Really neat place with a relaxed environment! 35 different beers on tap and about the same amount of wine available for tasting. We stopped in before dinner while we were waiting on our table and each tried a flight(where you get to pick 5 different beers of the 35 to try for $ 10). Enjoyed ourselves so much we had to stop back in after dinner. This place is definitely worth a try! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

What can I say what a great spot in Winston downtown. Wine and beer on tap and the selection is great. Family owned and operated and you feel like part of the family. Mark is great and always a pleasure to talk with. He knows his wine from the regions, soils content, grapes, years, and how the wine business is run. Everyone is always personable and that makes a difference. I have been in numerous times and will continue to go back because of a fun and relaxing time/atmosphere. Take a date here or with a bunch of friends for great conversation.

This is a great spot to stop when you are in Winston. The environment is welcoming and fun. There are many beers and wines to choose from and a variety of games to play. They have a small cooler with snacks, meats.cheeses. The people are extremely friendly. I met Mark and Daniel, on two separate occasions and both times was happy that I stopped by. I thank them for their hospitality. Will be back soon!!!

I came across this place because I was looking for Slightly Askew wine and saw that this place was listed on their website and carried their wine. It’s right on 4th street and would be a good place to bar hop. They have a nice sized bar and just a few tables. The ambience is very casual and looks to be like a nice place to grab some wine or a beer in the afternoon. They have 3 wine dispensaries on the wall that serve an ounce, 2 ounces or a glass of whichever wine they have on top. You have to buy a card and preload it to pay for the wine. Everything is priced differently and it says it right there on the machine. Very cool. I had trouble with it because it kept saying machine empty even though it clearly wasn’t. Just my luck though. The slightly askew wine was almost $ 4 more a bottle than it would be in the winery so I don’t think I’ll be going back there unless I’m really in the mood for it. Other than that the place was awesome and a great addition to the downtown scene.

I was pretty happy with CC&T! I’m not a wino… but to my virgin eye it appeared they had a great selection of wines by the glass at the bar, wines by the bottle to enjoy on site or take home or wine from The self serve machines– by the taste, pour, or glass… Pretty cool. If you are a beer person like me– they had a great 32 tap variety to serve from, as well as bottle or can selections. I would recommend as a great first or last drink stop!!!

My favorite neighborhood draft beer place. Friends like you’ll find here are always happy to see you arrive. Live music now and then, with no cover charge! AAAA++++

Very cool beer and wine shop! The guy working when we went on Sunday was very friendly and helpful. He was engaged with what we were looking for, etc. He also had some ghost pepper juice behind the bar to spice up any beer we wanted, which was very neat! We were just gonna stop in quickly but ended up staying for quite a while. The other patrons were also friendly and it was overall a great environment! Be back soon

Looking for a unique place to grab a drink? Want to enjoy your adult beverages on a cool wine-stained bar? Or atop old wine barrels? This great establishment has an awesome selection of wines and beers. So many wines from all over the world to choose from. Experience the vending-style wine dispensers that give you your choice of ounces and range from sweet to dry. For the beer connoisseur, try of their many beers on tap which changes often for variety. They have wine and beer available from all over the world to either enjoy there or to take home to enjoy later. For all of us folks that are still in mourning over the closing of Westbend Vineyard, they even offer ½ off of all Westbend wines every Wednesday! And don’t forget ½ off of all the wine machines every Thursday! Great place, great location, and huge selection. Literally something for everyone! Cheers!

Wifey and I had a lovely afternoon here with a few hours to burn in Winston Salem. Really nice selection of beers, good selection of wines, super friendly. They offer tastes before pouring and that is extremely nice. Would have been 5-stars except for lack of food options — but the owners are working on that. If you like good beer and good wine and don’t want the standard brewpub scene, definitely check this nice little place out!

This is a really nice addition to the downtown scene to get a glass or bottle of wine or sit and drink some good craft draft beer. The owner was a winemaker in New York, then worked as the winemaker at Westbend Vineyards for a while, so he has a good knowledge of wine. there are 27 or so beer taps and always a good selection of cold beer on hand. There are also 4 wine machines available so there are always 16 different bottles available to try. You can buy a bottle to take home or drink there. Want a chilled bottle? No problem! they have the cold water bath that is able to chill your bottle in 5 – 10 minutes. There isn’t a huge selection of different wines like at the«mega-Mart-Super-Wine-Store» but a nice selection and something available for every taste and price point. It’s a nice, relaxed, casual place to pop in for a glass or pint then be on your way, and I shall continue to pop in.

