A much needed and appreciated mini market for Grass Valley area residents of Winnemucca. My childhood I lived in town and only visited this little shop when visiting my friends and we would sneak over on our bikes and buy candy and ice cream. These days I stop on my way into town from our new house stopping for various items. Sodas, jerky, newpapers. They even carry big bottles of clamato, you know for emergencies. Prices are not terrible on most things, but the more grocery type items are a couple bucks more than places in town(big juice bottles, paper goods, bacon), the price you pay for convenience though. I think I have had the same lady check me out(Patrick you’ll laugh at that) every time and every time I’ve been helped with a smile and/or chuckle. Gas is about $.30 more expensive and most people use it to fill up their ATVS. The market is a hub of activity throughout most of the day. I especially see miners, and construction guys stopping for beer or other random things on their way home.
