This company sent out an appraiser to appraise our home for a refinance. The appraiser valued our home $ 25,000 less than the tax value and $ 25,000 less then an appraiser we contacted separately. This finance company would not fight for our best interest on the appraisal value. All we wanted to do was eliminate the mortgage insurance and the appraiser appraised our home so low we could not do that. Considering this mortgage company had no interest in helping us we stopped the refinance. I do not recommend Fairway independent mortgage company.
