I wanted to book a party. I called, was transferred to a party rep, left a message… no call back. Unacceptable.

I called tonight, ahead, to reserve a lane for my kids and I to bowl for 2 hours using the $ 5/hour rate. I left my name with the manager to hold the lane while I got my kids into the car to drive there(we live 5 minutes away). By the time we got there, there were no lanes, our lane we reserved with the manager having been given away and now told we would have to wait an hour for a free lane. After calling ahead to reserve a lane, this is unacceptable. The manager was basically, you’ll have to wait, spend more $ while you wait for your lane to entertain your kids and we will let you bowl for the 2 hour at $ 5/hour starting when you get the lane. Very poor service and attitude when they messed up our evening. There should have been something else they could have done to accommodate us for their error.

Has the misfortune of spending an evening here recently. We get there and are told it’s a two hour wait for bowling but we decide to put our name on the Eagles Nest because the cashier told us we would get to the front of the list faster. We decide to grab some food while we wait and the service was terrible. Never got silverware, had empty cups the entire time, and saw our waitress on the phone while we sat there without these things. We then go to see if our lanes are ready yet and learn Eagles Nest bowling is 15 dollars more and hour which no one had told us or warned us about and there had been open cosmic bowling lanes for a while! They need a better system for bowling to make sure the people waiting the longest get lanes first. Not to mention bathrooms were disgusting you could smell them from the lanes, drinks and food everywhere not being cleared, etc. Didn’t see a manger all night or anyone that seemed to be above the age of 18. Lastly the music sucked and was all inappropriate rap from the early 2000s. They seem to be too cheap to pay for any current music. Needs new management before I return.

The service is terrible in the restaurant, terrible at the bowling lanes, and terrible in the arcade. In the restaurant we sat with empty glasses and never got any silverware. In the arcade the prize room was pretty barren, so we asked if they had any more«prizes» that weren’t on display and the response we got was«we used to». At the bowling alley, my friend was charged double and the transaction had to be voided, but nobody could produce a receipt proving the void. Once we got to our bowling lane there were roughly 900 pairs of bowling shoes laying around, the table had not been bussed, and there wasn’t a single member of the wait staff in sight. Not to mention the music was ridiculous, terrible and completely inappropriate. This place is a joke. I won’t be returning.

Went there with a few friends on a Saturday night for some fun. Once we got there, found out that there was a 2 ½ hour wait for bowling. Got on the list, and were told that if we got on the list for the Eagles Nest that there was less people on the list. Thought cool, sounds like we might not have to wait too long. Went to the arcade and had a blast. Afterward, checked to see where we were on the list and it hadn’t moved at all. Went to the restaurant for some appetizers and some non alcoholic drinks. That’s when everything went down hill. Our drinks were empty most of the time and we had to constantly make sure our waitress was still even around. Got done getting our«quick» bite, we went to check on the bowling list. Still hadn’t moved. We asked the Guest Relations person if we would be able to get on the non-Eagles Nest list and miraculously they had an open lane. Got to the lane and it was a mess. I literally counted 9 pairs of shoes that had been left from previous guests. This just shows me that the staff does not care at all for how the establishment looks what so ever. We had to hunt down an employee to get some waters at the lanes and again to get refills. Then we get to the music. When we first got there, music was upbeat and current. Once we got to the lanes it was either really old or frankly inappropriate. The music videos showed artists at strip clubs! I get it if it’s a popular song but know that if the music video isn’t appropriate, don’t play it! Lastly, we find out that one of my friends is double charged. We notify the guest relations person, who was helpful. They had to call over a manager to make sure that it got voided. The manager was unable to show a receipt for the voided transaction and blamed the system for being stupid and still wasn’t able to give proof that the transaction was actually voided. I’m sorry but when you start blaming the system for the issue, it’s not the system. Poorly trained staff, no matter what level they are, is the worst thing to have for a business. Every time I looked around I saw employees just standing around chatting with each other or flirting with guests. I’m sorry, you’re on the clock, do your job. I will be very surprised if I ever return to this establishment again. Poor service, ridiculous wait times, and flat out dirty.

I have been to the Summit twice now. The food is a solid 3 stars. Nothing fantastic but completely acceptable. First time I had chicken tacos and second time I had a chicken burger. Both were good, neither were great. The game selection they have is lots of fun. Lots of popular games and they have a pretty decent laser tag arena too that isn’t too expensive. Their bowling though is way overpriced. I think it’s like 10 bucks a game plus a few extra for shoes or maybe even more… I just know that the first time I went I intended on bowling but ended up not doing it because I wouldn’t have had money for anything else. If the bowling prices were reasonable I would probably give them 5 stars. Overall the summit is definitely a fun place and is worth the visit if you want to have dinner and game. Side note one thing I noticed is that the machines take forever to rack up your points. They count them out individually which is really slow if you get a large amount of points. One of the machines took 5 min to count out all the points when someone won 800 on it. Not sure if they could fix that with a configuration change or not.

