Beautiful setup here. Another home run by Jerry Nelson and group. Lots of fun family entertainment ideas here, including a beautiful outdoor arena for horse/rodeo functions, or any type entertainment venue. Lots of options here for the entire family.

Everything said in previous reviews is true — concert area looks like a high school gymnasium with bench seating for general admission.; Sams Club folding chairs and card tables for the up charge of assigned seating. Terrible service and long lines to get a beer. I was waiting to write this and base it on a second experience, since my first one is so negative — but — it seems N Jerry’s is now out of the indoor concert business. This from the Beaumont Enterprise June 82014 : «We had a small concert venue here and we tried that for two-and-a-half or three years and Beaumont is just not a concert market,» owner Jerry Nelson said. «We don’t have enough people to justify the big acts. Those are in Houston. People drive there to see them. I tried Journey and Allen Jackson at Ford Park, and you can’t sell enough tickets to make it work.» So instead, he shifted his efforts to a different market. Jerry replied on his FB page June 212014: «All concert and events will be held in our outdoor arena in the future.» So Elise’s it’ll be.

First time to Nutty Jerrys last night. We had long table seats. While I wish we could have stayed to listen to BB Kings whole performance, the opening band played WAYTOOLONG! Then BB got long winded and the crowd started chattering. That’s when they started really playing music, about 3 hours after we got there! So after 4 hours in a hard metal chair and moving my legs out of the aisle every 3 minutes, I’d had enough. BB is an amazing legend, and can still play the guitar. However, Nutty Jerrys is NOT the venue I would have liked to see him at. Plus I did not appreciate my purse being searched as we entered, asked for my ticket when I walked to the bathroom and back(without exiting the event center), and had to throw away my water that I just opened upon leaving. Ridiculous treatment of guests. Shop lights over the Beer Garden refreshment area added to the lack of comfort as they shined in my eyes the entire time. Pathetic. BB deserves better. I would have loved to see him at a legit center like the Julie Rogers theater or Lutcher. Did I mention the plastic Sam’s Club tables? Oh that’s classy. This place is a joke. I will never be back, and I live in the area.

Pretty neat place in the middle of nowhere! If your drinking be sure to get a bucket or two, or four because the lines are crazy long.

This is an absolute joke of a restaurant. The venue here brings in all kinds of good, old time bands, but restaurant up front is a complete let down. Generally, the music venue looks like an overgrown junior high school gym with a stage and they can’t fill it unless there is some chicken fried country whiner on stage. But the restaurant… oh my… where to begin… touts itself as this upscale steak house… with only one steak on the menu and, as advised by our waitress(who had an attitude worse that a truck stop diner waitress) the cook has to use a meat thermometer to cook the ribeye to medium rare. 10 minutes before the waitress even came to our take, 20 minutes later she finally came back, without the two beers we ordered, popped off with an attitude to beat all attitudes and spun me into a new dimension of pissed off. The owner, who looks like a hickidied redneck himself that should be embarrased about how he dresses in his place(looked like he just came out from under a tractor), came over and got on to ME for laying into his waitress. Everyone else there was not getting good service either. The few I’ve talked to that were in there said their food was cold and didn’t taste very good, especailly for the price. That waitress needs to find another line of work because the hospitality industry isn’t for her. I not recommend this place to even my worst enemies. If we go back to see another concert there, you’ll see me riding into the parking lot on a pig with wings. Only one star because you can’t give none.
