Windsor Discount Liquor

It has a drive thru! Are you kidding me? Awesome. Plus the staff are very helpful.

This has become what we refer to as «our liquor store». It is small and doesn’t have the selection of some giant place like Wilbur’s, but they do stock everything we’ve ever needed and have a good number of unique beverages.
The main selling point, aside from being close to home, is the staff. They have always been super-​friendly, and very helpful. Even if you ask, what liquor snobs would call, a «dumb» question, they seem to answer it and try to help you find what you want without treating you like an idiot. (I got a quick lesson in champagne basics last New Years and I think the clerk actually enjoyed telling me, whereas other liquor stores sometimes tend to treat those questions with a «Gosh, what a waste of my time» approach.
We’ve had W.D.L. recommend wines, and champagne, and they have never steered us wrong.

Oh, and they have a drive through if you need it. AND a «points» program for regular shoppers.