Had a great time at our company Christmas party until they kicked me out of the bar stating that they were«setting up for a private event» even though we told them we were just waiting for a ride. They also told us we couldn’t use the box of props or photo booth because that as well was reserved for this so called private event who BTW has yet to arrive. #out

Awesome place with a great atmosphere! Clean facility, and super helpful staff. My daughter has severe food allergies, and the wait staff and kitchen staff went out of their way to help my daughter feel at home. The food was great, and the arcade and bowling was just as good! Thanks to everyone… especially our fantastic server Rachel!!! We will definitely return!

I wrote a review and I hope the management read it and looked into the matter. My wife told me to erase it after awhile because she wants me to stay positive. I’ll just say the managers need to make their employees feel comfortable working there. Whenever I swing by to Windsor again, I may go back and see if things have improved. It may be awhile down the road, but, we will see.

Four stars do to One complaint, one of The training employees«Gina» was extremely and I mean extremely RUDE! She spoke to people with a negative attitude and was very short. She also slammed the bowling shoes down the entire time she dealt with customers. Besides Miss Gina, our time at The Summit was fun! Bowling was a grand time and the kids love the two story laser tag!!! I’d recommend this place for all kids and adults !!(Just Watch out for Gina)

The summit was OK but Tanner was amazing. Please let me elaborate: Tanners attention to detail, strong ethics and phenomenal hair all contributed to our first class experience. From the moment he dismounted his razer scooter and greeted us at the laser tag check in, his commitment to the summit mission statement of doing stuff, and sometimes things, was truly heart warming. In spite of being busier than a one armed paper hanger with an inch, he only missed the safety video one of three times we participated. Amazing stuff right there by tanner, the man, the myth, the original meat anchor. Tanner, we love you. Rip Ethan. T4& the meat ladder

As far as the bowling alley, and everything that isn’t the food goes this place is great. I’ve never had any sort of issues with any of it. The issues arrive with the food, I’d personally not recommend eating here. The food isn’t really bad, but it also isn’t good. It’s more or less the definition of mediocore. I’ve tried it on two occasions and on both the food was«meh» or below, and the service overall lacking. Everyone in my group felt the same. That being said as I said the rest is great, and you obviously aren’t forced to eat there so I just enjoy the other things.

Went to The Summit to take my niece to play arcade games and bowl. Upon arrival, it was a 2 hour wait for a bowling lane. We notices many open lanes, but we figured we would wait and play around in the arcade. $ 40 later, my niece was able to use her points for about $ 7 worth of ‘prizes’. She had a great time, so I had fun, too. We finally got our bowling lane(about an hour and 30 minutes later). There were about 8 – 10 lanes that were open. No idea what took so long. We had a team of about 20 young softball girls right next to us, but I understand that this is kind of a ‘pizza party’ atmosphere here. Likes: All of the bowling balls were very well organized by weight and size(of the holes). Service at the lane itself(including booze and food) Dislike: The lightest ball they had was 6 pounds, which was still too heavy for my niece. The idea of eating while bowling has me a little grossed out. Expensive. $ 40 for games, about $ 50 for bowling/shoes I dont know if we will be returning, but we had fun and spend a crap ton of money.

In not sure what the complaints on here are for but I like this place. I’ve been here on a few occasions and have rented the Eagles’ Nest for company functions. Here we had 8 private lanes of bowling, a bar, pool tables, as well as good food. The service has been top notch and the facility is clean and well maintained. While the prices here may be higher than most, this is a quality establishment and you pay for that anywhere. We liked the potato skins, wings, and sliders. There is also pizza, steak, and other items on the menu. The bowling lanes themselves are are awesome and well maintained. Even their bowling shoes and balls are nice. Laser tag– you play in teams or in solo mode. The teams function is best for larger groups. Our company played 10 against 10 and it was a blast! The arcade is nice and has lots of fun games. Overall the atmosphere is great and the service and food are good. Give them a chance if you are looking for a place to book a company function, birthday, or family outing.

