NYPD Pizzeria

NYPD has my favorite pizza in central Florida. I have been to a few of the locations and I must say that this one has the worst staff. The older gentleman making the pizzas and the young blonde are very friendly but every other time I am practically ignored at the counter trying to pick up my order. The last time I went a man was leaning with his back facing guests against the counter while on his phone. There is also an older woman who operates the cash register and answers the phone and every time I call I am immediately placed on hold. I understand if you are helping a customer in person it is polite to help them first but it is also polite to ask «Hi, may I please put you on hold?» and wait for the persons answer rather than saying nothing at all. Overall, great service if you’re willing to deal with the below average staff.

TWO FOR TUESDAY! Best deal ever. Buy one pizza, get one cheese pizza free on Tuesdays. My friends and I split these, and I went home with a lot of leftovers.
I love their baked ziti pizza. It is so wonderful, and pretty much what you would expect.
We upgraded to create our own pizza for the second one, since they have great topping options like broccoli, meatballs and garlic!
Only four stars because their dishes like chicken Marsala and chicken Parmesan are not good.
If you go here, get the pizza!!!

Food is always good, love the buffalo pizza, but I get sick of ordering food here as the staff always sounds irritated when they take an order (almost as if they dislike you being in their presence), this has been like this every time I have been this location.

The crust! I really liked the chewy and tasty crust offered in their pies! We tried a few different pies to serve a larger group, and most of were tasty.

Been ordering pizza here for a while. Really good NY style thin crust pizza. Had the calzone tonight and wow! A little pricey as you pay for each topping inside but it was really good. Won’t do it a lot as the pizza is a better daily value but the calzone is amazing if you are willing to pay a little extra and it is worth it!

Real NY pizza. Smells great. Tastes great. NY atmosphere including those that run it. Love it! Gets a crowd.

Excellent Gluten Free Pizza. Jackie and Pauli make you feel like the are welcoming you into their home.

We come to this location frequently and are never disappointed. We have a friend from out of town who is obsessed with the Sicilian and it’s a must have every time he is here. We stopped in this evening to get three pizzas for carry out. Even though our wait was longer than normal the staff made the experience enjoyable and the wait seem much shorter. The pizzas were also wonderful when we got them home !

Every time we come to the Clermont area we try to get in here. A small place (only twenty tables) but good food. The theme is New York law enforcement right down to all the decorating. I believe the owner is a retired police officer.
I often have the Stromboli. Always good and baked just right. Not over cooked. Most places have a tendency to burn them. I get extra marinara because it’s so good.
The pizza is good as well, and of course, you must eat it New York style. The crusts are hand tossed and baked to perfection. Build your own and enjoy.
They have homemade zeppole’s. We generally take some home and have them later.
Overall a nice neighborhood place with good food, and reasonably priced. Service is normally good, but like any place, can sometimes be dicey. They generally staff it with high school kids. So give them a break and help them learn.

Good NY Style Pizza– the crust needs olive oil or to cut some butter in the dough… overall very good… the service and setting is very NY with Frank singing great NY tunes. The Zepolis are way too dense and way to much powdered sugar. one was very doughy and very oily tasting– the dough had absorbed too much oil. the great news is they have Juniors Cheesecake on the Menu– wow I hope they get it directly from NY. I will definitely order that for dessert next time. The white pizza slice was very good as was the pepperoni slice… enjoy.

This is the kind of business I like to frequent. The owners Paulie and Jackie are right there taking care of things. I don’t care when I go there the owners are always there making sure the food is just right. This business is there life!
I know it says, NYPD Pizza on the sign but they don’t make the typical pizza that you would get at most NYPD chain restaurants. Paulie owned his own pizza place in NY and brought the real thing with him. This is not NYPD pizza!
The NY style pizza tastes just like I remember as a kid. They make the best side Greek salad I’ve ever eaten anywhere and the service is excellent. You can tell the people that work there put their hearts into what they do.
My wife is Gluten Free and I’ll tell you if you think it’s hard to find good pizza you should try to find good GF pizza. It’s nearly impossible! Most taste like cardboard. Paulie has the secret. Not only does he make fabulous wheat pizza but his GF is the best my wife has ever eaten. If you are GF make sure you try their GF pizza and ask for extra crispy crust.

This place was a surprise to me. The service was good (thanks Nichole). The pizza was delicious!!! The young man in back was twirling the dough and fresh veggies! Ready to go back!!!

Love this NYPD Pizza. It’s my ‘go to’ pizza spot. The margarita with extra ricotta is the bomb. Salads are very tasty too. I always do take-​out, yet their dine in room is nice and their staff is great. My favorite pizza spot in town.

Never disappoints! Best pizza around — don’t be fooled — pay the few extra dollars for the best. You won’t regret it.

Solely based on my food which was a meatballs sub and fries. Cooked to perfection best bread I’ve had in florida since I’m from Jersey will come back for more food.

Service always friendly but, a little slow. Food is great it’s a neighborly place and I love that!

Great atmosphere and service. We had the Tuesday special and were very pleased. Although the place was packed, the service was excellent and food was on point. The menu is sufficient for even the pickiest. Great for kids or for catching up with friends… Beer and wine available. Reasonably priced $$ We truly enjoyed.

This is hands down the best pizza in FL. I don’t know if they use different ingredients than other NYPD pizzas, but it is way better than other NYPD’s I’ve tried.
The service has always been good. Most servers I’ve seen there are young, college or high school age, and are very sweet.
My kids love their pepperoni pizzas and I love their white pizza. Their Oreo stuffed zeppolis are to die for. Do not leave without a bag of what we like to call sugar heaven.

Food amazing
I’m from PA and finding good pizza in Florida is hit or miss … It was like getting pizza from home :)
