Just order the burger… it is really good. And do not miss the pie. Chaeming waitress who is also the baker.

We stopped at Brewbaker’s on a Saturday eve before going to the arts center. We were intrigued by the«olde world» style entrance with its big wooden door, complete with peep hole and lots of thick iron. In we went, and there the ambiance ended. The six tables were empty except for one, and there was a lone woman sitting at the bar. The bar itself may have had some character, but who knows, as it was covered with a large flat screen playing some sports game. Oh well, we were already inside. I ordered the grilled goat cheese salad, which consisted of a plate of greens, one quarter of a tomato, 3 olives and 2 silver dollars sized rounds of grilled goat cheese. This was served with some fairly stale bread with some prepackaged edible oil product to spread over it. I also ordered hot tea, the night was cold and the black tea was good. How good was that tea? Well, the lone bag was $ 6.00, and that is not a typo! Brewbakers has another entrance coming from the front street which houses a bakery and serves wonderful lunches. I’v had the pleasure of eating wonderful salads and flavored tea followed by a scrumptious treat for dessert. The back part of the restaurant opened later, more of a dinner place, drinks and music. After waiting so long to see it, I wonder if I’d really missed something good when it first opened. Whatever that was, sadly, is gone.

Super cold drink and amazing chipotle burger. I only got the single patty and I couldn’t finish it. Great place we are from out of town.

The daily special was tomatoe bisque. Soup and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese wad untainted bread and 2 cold slices of cheese. Not my idea of a grilled chese. My friends was the same. We sent them back. The soup was excellent. But the grilled cheese certainly back the same way. They. Did finely grill my friends but not mine they knocked $ 2.00 off my Bill. Not edible.

Cute little place on Main St. Friendly staff. Food tasted good but just a little pricey for what you get. Deserts looked great but didn’t try.

It was a great small town dining experience. The wait staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was great, having a very Texas Saloon feel with country music on. The food was good and served hot & fresh. The cold beer in an ice cold mug was a great treat on a warm day. I would definitely hit it up again if I’m in Winnsboro.

Food is always great. Their tortilla soup is the best I’ve had in TX. Save room for dessert as the black bottom banana cream is amazing. Service is always pleasant, but can be slow if They have a big crowd. One of my favorite places in winnsboro.

Their over-priced lunch menu along with an intrusive waiter made we wish I had gone elsewhere for lunch. Amount and quality of salad ingredients did not justify the price.
