First time here, we had a flounder sandwich and club sandwich. Food was very good. Homemade chips and fries were perfect sides. Service was excellent, will be back

I rarely eat out at lunch during the week and try to pack as much as possible to save money, control my portions and eat healthily. Silvia’s Honey Tree Restaurant certainly helps with the saving money part because the prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge(so much for controlling portions). You can eat a healthy meal here, because they are always willing to customize your order and all the food seems to be prepared to order. I agree with other reviewers that the food is simple, nothing fancy in preparation or presentation, but it is always well prepared. This is a family owned«Greek style» restaurant with a large menu(with several non Greek items like the classic American Reuben and some Italian, Mexican items as well). Today I ate with my husband and two colleagues who have become good friends. I could not locate an online menu so the titles of the items we ate are from memory and may not be accurate, My husband had the Gyro Platter. It consists of 4 ample pieces of breast chicken, a large slice of pita and Greek salad. It is served with Greek dressing and a small cup of Tzatziki Sauce. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, if not a bit salty. The Greek salad was freshly made with a tasty dressing. It would have been over dressed for me, but was perfect for my husband! The Tzatziki Sauce is not very good and just tasteless. He cleaned his plate and was very satisfied. Friend # 1 had an appetizer, the smothered french fries, as her meal and split it with Friend #2. It consisted of a huge plate of fries covered with cheese and bacon. The fries were crispy and tasty and the dish looked appetizing. Everyone tasted and enjoyed this dish. I thought the fries would be greasy but they were not. Friend #2 had a Chef salad. It was the basic recipe but all ingredients were fresh. She couldn’t eat it all and asked for a to go box. The server was happy to oblige. I ordered my usual as I eat here about once a month. The Strawberry Chicken Salad also had mandarin oranges, craisins, pecans and comes with a recommended raspberry dressing. The dressing looks kind of gelatinous and the first time I had it I thought I wouldn;t like it based on appearance, but it is quite good with the salad. I always order a side of feta cheese because there is no cheese on the salad. Other dishes come with a pretty good size cup of feta, so before you add it(costs about $ 2 to add) check your dining companions dishes. Its obvious that I love this salad because I order it every time. We often have working lunches here and there can be as many as 10 of us dining together. They always accommodate us and if we call ahead they have the table ready even though they don’t take reservations. I read other reviews that were not positive, but the servers have always been friendly and the owners have always responded professionally to any concern about the bill or our food. I have only had lunch there and maybe a different crew on dinner or breakfast, I don’t know. If you are looking for a kid/family friendly, clean restaurant with a varied menu, give Silvia’s a try.

The food was simple but perfect, and I’ve never had better service in my life. If you come, try the key lime pie!

Excellent food. Not bad pricing. Excellent staff! You can tell the owners take pride in their business as the food is amazing. They also care about their customers and have really good attitudes. The restaurant itself is a very nice, clean, warming atmosphere with a lovely waterfall. I will for sure be going back. :) :)

My dad took me here for a Valentines lunch. I had never heard of this place before so it was a wonderful treat to get to experience this establishment. The wait staff was friendly. Especially the waitress that waited on our table, I believe her name was Caitlyn. The place itself was clean and had a awesome water wall feature that was peaceful to look at! Now on to the food. I had the Meatballs, which had the meatballs laying on top of a bed of meat sauce and was covered in layers of cheese. I highly recommended this dish. It came with a side salad that was very nicely put together with a variety of things in it and wasn’t like the skimpy«afterthought«side salads that you usually get at places. My dad had the southwestern omelet. Yes that right a omelet. This place had a little bit of everything on the menu. I really enjoyed my experience here and can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this place before. I wonder how long they have been around?

Server is always friendly. They have the absolute best fries. Don’t get any fish their, stick to sandwiches, pasta, and«calzones.» Hush puppies are not worth your time or teeth, as they are rock hard. Most of their other sides are decent.

Reasonably priced locally owned greek/italian place. My teenage sons had gyro and meatball subs, and enjoyed it. I had the gyro and thought it was well done as well. Good quality, quick service, no complaints at all.

Wonderful restaurant with a great family vibe! Food was delicious and service could not be better. My son enjoyed sitting by the«water wall». The tea was awesome! So many places water it down too much. My pasta was very good and the prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to next visit!

Sylvia’s is great! I just started working down the street from here & got the chance to visit Sylvia’s a few weeks ago for the first time with my uncle. Sylvia’s is a breath of fresh air in this part of town, since I really enjoy smaller, family owned businesses, as opposed to chain restaurants. Sylvia is so sweet & accomidating! Our waitresses both times have been cheery & upbeat, & extremely helpful. Overall, nothing but great customer service here! The food is good & the portions are as well. The only meat that I eat is fish, and with that being said, I have tried their fried flounder sandwich, which is great if you are looking for something more hearty. I’ve also tried their veggie wrap and pita, and both are pretty flavorful as well(you’d never believe how bland some restaurants can make their vegetarian options). Their onion rings appetizer is a MUST(& need I mention that they also have the horseradish sauce that you usally eat with onion rings if you don’t use ranch, which for some reason most restaurants no longer have that?) & their chips are great as well! Never greasy, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Definitely give Sylvia’s a try! Probably the best family-owned restaurant over in this area(I’m from Pfafftown, and this beats Southern Family by a MILE). Always nice to find a place that offers lighter and/or good vegetarian options as well :)

An unexpected surprise in this restaurant chain dominated strip of Winston Salem. Sweet staff helped us with decision making. Great Greek salad, cheesesteak and veggie calzone.

We have eaten dinner here three times over the last six months. All meals have been excellent. Huge portions and very tasty. Some of the stand-outs: the tour of Greece platter and the chicken parmigiana. Nice décor. We will be back!!!

Silvia’s honey tree is a Greek style restaurant that serves a variety of food. Tonight I had a special of the day, country fried steak. It comes with two sides. I choose the rice and hush puppies. All items were rather plain and without much taste. I do not think I will hurry back to try this meal any time soon
