almost like a Reuben, but better. I’ve also tried the Philadelphia, so tender and beautifully seasoned. Dylan’s is decorated nicely, too. I love the exposed wooden beams offset by the white ceiling and the wooden arches. Marble and wood tables fit nicely into the décor, and I don’t know what you call the style of the paint on the walls, but it has a rustic unevenness about it that I love. I want my house to look like this. I’ll be back many more times.

This gem is a perfect spot for some great lunch. They offer a special for ½ of a small sandwich plus soup or salad. I actually ordered a Crock Madame and their mushroom cream soup. Their mushroom cream soup was amazing! The texture, consistency and flavor was spot on and they provide awesome homemade croutons. The sandwich, I feel I had it better, but it is not bad. It is on a french bread rather than slices of bread that I was excepting. Overall, I would definitely be a regular here.

Un des meilleurs endroits où j’ai été dans un temps long! What a wonderful time I had tonight at Dylan’s. It was a rare treat in this fair town littered with fast food and tourist traps. Dylan is a French Bistro located on one of the best streets for food in Orlando near The Ravenous Pig and The Winter Park Fish Company. Dylan’s has wonderful outside seating and a cute little bar. The place is owned by a Frenchman and his Spanish wife. I have been there for dinner and lunch. For dinner I had a cheese plate with 3 different types of cheeses. The owner took the time to explain each cheese to us. The cheese plate was served with 4 types of french bread all homemade and fresh fruit. We also ordered dates wrapped in bacon which were great. For lunch, I ordered the French sandwich served on pressed french bread with goat cheese, turkey, and ham. YUM! The service was a little strange, but we soon realized that we had to order from the bar. All was well after that. I really love this place and will be back for happy hour and wine tastings. MERVEILLEUX!

Dylan’s was a nice find, just steps away from the Very Hungry Pig in WP. I never noticed it until I went to the RP a few nights ago. I don’t know that is really a deli. It’s a small restaurant with mostly high-top or bar seating and at-the-counter ordering. They offer crepes, paninis, sandwiches and salads that should please anyone. It’s a groovy little spot with exposed wooden beams and a small outdoor seating area. Service was friendly and they made me feel at home. I ran into a couple of fellow Unilocal Elites there, although I wouldn’t have known it if I hadn’t checked in. They had just checked in before me. I stopped by for only a few seconds to say hello to them. I sinned! I’m a pescatarian and I read through the menu too quickly, ordering a Valencia: tuna, ham, olives, onions and manchego cheese, with cole slaw. I didn’t even notice the ham listed, but it was gosh-darned good. I ordered a large sandwich — big mistake, since I could only eat half. The cole slaw was creamy and delightful. Two good-sized glasses of chardonnay topped off the meal. If you are a student or a Florida Hospital employee, there’s a 10% discount! If Dylan’s teetered between a four and a five star, I’d move them up to a five: I tried to tip them and they wouldn’t take it! A good day.

Finally stopped in for lunch here the other day and we were not disappointed. In fact we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We spilt the daily special sandwich of brisket and onions and cheese on a wheat baguette. This sandwich was huge — so ½ each was more than enough food. The meat was flavorful and tender as can be and the sandwich was nicely balanced between the richness of the meat, the sweetness of the onions and the saltiness of the cheese. We were too full to try any of the desserts but another table had the pastry sampler and it looked wonderful. We were told he has them flown in directly from France. Service was prompt and friendly. Inside seating is at either high top tables or counter seats which means you have no choice but to sit on stools — something I personally find uncomfortable. But we did notice outside seating at regular height tables for future visits. This is a really nice option for a European bistro style meal.

Dylan’s Deli = Delightful neighborhood café! This quaint deli is nestled inside a cute little free standing building along Orange Ave(next to the Ravenous Pig)! Dylan’s Deli is not your typical deli… it’s like a brunch/lunch café with European flair. When I took my first bite of my Italian Panini, it actually reminder me of the paninis I used to order when I was studying in Italy. In our overly processed and preserved food industry, we’ve come to expect certain textures and flavors. Dylan’s deli offers very fresh sandwiches, quiches, crepes, waffles, paninis, soups and salads. Each of the menu items has a special flair. Their coffee was also wonderful!!! The food is fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Italian panini but asked for it without the Pepperoni and Pastrami and on different bread. They were extremely accommodating to my special requests. The owner asked if I wanted any additional veggies instead. My boyfriend ordered one of the veggie crepes and said it was delicious. Their portions are small so I don’t recommend going there when you’re starving. The sweet crêpe we had was strawberry, banana and nutella. Yumm! Even more, I just felt like I wanted to stay there for hours… reading and chatting with the welcoming owners. Dylan’s deli is welcoming, fresh and reasonably priced. Step into a corner of Europe and delight in simple neighborhood freshness. Next Saturday, May 21st, they are hosting their grand opening on their patio!!! Support Dylan’s Deli!!! Support local businesses!!!

Sweet God, this place is phenomenal. Owned by a French guy and his Spanish wife, they make breakfasts(french toast, waffles, crepes, croissants, sandwiches, quiche, pastries) fresh every morning. They also have a lunch menu consisting of sandwiches, daily organic soups, and others, including a brisket sandwich where the meat is tenderized for 16 hours! Add all of that to the best french toast and the best coffee and espresso I have ever had(coffee is offered for free at the moment due to their recent opening!!)…this place is a MUST!