Really cool place to hang out and have a glass of wine or pint of beer. The smell of wine welcomes you as you walk in. Mmmmm. They have these neat self-serve wine machines. You have to load money on a card and can pick and choose what you want in 1oz, 2oz and 5oz portions. Pretty decent beer selection on tap as well. The guy working there was really helpful and fun to talk to. We will definitely come back!

Great place to hang out and grab a beer or glass of wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have wine tasting machines that will serve you one sip or one glass at a time. Or you can order from the bar.

A great little bottle shop on Fourth Street, Corks Caps And Taps is a nice addition to the ‘hood. You can get draft beer, get a growler filled, get wine by the glass OR serve yourself via the self-dispensing wine machines(1, 2, or 5 oz pours). There is FREE popcorn(with a suggested tip donation jar) that is pipped fresh from a cool old-fashioned popper and a refrigerated case full of cheeses, meats, crackers and other snacks items to enjoy with your beverage choice. The place is pretty tiny, but once you’re inside, it’s pretty cozy with some comfortable stools to sit on(TIP: the leather stools are the most comfortable). Some Saturday nights there is live music and if that’s your thing, you’ll be hard pressed not to be one of the handful of patrons dancing within a 6×8 space to the tunes. The one thing I don’t like: why does it cost $ 20+ for a growler fill? The beer selection is very eclectic with lots of NC and high gravity suds, but really? If you’re in the mood for some laid-back drinking with a friend or two, this is the perfect place.

CC&T was a last stop for our group after a night around downtown. My friend insisted on ordering in Spanish and the woman behind the counter went right along with it; totally took it in stride. If nothing else that deserves high marks. We asked for a Chilean Red wine and two were presented to our group. We decided to get both. The wines were very good. We also appreciated the popcorn machine and snacked on quite a few bags. We ended up staying a bit after they closed but we didn’t feel rushed out at all. There are plenty of places to buy wine in town but the service and knowledge offered by the folks at Corks, Caps, & Taps was very appreciated.

Went here twice last week-it’s that good! The staff is so friendly, and I just love the laid back atmosphere. I was able to try out the wine dispensers, as well as some of the food late Saturday night. Keep rocking on!

Great new spot! It is so cool to be able to taste a really expensive wine without breaking the bank and buying a whole bottle.

I was walking on 4th Street in downtown and was looking for a place to get a glass of wine. Corks, Caps and Taps was open so I thought, what the hell. It’s a new place so why not give is a shot. Wasn’t exactly sure what I would find. Man, there is a lot going on here. — It’s a pub with 24 beers on tap including Foothills options. — It’s a wine bar. Wine by the glass or you can buy a bottle — It’s a store with 6 packs of craft beer, wines and even meats and cheeses for sale They even have some cooling chamber made out of a wine barrel where you can drop your bottles of beer or wine into to cool down. It had a hypnotic glowing blue light at the bottom. I wanted to stick my hands in it like a kid but refrained from doing so. Also, they have four wine fountain machines(hell I don’t know what they are called) where you purchase a preloaded card and use it to sample wines. I believe there are three different ounces you can pour. It’s a cool place. I’m not sure it is the right place for me. I’m simple and just want to get a glass. I walked passed Corks Caps & Taps this weekend and man they had the crowd inside, so I’m probably in the minority.

I attended the ribbon cutting of the store. The owners are very friendly and the store is really nice. They carry a lot of wine and beer varieties. You can also get wine by the glass from a dispenser. I like that you could also get growlers from the taps. They have a wine chiller barrel so it is a great place to go to stop by for a bottle of wine on your way to a party. They also have several tables so you can sit and enjoy your beverage.

Really neat store! This is right next door to Skippy’s hotdogs, to give you some location context. I would definitely say wine reigns supreme here but they do have a nice smaller selection of beer. The bar is quite large and there is a good amount of tables so you could definitely pile in here for a drink before dinner or if you just wanted to sample something before you buy. They have those cool wine machines where you pay and it automatically dispenses the pour size you want. All the employees were really friendly and made the store an even better experience. They also have one of those awesome chilling barrels. You can buy a bottle of wine, pop it in there, and it will be chilled and ready to go in no time!
