Good prices. Good ice cream and custard. Friendly service, even after our 10 year old spilled sprinkles all over the floor.

After seeing some good reviews, I was excited to try their custard. I go crazy for Culver’s custard, but there are no Culver’s near me. They have a nice big menu with supposed«daily» flavors. I ordered a peppermint patty custard and my husband got praline. The custard tasted stale and it tasted like they mixed straight up mint extract in it-it had the alcohol burn of mint extract. It didn’t even have the smooth creamy texture you expect from custard – it was more grainy/icy. The custard was so bad, my husband and I got in a fight about it on the way home. He is now convinced McDonald’s soft-serve is superior to custard.

I stopped in here recently after a friend told me how good it was. Not a big variety of ice cream flavors… approximately 6. I picked the turtle. I paid and said thank you. The person who waited on me replied with«yup». Another girl brought my ice cream and they both hurried into the back room. The ice cream was very icy and tasted old. I was very disappointed and will not return and definately will not recommend it to my friends.

Refreshing ice cream/Italian ice treats for family after Legoland Experience. Steelers theme made it even better.

We were looking for a local place for ice cream after visiting Legoland and found KC’s on Unilocal. It’s located at the end of a small strip center less than a mile from the park. There was a model train running along the ceiling which the 5-year old loved. There was also a woman making balloon animals there and she made him a very cool airplane. The staff was friendly and helpful and service was quick. I had the hot fudge brownie sundae. The ice cream was standard but the brownie was great. The 5-year old got his ice cream in a sprinkle waffle cone which we got to enjoy, while his mom got the Elephant Stomp ice cream, which is peanut butter cup. She raved about it. I almost took a star away because there was Steelers paraphernalia on the walls, but unless you’re a Browns fan like us it shouldn’t bother you. Recommend this place to anyone visiting Legoland.

Never been before and I wanted some ice cream, looked like a great place. For $ 5.50 I had the misfortune of receiving a cookies and cream cone that tasted like bubble gum and a «homemade» chocolate dipped waffle cone that tasted like freezer burn. What a horrible experience.

Every time we come to WH, we stop at KC’s for frozen custard. Can’t get frozen custard too easily in CA. This stuff is so good and the owner Kristie, is super nice. Had the peanut butter cookie dough — YUM! The frozen custard is homemade and they have regular ice cream too, but why wouldn’t you get the frozen custard??? Yes sir, this is as good as it gets in Winter Haven!

If you’re looking for great ice cream while visiting Cypress Gardens or Splash Island, be sure to check out nearby KC’s Big Dipper. All their ice cream is homemade, and sooooo tasty! I had a Hot Fudge Sundae milkshake, which was incredible, and the small nearly defeated me – and their chocolate ice cream is to die for.