I am writing this review only on my brief experience with the customer service there and it was not good. My husband, son, and I were trying to figure out something to do on a snowy Sunday so we decided to try out The Summit. Upon our arrival we were very rudely informed that all the bowling lanes had been reserved for a corporate function until 4:00PM. She then told us the only activities available were the arcade and the restaurant. Once the woman saw we were leaving she rushed over to us to give us a coupon from a very large stack for the next time we came back. I’m assuming they expected to turn away a lot of people that day… Thanks but I don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon.

HORRIBLESERVICE! For 2 people during lunch, on a slow afternoon, it took over 40 minutes, our glasses were empty several times for 10 – 15 minutes at a time. When it was time to pay the bill, the server Heather never came back to retrieve the card, we had to find her at the bar. The table next to us had to also bring 4 of their glasses to her at the bar to be refilled. The food was excellent but we won’t be returning until they get a better grip on customer service!

When you first walk into the Tavern & Grill, you feel like you are in your college cafeteria. Pine wood, blue-ish booths, & very bright lights for a Friday night! We decided to sit outside since it was so nice out & right next to the fire pit. Great choice! Hopefully the fire pit is open year round because I could seriously drink libation after libation staring into the fire. The food was pretty good. We both got BYOBurgers with fries. Reasonably priced for the size of the burger & amount of fries! Service does need improvement. While ordering, our waiter did not know what the signature Crossroads sauce was for the burgers. By the time our food got there, we did not have silverware, napkins, ketchup, salt & pepper, etc. so we had to find him at the bar to get everything we needed. Training pains! We’ll head back in a few months. We walked around The Summit after sipping some beers at the armchairs surrounding the fire pit. I think our favorite spot will be the 21+ lounge complete with ambient lighting, 4 bowling lanes, pool tables, plenty of XXL tv screens, full bar & lots of lounge chairs. Very cool!

We booked this place for our daughter’s 9th birthday a couple days after they opened. When we went into book the party they hadn’t setup their credit card machine so I couldn’t pay the $ 100 deposit. Not too big of a deal but it did leave me concerned they would double-book or lose our reservation and we’d show up with 15+ kids and nowhere to have a party. I received an email confirmation and had to make a change to it so I replied to the email only to have it bounce because the sender’s account wasn’t setup correctly. On top of that, their phone system wasn’t working properly so ever time I called I would either get a busy signal or if I got through to someone, I’d be hung up on when they transfered me. I chalked all this up to the place being new. But the party day was where we had the problem. Our party assistant, Jesse, was great. He was very helpful and kept us on schedule so that we received the two laser tag games and plent of time for food and arcades. The biggest party package, which is what we chose, gives each guest a $ 10 game card. The problem is that every game is $ 1-$ 3 each. It’s ridiculous. But… That was ok because if the kids wanted to play more then their parents could reload the cards. Everything went well and sometime at the end of the party when I was picking up gifts and getting all our stuff together, Jesse began handing out bowling pin cups filled with candy. I didn’t notice it until he’s given out all but 3 and I didn’t have much time to think about it because parents were coming up to me looking for their kids and my hands were full of gifts and such. Then I got the bill… When we booked the party, Shelly asked if I wanted to add in additional items such as these bowling pin cups. They’re $ 5 each. I figured I’m already spending $ 350 and that’s enough so I declined however I did order one cup for my son. My daughter was to get one included in the package. My bill however, had me paying $ 30 for cups and $ 9 for candy that I DIDNOT order. I brought this to Jesse and he said he’d talk to his manager(Shelly) and after about 5 minutes he came back and told m I could pay for the cups and candy OR… Take then back from the kids. Those were my options. Pay for something I didn’t order or LITERALLY take candy away from babies. I told Jesse I’d like to talk to his manager and after about 15 minutes she finally showed up. From the start Shelly was confrontational and defensive. She tried to tell me it was my fault because I should have told Jesse we didn’t order the cups. Then she told me it was in my agreement. I told her it was not MY job to make sure they do THEIR job, it’s not in my agreement which I had a copy of on my phone and showed her on the spot AND if she wanted to take them back then SHE could do it. I wasn’t about to ruin my daughters party because of their mistake. So Shelly tells me she would go get my agreement and I said ok and followed her to her office where she proceeded I print out a NEW agreement, dated for today, and WITHOUT my signature. So she calls someone else and explains the situation in her office and finally comes out and rudely tells me she will take the cups off. I finally got my bill with the cups and candy removed and the kids got to keep the cups but this shouldn’t have happened. They made a mistake. It’s not my job to monitor their mistakes and to tell a paying customer to take candy from kids is appalling. We won’t be booking another party there again.
